you can pick 7 different challenges to play! it's very fun, but it does get boring after a while.

Nice Variety Game...

This game offers much variety as you can take part in many extreme sports such as skateboading, bmx, rollerblading, and surfing. You can also participate in slightly more tame games such as hacky sack. I really like this game because it captures the essence of those things that were so popular in the 80's, and the main reason we all still enjoy playing our old dusty NESs is because of the Nostalgia factor. Also, it's an early take on the extreme sports games that are so popular these days.

i will always remember this game

Not much to look at, but this game is one of my personal classics. Back in the day, I bought this game for the Sega Master System only because I couldn't find it for my NES. It's challenging, and it makes for a good party game real late at night (or course, by todays standards for 8-bit entertainment I mean 'Drinkig Game')

I remember a couple of the mini-games in this cartridge being fun when I was young, but after playing it recently I can't figure out which one I would have possible enjoyed. Even when I liked it as a kid, this was a rental and nothing more. Of course, now you can probably get it for the tiniest fraction of a 1989 rental fee, so perhaps it's not bad if you can get it *very* cheap, but it's not the best of multi-game cartridges. Most of the 'California Games' here are poorly programmed with weak controls.

Awesome!
