The inside of a N64 game.

In N64

I went outside to check the mail and laying on top of the mailbox was a Legend of Zelda cart. I picked it up and a ton of water came out of it. Anyway I hit it with a hammer and revealed this, the game itself:

How did it get there in the first place??

The cart would have probably been fine if you took it in and let it dry out completely before trying to use it... that is, unless it stopped working before it got drenched.

Yea I know, I thought about that but then I figured that if the water was that it had been in there a while. Plus I dont know why anyone would just leave a N64 game sitting on a mailbox if it worked.

stick the board in the N64 and see if it asplodes.

Those pins looked pretty corroded.....

I highly doubt it would have worked, even with some TLC.

You didn't see the Genesis game my cousin found in some box that was half full of water.

I had to literally scrape the green oxidization from the pins. and I had to sweep the floor when I was done.

it works.

Also, for the record, the pins aren't visible clearly enough to make any kind of judgement.

No, the pins are not corroded although the picture looks like they are. I cleaned it with a Q-tip and alcohol and tried it for a half an hour but got nothing. I thought I had it one time because the screen did that "Double flash" but stopped there.

Looks like you smashed the board with the hammer a little to hard
