I hope you like this... It took me forever to get this far.

EarthBound Adventures (Mixed things from EB and EBZERO,and my imagination)
Episode 1: The Destiny of a Warrior

The date was June 12, 1991. As the sky darkened on a fateful day, a glowing meteor flew above the starry night-sky. It struck the Earth on a remote forest hill near the suburbs of Onett.
The meteor's impact caused an earthquake, scaring all of the animals and destroyed all of the trees in a 6-block radius. It set off car alarms, woke up old people, and turned up terrain. Anyway, this brought us up to the closest house near this happening.
The home of an eleven-year-old boy named Ness Ninten.

"AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!!! " Ness screamed as he fell out of is bed. "OW! What the hell was that?"
As he climbed down the stairs in P-Jays to get a drink, the phone rang.
"Hello?" He responded as he clumsily grabbed the phone.
"Hey, Ness?" It was his friend, Zack.
"Yeah, Why are you calling me at this hour?"
"Well, I wanted to check on you. That shooting star landed in your direction."
"I'm OK. Wait a second; there is something weird near my end! Never mind it disappeared."
"Well, I was wondering if you are still able to meet with us at the pizza place tomorrow."
" Yeah. OK, So I'll See 'ya then" then hung up the phone.

The next day, Ness, Zack, and the other friends of the gang were having a good time in the city. Eating pizza, playing video games, and cruising the town. As the trip came to a close, the gang started to walk home. Suddenly, a strange phenomenon occurred: A giant ghost-like
figure draped over the sky and disappeared just as quickly. Shortly after then, an earthquake rocked the up-town area of Onett. Part of a tall office building crumbled right behind Ness and friends.

"This is not good!" Ness said as he gazed at the dark orange sky. Just then, black ghosts appeared out of the buildings in the distance, and flew away, destroying everything in their path.
"One of them's heading straight toward my house! Sorry, guys I gotta go!"
Our hero ran a long distance to his house to make sure that what happened to the town didn’t happen to his home and family.
But when he got to his house, nothing seemed to be wrong. But Ness was still cautious. While slowly opening the door, he saw a shadow sweep quickly across one of the walls. It was no more caution for Ness. He burst open the door and screamed "Come out specter! I'm not afraid of you!"
He heard the reply of "Well you're home early, loudmouth!" It was the voice of his big sister, Minnie. She walked up to him. "There is such a thing as 'Hi, I'm home.' "

"Well, after what I saw, you'd be saying it too!"
Minnie glared at him. "What happened?"
Coincidently, the TV broke in with a news bulletin.
"This is Anchorman Fred Thompson of Channel 6: Onett News. There have been strange things going on in the city of Onett. We have a live reporter coming in from downtown to tell us more. George?"
When they cut to George the reporter, he was standing beside the site of the destruction.
"That's Right Fred. The phenomenon occurred just 20 minutes ago. Dark shadows and ghosts have been appearing everywhere. Parts of buildings have been breaking off: Some of which were done by the ghosts, some of which were caused by the earthquakes. We thank God no one has been reported injured yet. We believe these strange disturbances may be connected with the meteorite that landed in the suburbs last night. We just got some footage of the phenomenon from an anonymous person. Roll It."

Minnie had her eyes glued to the TV set, looking disturbed as she saw the ghosts and shadows ripping the town apart.
"Oh my god, so, this is what happened?" She said softly.
"Yeah. Pretty scary, huh. Anyway, where's Mom?"
"She went to the supermarket; she should be home in a couple of minutes."
"And Dad?"
"Where else, Genius! He's at work.”
“I’m going to call him.”
Ness picked up the phone, took the sticky note off the fridge, and dialed the number on the note. He looked particularly worried.

"Hello, PsiCorp, this is Alex, Research Analyst"
"Hi, Dad?"
"Ness! I was just about to call you! I'll be at work for a little longer than usual.”
“Oh, why?”
“Oh, I think you know. It was all over the news. Looks like some heavy paperwork is going to come in.”
“Ok, Come home safe dad.” He hung up the phone and dolefully went off into his room. Ness sat in his bean bag chair praying for his dad to get fired or something.
Ness’s father was a respected office worker at Psicorp: a psychic research facility. Ever since he got the job 5 years ago, he barely saw him at home. Things like his “overtime” speech would commonly happen. He shrugged and turned on his NES. Playing games took his mind off such things. But it would not take his mind off being thirsty, so he got up to get a soda. Touching the doorknob, he noticed the chord on his lamp twitch. He jumped, letting go of the knob. Curiously, he touched the knob again, this time a bit longer. The lamp started wiggling. He let go. The lamp did not stop shaking. It lunged at ness…

I hope you intend on adding more! To leave us in antici-

Interesting, but I ask myself why it only woke up old people...

Of course I want to read more.

yeah, I'll put up more as soon as I write it.
Iv'ed observed old people are easy to wake up.
*feigns a heart atack, and falls out of chair*

Before I read, I don't want anyspoilers, in Earth Bound (SNES), I got to the part where I take the machine to Gygas' area and my people are all robots. Everytime I try and face him, he kills my party usually with Flash or from constant beatings. Should I have seen the end of the game before reading?

Its only the first chapter in a story i'm working on. Nothing too spoiling

Gee thanks for "ruining it" for me. I just now got to the end of Threed.

And why is the kid's default name "Ness". Ugh... he's no Ness.
I name him "Denny" instead. That's perfect. The other kids are all like "Hey! Want to go to the park and play Baseball Denny?" and Denny says, "No I can't right now, I got to go ride my bicycle and deliver newspapers to some weird neighborhood where the houses are castles that try to shoot at you." Then his friends say, "Well that's okay Denny. We'll see you later at the arcade Denny."

Uh huh.

pation.

"so I'll remove the cause,

*smiles*

BUT NOT, THE SYMPTOM!"
