How many Nes games do you have?

In Collecting

So in effort to make this forum active, i will pose the question:

how many NES Games do you have?

myself, i have 337(+4 multicarts = 341), and with the arrival of my near complete stackup i will have 338(342). of that number:

about 75 are complete
about 32 are boxed
about 20 have the manual
rest are loose.

other items i possess are:

toploader
25 toasters(3 boxed w/ styro
ROB(soon)
and various other accessories(game genie, satelite, advantage, etc.)

I think i have around 200-210, dunno exact, more then the half is complete, few boxed games the rest carts.

Not very many I have supermario one, supermario two, and three. Duckhunt, Goonies Two, Zelda, and Terminator 2 although I needd teo get it fixed.

i have a total of 23 cartidges
they are:
Tecmo World Wrestling
Wrestlemania
Wrestlemania Challenge
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
Excitebike (with manual not in good condition)
Rad Gravity
Zelda
Zelda II: The Adventure of Link
Mach Rider
Kirby's Adventure
Urban Champion
Hogans Alley
Track And Feild 2
International Cricket
Super Mario Bros. 2
Super Mario Bros. 3 (with box and manual in good condithion)
Rad Racer (with box and 3d glasses not in very good condition)
Kung Fu (with box and manual not in very good condition)
Pinball (with box and manual in perfect condition)
2 in 1
-Super Mario Bros.
-Duckhunt
3 in 1
-Super Mario Bros.
-Tetris
-Nintendo World Cup
4 in 1
-PacMan
-Sidewinder
-Duck Maze
-Othello
15 in 1 (with box not in good condition)
-F-15 City War
-Puzzle

-Black Jack
-Dudes With Attitude
-Venice Beach Volleyball
-Stakk 'm
-Deathbots
-Rad Racket Deluxe Tennis 2
-Chiller
-Solitare
-Menace Beach
-Shock Wave

unless noted all games are the cartridge only

i also have:
light gun
3 controllers
turbo controller
joy stick
2 nes consoles

one of the nes consoles is the original console i got for christmas many years ago the case is perfect and has no marks on it and although it stoped working i got a new pin reader and it now workes like a brand new console

The pinball game with box and manual i only bought todeay for $10 and when i opened it up i found there was a plastic bag in it with the manual, a poster with pictues of other games on it, and even the original reseat from when the game was brand new 14 years ago all in perfect condition. Although its not the best game or the rarest its quite a find to get any game in such imaculet condition

So in effort to make this forum active, i will pose the question:

how many NES Games do you have?

I don't currently have an exact count. I do know I have over 300 games, 200 manuals, and 100 boxes.

* Have not been officially purchased, but are in my possesion at the moment.

All of these are carts only.

I currently own 11, but I have a number more coming to me tonight, so I'll have to update a little later, I've just started the collection.

scince i posted my list i have got some more games

Solstice (with box, manual and poster all in fairly good condition
i also got a 4 in 1 cart with Super Mario Bros., b wings, twin bee and Duckhunt.
unfortunatly the 4 in 1 is japanies so it doesnt work on my pal nintendo

so after last night's score, I'm up to 31 carts not including doubles, two NESes, a game genie with code book, two zappers, two original controllers, and an NES MAX controller.

Cool. I have a stack of about 5 classic NES consoles, methinks-- all in varying states of repair(most kinda work, maybe). It's always good to have extra controllers-- some work better than others after all these years... Good luck in getting more-- gotta talk to all yer friends and get them to drag their old NES stuff out and give it to you...

--
Derek

that's pretty much what I'm doing, I just went to a friend's place who also casually collects, and traded off a double of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 for Marble Madness, and my copy of Dr. Mario for Operation Wolf (since I don't really like Dr. Mario ) I have a few more leads I'm working on for more stuff, should work out pretty well

OMG! Dr. Mario is one of the BEST games for the NES!!!

Derek

I really have to live in the US,here shit is exspensive.I'd like to buy a game for 0.99 cents for once!

Where do you live? Here in the USA, if you don't look carefully, the only carts you'll get for $0.99 are Mario/Duckhunt. It's all about finding people who just don't know...

Complete US collection
Complete Famicom Collection (including the multicarts)
Several MI82's
The list could go on for days
I also have 7 of the 25 Gold NWC carts

I've been able to find games as cheap as .25 cents sometimes. It just depends on where you are located, probably. Sure, those games weren't all that great, but it helped add to my collection which is about 200 carts now. The game is usually the main factor in it's price.

show me photos, until then, that is too much to believe, and to further prove that it is your collection, make a sign that says NES files and have it in the photo. I mean no disrespect, but that is a large claim you've made.

I have only got 7 games on the nes, but I have just about every game there is to get on my computer which I have picked up here and there. I wonder if there is any expectations of how many games you have on this page to be a member.

SMB1
SMB2*
Duckhunt
Megaman 3
Duck Tales*
Solar Jetman
Life Force
Kung Fu
Nes Open Golf
Rad Gravity
Battle of Olympus
Tennis
Rainbow Islands
Willow
Goonies 2
Ghost'n Goblins

*I lost the manual

I have only 7 games. The other items is: One laser gun, two controllers and of course the NES!

There's no requirement to owning a certain number of NES Games, or even a NES at all to participate in the forums, and be a member-- you just have to talk about the NES and video games in general(in the appropriate forums). Everyone has to start somewhere, too-- everyone has had just 7 at some point. Welcome to The NES Files forums!

I have around 20 now, but I want to stock up when I get to Japan next time. But it's bad that I'm too picky. I only buy complete games, i.e. with box and manual. There are only 2 or 3 I have without boxes.

As for hardware, I have a NES (European Version), a Japanese Famicom and a Japanese Twin-Famicom from Sharp. I like it, cos I got it for free.

Currently, I'm at 365 unique cartridges and 2 doubles.

32 unique right now, should be getting 16 more unique, and a pile of doubles.

Its New years eve and my brother inlaw is here and has tolerated me enough to take some pics and make my album. Heres what we got done and there is still more to come. Hopefully soon. I would take my self but the lack of a digital cam makes it hard.

Link doesn't seem to work, it doesn't seem to allow access to anyone other than the owner of the album. try

This one should work. Im gonna try to get some more up today if he comes back over.

Added my ps2 and some old dreamcast games I dug up to my webshot pages. Once my dad gets back in town I will go get my nes things that r there. I have alot and I just left it there for safe keeping and for my two little ones when they spend the weekends there, but since I organized all my other stuff I figured I might as well sort that out to. I will let everyone know when they are up. I am not bragging just proud of my collection.

PS I also started to put papers with my name on it next to my Games, Just to keep it legite.

Yeah right, you talk outta ya ass all the time!?

Edit: To stay on Topic i have like 200-220, dunno exactly how many, around that number.

I agree that is almost impossible even to have just all the us releases. It could be done but very unlikely. Since the person was anonymous, I would also agree that he his full of.

Having the full US collection, AND the famicom collection AND 7 of the 25 GWC carts-- definitely a troll...

either that or my hero

88 NES
1 Famicom (pirate)

What's a "troll" and what's up with those golden NWC (?) carts?

What's a "troll" and what's up with those golden NWC (?) carts?

A troll is someone who posts something on a public board, just to get a reaction(good or bad, but typically bad). Typically something outrageous or inflammatory. See:

There were only 25 Gold NWC carts made-- they are one of the most rare NES carts available.

a troll is someone who just says things to instigate an arguement, and the golden Nintendo World Championship carts and the most rare NES cart ever.

Ha! On the Filipino board that I posted about before, they don't call them trolls, they call them smurfs! Talk about a world of difference!

Oh, I see.
Smurfs... aren't smurfs rather cute? I don't know how they look like to Filipinos.
Unfortunately I don't have such a golden cart.

I have alooooooooot. I'm a Nintendo mania.

