NES Reader

In Hardware

Ah, my first post.

Is there a step-by-step guide somewhere that I can use to convert my 30ish NES Games to Roms for my PC?

Is there specific hardware required? If so, where can I find it?

I'm trying to do this in short order before I leave for a few months.

Thanks!

I think your best bet would be to just use some of the links in the emulation group and download NES ROMs. it'd be a huge task to build a reader for the PC for only 30 games.

In that case... is there a way to send a game off to someone to have them make a NES ROM of it?

I hate to repeat myself, but I can't see why you don't just download NES ROMs of your games from sites linked in this: thread. it costs nothing, and it's exactly the same. Unless you have some crazy rare game, of which one exists, then you probably won't find a ROM.

I also think it's ok to download the NES ROMs of your 30 games.

You have a cute avatar. Is that your cat?

Thanks, I did download some, but I have a couple that I don't see on the lists I've found. So, I was curious.

Nah, that's not my cat.. though I wouldn't mind if it was. He's got a gangsta lean going on though.

Post the list of NES ROMs you couldn't find here.
I'm sure we can help you.

Battle of Olympus
Karnov---#Edit: Just found this one
Wild- something... it's like Crystalis, WildArms? I can't remember

The only NES game I know that begins with Wild is Wild Gunman but that's nothing like Crystalis. For Battle of Olympus and just about any other NES ROM here is good:
