My bro used to own this back in Elementary school. We'd chill at his house and play this.;) Fun game.
Sunsoft did a good job with this title. I never thought someday I would own as many nes games as I do now, especially the ones all my friends had.

Nice control, decent graphics and a stellar soundtrack. I love how Batman disintegrtes when he dies too.
As far as challenge goes, level 1 and 2 aren\'t too hard. Level 3 gets a little rough, but it can be defeated after a little while. Level 4 is really tough and will test your patience like an R-Type level would. Level 5 is tough too, and the Joker is very tough to beat.
A decent game worth checking out.

| Because if you play as Batman in almost any video game ever created youre not going to be the caped crusader...youll be the caped cripple.I have Batman:Vengeance and lo and behold it sucks like the rest of the Batman games.DC knows mindless zombies like you and I will purchase these games because Batman is in them; it damn sure aint for the gameplay. Im not going to review another Batman game unless its good.All the ones Ive played SUCK.4/10 only because Batman is in them. | this game was pretty good..it was somewhat hard untill u got the hang of it...the only hardest part was beating the joker but i found if u stay close to him and duck and shoot most of ur bat boomerangs than u should prevail..in the last fight i just went all out and i won..this is a true classic game.if u dont own it than someday track it down if u still wanna have old school fun on ur nintendo |

| Nice music, and graphics. I passed this one without cheating. The good thing about this game being so challenging is that you need to figure out strategies to bet the bosses. Why not re-play it. |

This game amazed me when it was first released, and it still continues to entertain me today. Sunsoft did a great job with this one.
Some people complain about the game being too challenging, but in reality, it isn't all that hard. Just like any other game, it requires practice to fine tune the difficult jumps.
I'd recommend this game to anyone, not just Batman fans. |

I played this game forever on my nes and i got pretty good at it. So good that i could get to the joker anytime i wanted. yet i hit the facepainted freak like this many times6787896787897
and he didnt die so i dont think even the game genie could help. |

| Batman is a fun, yet very challenging game. YOu get three weapons in your pursuit of the joker. YOu face all sorts of crazy villians and go through all sorts of believable hell in Gotham City to include an abandoned factory and the infamouse clocktower made famouse in the movie. The one thing that makes this different from the Batman we know and love is that he jumps from Wall to Wall like Ryu Hayabusa from the Ninja Gaiden series. I don't recall him being able to do that. But overall you have a fun but very hard game. |

| I'm a Batman fan, but this is just an average sidescroller. Nice game, nut nothing special and oh yes, I never beat the Joker. It could be a bug in my game (I got in on a 13-in-1 cartridge) but is that guy really THAT strong? Rating 6.5/10 |

| All in all, I really like the Batman game. First of all, I really like Batman anyway, so naturally I'd have an interest in the game. The music is good, and the graphics are decent. They aren't exactly hi-tech, but the designers were fairly artistic about how they used what they had. Definitely worth a bit of time... |

| Who doesn't love Batman? Ok there may be a few of you but oh well. This is the only Batman game I've played and it was pretty good. The graphics were above average, the gameplay was average and as for the music I can't recall. It's been a while since I played this title but am sure of how I liked it. It wasn't great but was above Average so a score of 3.8/5 I think is fair. |