21. Castlevania I
22. Castlevania II
23. Double Dragon I
24. Double Dragon II
25. Double Dragon III
26. Robocop I
27. Super Samurai
28. Destiny of an Emperor 1
29. NES ROMance of The Three Kingdom I
30. Rockman 1

56. Elrond
57. Ikari II
58. Ikari III
59. Iron Tank
60. Phantom Fighter
and maybe about 10 catridge more, but somewhat they've gone

that is a very nice collection, it's more about fun games than quantity or rarity for me, but I'm still grabbing all of the ones I can find

And happyly, I had complete almost all of those games I buy. Here is a list that I can't complete it:
- Friday the 13th (At the third fight vs Jason, I can't hit him and always defeated, because he's so fast and never slow down his movement)
- Terra Cresta (How many levels????)
- Banana (too long)
- Ikari I & II (doh, I can complete Ikari III)
- Layla (too long)
- Year Kung Fu (How many levels????)
- A game with Japan char. can't understand it at all, how can i play it?
- and in 260 in 1, 64 in 1, there are many games that i can't complete because of too many levels or not understand the language.

and a catridge that I didn't mention, Gradius 2. (Of course I had complete it, but once my ship explode, I better reset and play again)

A random tip on defeating the third Jason:

He has a main pattern that you can follow. Stay toward the middle of the screen. He will run down and hack at you twice. Both times duck. He will then run to the right and back to you. Duck both blows. When he starts moving back up is your only chance to hit him in the pattern. Everything you do must be timed a little preemptive to stay alive and get the hit on him. It takes a while, but keep at it, and you'll defeat him.

Thanks Roth. Sunday later, I'll try to play Friday the 13th again.

and about golden case of catridge, i only have 2. that's Zelda I & II. And there's 25 golden case? what else? are they good? Of course i praise Zelda I & II is a good adventure game.

the golden Nintendo World Championship carts aren't just any golden cased game, there were only 25 of them, not Zelda, where there were several hundred thousand, maybe even several million copies produced. they're VERY valuable.

I know 2 people who own one, damn those bitches are $$$$$,have to get my hands on one too,but there were only like 8 left i think and collectors own them all.

you know two people!? get photos man! I want to see one of those things!

hahaha, i think the golden Nintendo World Championship carts means catridge with golden case like Zelda I & II. sigh, just forgive my stupid mistake.

Well, the grand total is up to 51 unique carts, and 10 doubles now

EDIT: I recounted, and realized that I missed one.

i have like 342 games i will tell you 20 games of mine

Wow, he has a quite a collection, that's a nice site.

Yeah he has alot of obscure stuff, damn nice collection, i've bought a m82 from him.
His collection is mega big man...

Where do people get those test and promo carts from

That'a really nice site.

Where do people get those test and promo carts from

That'a really nice site.

They pay LARGE for 'em.

more than I'm willing to pay really...

Who do they pay?
Who does actually own those in the first place? Game creators or so?

well, some could have been had when Acclaim closed up an auctioned everything off. other things were probably stolen and sold by employees in the past. things just make there way out of the vaults, and end up for sale.

Here's my (short) list.
I definitely need to add to the collection.

Super Mario Bros. 1,2,3
Zelda 1,2
Chip'n Dale Rescue Rangers
Duck Tales
Tetris
Low G Man
Slalom
Road Fighter
Megaman 3
Faxanadu
Dragon Quest 1,2,3,3,4 (jap.)
Final Fantasy 1,2,3 (jap.)
Tsuppari Ozumo (jap.)

Should be complete.

Who do they pay?
Who does actually own those in the first place? Game creators or so?

Yeah programmers bring or send them out to be tested,if something has to be changed they change it and make another one so there can be more versions of proto's.

Most of Nintendo's own stuff proto's or testcarts were picked up by Nintendo again so they wouldn't be sold, although alot were stolen by workers, testers, gamestore people, game mags and people sold them.

If the game just basicly suckled it wouldn't come out and then the proto is worth alot more money.

