I have a confession to make....

In SNES

...

You can get a emulator for those games. I played both and there GREAAAT rpgs espcially Tales of phantasia A MUST PLAY

Get the carts. Especially Secret of Mana 2 (=Seiken Densetsu 3) is really great. I bought it 3 years ago for 300Yen (3$) in Japan.

Don't feel bad, dweller. I also have no SNES Games. No system yet, either. The store I was supposed to get it from doesn't have all the Hook-ups for it, so they won't sell it to me. They have a few cool games there, too.

We shall mourn together

*puts hand on dwellers shoulder reassuringly*

they won't sell it because they don't have the cords? that doesn't make sense to me! it's just taking up room there... you can get a POWer adapter for it, and the A/V connector is the same as the GameCube...

Well, I'm not sure why either. I think he likes to test everything first. It's a small mom and pop kind of store, you know? I'm going to call him today and see if he'll sell it anyway... I really want the dern thing!

If he doesn't have the Hookups how can he use it for testing?

Okay, he hasn't tested the SYSTEM yet. He doesn't have the Hook-ups for it. It's an SNES model 2, and though I haven't seen for myself, he says the adaptor sizes are different from the model 1 that he has. So I suppose it's the adaptor that he doesn't have. I'm sure I could find one pretty easy, so that's why I'm going to call him.

...

Thanks dude. I'll see what I can get from there in that respect. I wasn't able to get ahold of him yesterday... I guess he was out or something If he doesn't come off soon, then I'm going to start suspecting that he's holding it for someone... I'll be SUPER pissed if that's the case. I don't think that's what's happening, but I am starting to have my doubts. We'll see. Thanks Dweller!

roth, i can sell you a snes and 1 controller for $5, i don't have the Hook ups for it though, the thing works fine, the reset button acts a little screwy, it works but acts like it wants to stick, who really uses the reset button?

I think I never needed the reset button.

But I think I've heard something about games (don't remember well on which system) for which you have to hold reset and then POWer-off the console to have your gamestats securely saved. Just a vague memory, though... I'm really not sure.

OOO you sell that SNES yet if not I know someone who really wants it his name is me.

If it was a year or 2 ago, I would want to buy that, but I got mine for 30 with two controllers, 3 games, all hockups, and the console itself.

I think I never needed the reset button.

it's on the NES, but only for the games with batteries in them, legend of Zelda, startropics, Final Fantasy, etc. supposedly if you don't hold the reset button in when you turn the console off, the save file on the game will erase, never happened to me, i always turn off the POWer without holding in reset

Thanks for the info. I never did that with my games and none of my files got erased so far.

That was for NES Games like Final Fantasy and Dragon Warrior. I think Zelda did that as well.

Only the newer Zelda carts tell you to hold the reset button. Here's a photo comparison. Note the screw difference. Please forgive the quality. My digital camera is ancient.
