My son

In Off-topic

I've talked about my son Jeremiah for some time now, so I thought I'd post some pics.

Here he is, in all his lovely morning-nappy-headedness! He really likes getting his pic taken, so he likes to cheese for the camera SUPER hard!

He's a huge fan of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and likes to play the games as well. Here is when he got past Bebop this morning. He can't get too much farther as of now, but that's something! Ha!

...and he loves his Turtles toys, as well! I think this is part of the reason that we are always broke! We tried to get this picture a couple of days ago, but he ended up getting sick before we could set them up for the pic. Here's his collection:

Anyway, that's my son! He rocks!

...

raise him right! keep him away from lame games and toys. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles were my heroes as a kid, and they still rock. (in their old school forms, I'm not much for the new non-ass-kicking incarnation)

That's soo nice.

It's really good to see kids who aren't after Pokemon all the time.

Yeah, he kicks *ss! I think it's awesome that he likes stuff like Turtles, and Lord of the Rings toys. I'm not big on kids and Pokemon craze myself. This way, I get to see how Turtles are now-a-days compared to the old ones. Honestly, I've grown to like the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles more than the original cartoons. At first I didn't did the new ones, but it seemed to grow on me. Plus playing with the new characters with Jeremiah is cool! He has tons of the old ones now, too. It's a blast!

Nice little fallow, cool that he likes the NES over new gen,i'm sure you're a cool dad!

HEY !!! He's got the Techno-Drome...how cool! ..can i come over ta play...not Micheal jackson style just Ninja Turtles...

i cant even defeat bebop, hes a pro.

Looks like u got him on the right track no GTA i hope.

u r very nice letting him play yer games.

My bro didn't let me until he trusted me with them

Yeah, there's no problem with him playing the games. He knows better than to try and take the games in and out by himself, so I do that for him. He knows how to reset it if he's messing up, and how to turn it off when he's had enough! As a matter of fact, just yesterday while I was on the web, I looked over and he just pushed POWer on the Nintendo and started playing whatever was in there. Pretty funny stuff!

That's a pretty awesome gaming rig.

Roth, you certainly have him started out on the right track.
If he can beat Bebop on 'Turtles' now, imagine what's in store for the future...

Wouldn't that be a quote to hear.

I would worship that child as my god... he's already better at Turtles than I am

Thanks! It's pretty nice. I've never been able to play games in stereo until my father gave me that stereo. Well, the NES isn't in stereo, but it's good to hear it through big speakers!

It looks slightly better now. I have the NES, SMS, DC, GC, and PS2 all Hooked up in there now! It's great! Maybe I'll post a pic of the updated 'rig.'

Wow hadnt seen this posted, always wondered about youre kid lol. Anywayz nice that hes on the Nes my friend has a little bro (3 years old almost 4 i think) he plays PS2 Dam good at it too but he needs to use the nes unfortunaetly now all he does is run around the house yelling stuff like ill kill you B**** from GTA San Andreas

HA! Don't get me started on that!

I was playing a game with him two players... can't remember what it was, though. Somehow, he did something that made my character die. I kind of slipped up and said, "Jeremiah, you f*cked me up!"

About five minutes later, his character ended up dying, and what does he say? "Aaawww, daddy, you f*cked me up!"

Dude, I can't even explain to you how funny it was! I couldn't even get mad at him for it! It was one of the funniest things I have ever heard in my whole life!

hahahahah, that made me "lol" i think if i were you i would of done the samething.... you can't really punish him if he doesn't know that it's "wrong" to say that

Well, Jeremiah had school pictures taken, and I keep forgetting to post them... check him out! He's a little pimp! ha

...

Ps. Be my dad please.

No, NOW he's a pimp:

HAHAHA! Nice! Maybe I ought to look into getting him a hat like that!

..and sorry toubabokoomi, one is enough of a handful for me! ha

Haha sorry, had to bump this up. Your kid is so Awesoime! Got any new stories to tell?

He, he! Now that's what I'm talking about. I think He's got all the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles figures from 1988 (the first figures). Were they yours when you were little, Roth? Anyway I remember I used to collect every single one of them, and I still got them! Since he's a big fan of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles you better inform of this web site: , it's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' official web site. Where you get informed about every toy that has ever been released, and what toys that are coming, and when.

You also get to see all the comic books, including the first comic book of 40 pages from 1984!

Ha! Thanks Yeah, he's a blast alright.

That Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles site is the one he ALWAYS wants to look at. He likes to look at all the toys from past and present. Of course, he wants each item that loads on the monitor

when I have kids I hope they're as into old school stuff as I am. your kid kicks ass dude! lol "daddy, you f*cked me up!" lmfao, that cracks me up.

Ha! Thanks :) Yeah, he's a blast alright.

Of course, he wants each item that loads on the monitor :P There's a TON of stories, but none that really pops into my mind right now. At this very second though, he and his cousin Daisy are playing in his room... THERE ARE SO MANY TOYS OUT THAT YOU CAN'T EVEN SEE THE FLOOR IN HIS BEDROOM!!!!!!!!!!! :o :o :o :o I'm gonna have to have them do some cleaning before long. It's totally out of control! :shock:Yeah, your kid is a blast alright, but of course it takes a cool dad to get a kid on the right track! I'm pretty sure you're a good father, considering everything I've seen you posted, you most certainly seems to be a nice person.

I try

He has a new favorite game now. He seems to be really attached to Soul Calibur II for the GameCube. It's funny, I just asked him who his favorite person is on the game, and he said, "The nunchuck guy."

On the downside, he hates the game Nobunaga's Ambition, and yells at me to play something else when I play that game... it must be a tad to boring for him

I took this pic a few days ago. He's recently taken an interest in the first Ninja Gaiden. He ended up about two screens away from the second boss! I was pretty surprised.

:)

Does your Son like the Megaman games on Nes?

pfft!! that's farther than i can get in that game

Very cool that you're passing along the "NES life" to your son. He seems to be very good at Ninja Gaiden! Not an easy game, by any means.

Yeah, he does... he's just not very good at them yet. I think he likes the characters the most. You know, the way they have the simple names that match up with how they look :P

I wouldn't say he's good at Ninja Gaiden... yet. He does listen to my tips though. If he could get to at least the Kelbeross level (Act IV), I'd be HIGHLY impressed. It's still a blast to watch him play it though.

@Commander Campkill:
You haven't beaten that yet? Get to it freak! ;)

I've always been a huge fac of the ninja turtles.

I'm definately going to raise my kids on the NES. that wont be for a while though... your son's probably wicked cool.

yeah well that one day i had to uhh.... and then umm uhh i had well..... i'll give it another try

Here's his collection:

I came to think of, that I never understood the people who collect toys, and keep them in their boxes, does anyone agree? I mean it looks so much better that way. I can understand that people keep their NES Games in the original boxes, but toys are just at a whole other level. Toys are meant to be played with, or if you just collect them, placed on someplace where everyone could see them.

Roth, what all NES Games do you have?

I have a feeling he has over 100 NES Games.

I'm not sure when this was last updated, but he has list.

If ANYONE can respect this, it's you guys!

My son just told me today that he wanted his own channel on YouTube haha Anyway, if you'd like to see what a younger (read: 6 years old) person has to say, here it is:

He loves talking into a camera it seems... he was a little rough starting off, but I think he got the grip of it by the time it was all said and done. Anywho, here's my boy, who I'm EXTREMELY proud of, as you probably know : )