At the moment i have 1 proto, i really want some more,it's great to own those things, hand made!

If I could get one I would like to possess one, too.

well i own atound 15 games as of now but im really starting to buy some now so that will most likely go up soon

Thanks a lot, Roth!!! That's really2 a great tip. Today I've defeat that stupid Jason with my favorite weapon (trident) and armor. But once again, I still don't know what is the flashlight for... anyway, thanks again.

Ah... the flashlight is only to light up the cave.

As of today I'm at 482 unique games.

I only have 87 Carts not counting Double Copies but it's growing

Right now I'm only at 35 titles and hoping to expand upon it soon.

I think I am around ..I don't remember if that is counting famicom and sealed...of which there are only seven

Wamp17

I think I got about 15-20 or so. I just got my NES this Christmas, and I had games, but they are as old as the first day/year the NES came out, and they were in my attic. (I can't believe how unwell my bro treated his games)

My collection numbers a bit above 100, me and a friend are essentially collaborating together on this one. No real Goal at this point, the essentials are all we want.

off the top of my head probably around 75 or more.

I just recently broke 100, I'm at maybe 105 now...

I think I'm doing OK considering I just started in December

I have...... let's see here. 16. I know I'm low on my NES Games but I'm still collecting.

about 20 including my bro's but myself I have four since he has the rest i thought i'd buy them later.

I just recently broke 100, I'm at maybe 105 now...

WOW. I have only 20, and I have had my NES for a while.

I have only got 14 games, but I am trying to spread the love evenly between various consoles. The only place I can really get NES Games now is Ebay and car boot sales which is a bit of a bummer

I totally disagree. Anyone with a few grand and a solid 6 or 9 months to scour ebay could do it. It's just not that hard to find loose copies. Now if you're talking completes or god forbid sealed, that's a whole other story.

Naturally though anonymous is full of shit because no one would be able to buy that many NWC's without other collectors noticing that they are hoarding.

I have around 155 NES Games.

Now I have 6 I gots Roger Clemen's MVP Baseball

So in effort to make this forum active, i will pose the question:

how many NES Games do you have?

myself, i have 337(+4 multicarts = 341), and with the arrival of my near complete stackup i will have 338(342). of that number:

about 75 are complete
about 32 are boxed
about 20 have the manual

other items i possess are:

toploader
25 toasters(3 boxed w/ styro
ROB(soon)
and various other accessories(game genie, satelite, advantage, etc.)

well, exactly 6 months has passed since i started this thread. Hows everyone doing now? currently at 402 here. 60 games in 6 months = 10 games a month. at this rate i can expect to finish in about 3 1/2 years

Holy smokes! You have a lot of games and NES'! What collection are you trying to finish, buying one of everything from Nintendo?

nah, im just mainly after the US NES Games right now... though getting rodland and mr gimmick would be nice

btw, im at 30 nes toasters and 1 toploader now

I have 30 NES Games now. Also, I have 2 coming in the mail from Dragon.

I got 34 on the way from Drache and 2 on the way from ebay. so soon I'll have 36 games, 4 working systems, 6 reg. controllers, 1 joystick controller and 2 guns. ^_^

As of this morning, I'm up to 53 games. I started collecting this January.

I guess I can update mine:
4 systems
8 controllers
1 joystick controller
3 light guns
39 games
(got some new games off ebay. might get to add a couple more if I can get up to EBGames.)

I have 14 games. Not much.
1.Commando
2.Ghosts n' goblins
3.Jepordy jr.
4.Princess tomatoe in the salad kingdom
5.R.C. pro am
6.Rampage
7.Robocop
8.Super mario 1/Duckhunt
9.Super mario 1/Duckhunt/World class track meet
10.Super mario 2
11.Super mario 3
12.Tag Team Wrestling

I got 45!

been a month since i posted here, and in a month only accquired 1 (!!!!) nes game. lololololol

sad case...

49 in all. mostly focusing on SNES now though

Like, 25 or 26 with doubles. Here's all my individual games not counting doubles. I feel it's pretty strong, especially since I'm weeding out some of the lesser games at the end of the list on ebay. I'm only interested in the cream of the crop.

It's been a while since I've counted my games/systems/accessories...here's what I currently have:

382 unique games (364 NTSC, 17 PAL; 1 Asian-Version; 600-700 manuals, and around 200+ boxes)
1 MIB Top-loader NES
1 loose toaster NES
19 unique NES & Famicom clones (15 complete/new)
70 unique "controllers" (34 CIB/new)
19 other unique NES accessories (storage cases/non-game cartridges, etc; 9 complete/new)
and a lot of NES-related merchandise and Famicom stuff.

Now that I look back at these numbers...more than I expected. It feels good to keep track of progress once in a while

-Speedy

289 Unique Games... over 300 when dups are included...

So in effort to make this forum active, i will pose the question:

I'm not a collector, so 8 games haha. But 2 of those are gone (until I find ones I can buy) and 2 more are still with my brother (until I get them back).
I also have the gun (orange).

i have many stacks and boxes

66 unique Region A PAL NES Games, according to my list, though a few more should turn up today. Damn you Ebay!

In PAL region B (EEC), all I have is Life Force/Salamander

I have very few US Carts - mainly the Aladdin Deck Enhancer and it's 6 mini-carts, Shatterhand and Robowarrior.

3 Official Famicom carts: LayLa, Sweet Home and Kid Dracula.
5 Famiclone carts, that accompanied my Family Game Famiclone, one of which is a 7-in-1 Multicart (not sure of the games, till I can get the Famiclone running)

3 PAL NES Systems, (2 are in dubious condition. At least one is going to need a replacement 72 pin connector)
1 "Family Game" Famiclone
Quite a few NES pads (7-ish? haven't counted, some are in poor condition)
NES Advantage joystick
Four-Score multitap.

I got about 120 or so games, I had more, but they pretty much sucked so I sold em.

I have 70. Soon to be 80, cause i scored a load of cash recently.

i can't remember if i've posted in this topic already. either way, i'm sure i have more games since i posted.

anyways, i got 123 NES Games.

i think only like 70 maybe

i keep getting more somehow, random ways.

right now i have about 130 games. 15 complete 2 boxes and the rest are carts.
i also have tons of different types of controllers and other acc. such as ROB , UForce, POWer glove , running pad 2 dog bones and 1 famicom style contoller.

4 toasters and 2 top loaders

100 ish, about a month ago I was only at 25-35

Update: 125 games and rising

101 different games from a total of 139 games

I have every NES game but one. I still need a Myriad 6 in 1 if somone would like to sell me one . I still have a some variants left to track down, but I am in no huge hurry for that.

165 and going strong

I use to have many many..back in the day..but ive recovered about 5 of them now.

So in effort to make this forum active, i will pose the question:

how many NES Games do you have?

myself, i have 337(+4 multicarts = 341), and with the arrival of my near complete stackup i will have 338(342). of that number:

about 75 are complete
about 32 are boxed
about 20 have the manual
rest are loose.

other items i possess are:

toploader
25 toasters(3 boxed w/ styro
ROB(soon)
and various other accessories(game genie, satelite, advantage, etc.)Belive it or not, but that's actually me who asked that, I think this was my first post...I didn't know that my first post was as a guest...

I only have 18 NES Games . I have been interested in getting that number larger though.

I think i have 70 somthing games i haven't checked in a long time..........

As of 3/27/06, I have 206 NES Games. About 15 of them are boxed, but I keep the boxes stored in a bigger box with about 25 manuals. I got the link of the all the games, but not the boxes or manuals, sorry. Also, the toaster, 3 controllers, the gun, advantage joystick, and this python II joystick.

Heres the link:

I only have around 30 games. All in mint condition too

I've got over 50 games, two NES consoles, a light gun, 4 standard controllers, two NES Advantages, a FourScore, and several pieces of these items for back-up.
