Who is looking forward to Zelda 2k5?

In Zelda

I want to see some more videos and Screen Shots, currently I have been trying to push video games out of my life because of how bad I have been doing in school Plus FootBall

oh i am so looking forward to it hehehe.

This game looks amazing! I have been waiting for this game since lats years E3! Just look at my IGN profile.

That game is the reason I bought my Cube last summer... it just sucks that it's taking so long to release

...

I AM!

I already pre-preordered it in Japan. I'm sure I'll have it the day it's out in Japan. Then it will take 4 days by mail to have the game in my hands.

I use to look forward to alot of games back then. I know its not gonna be a bad game but..im just not look forward to it heh.

56k? Oh man you got insider

Anyway, I like the first pic and the wolf pic, this might seem intersting to get afterall.

I don't have insider on IGN. But I do also love the wolf pic.

How did you get pics in your prof then?

How did you get pics in your prof then?

The answer is that you have to find a picture, and right click, and click properties. Then, Copy the URL. Then in you profile in your bio, put this

then the pic should pop up. Hope this helps.

I always thought anyform of HTML was forbidden to outsiders. I guess IGN was generous.

I'm looking foward to this game because after OoT, (IMO the best Zelda game) I was hoping that they would make even a better one. MM came out, it was a great game, but it wasn't OoT. Then, Wind Waker came out. The graphics weren't my fav., but I tried the game out anyway, and it (IMO) was lame. I didn't like the story line at all, and the gameplay was missing something. Anyone agree???

I wouldn't say lame, but Wind Waker was definitely too easy. I only died once throughout the whole game and that was when the friendly looking pig when mental on me after I'd slashed to a few hundred times. I recently got Majora's Mask and it reminds me what Zelda games were like when they had a bit of challenge. Hopefully the new one will be a return to form.

Yea, maybe lame isn't the word...how about...not up to the standards of what it could have been.

I wonder what the faerie's gonna be named this time...seriously, Link should get away from the faeries ASAP, they're a friggin' mini walkthrough.

Windwaker was a easy game but i liked it. Its not a game id replay more than twice though heh.

To me, Wind Waker was a down grade from OoT, and MM. I guess I was excepting more.

I thought Wind waker as a little better than MM but not quite as Oot,

Wind Waker is definitely better that Majora's Mask... at least for me.
I love Wind Waker, perhaps because I could play it together with my wife via GBA-connection?

I never used that but I still loved it

How do I go about doing that? My wife recently bought a GBA, and she wants us to pick up WindWaker. I think she'd dig it alot if we could play together, myself included!

Could you tell me what I need? Do we need the game for both GBA and GameCube? Also, I think there's a special connector from GBA to Cube, I assume that's also necessary? Thanks ahead of time!

You don't need another game, just a link cable (which unfortunately I don't have so I haven't been able to try it out). The person with the GBA plays as Tingle who according to the manual can reach places Link can't and uncover secrets.

But I have 3 connector thingies for Four Swords adventures and it is awesome.

Majora's mask was more of a side story quest, thats what made me dislike it, also there were only 4 main dungeons as compared to it's trademark of like haveing 8 or more.

it's not a side story at all, it takes place right where OoT left off, and if it weren't for the stupid time system, the game would rock almost as much as OoT.

as for having four dungeons... they're huge.... you can't complain about that.

As Daynum said, the second player can play Tingle and that's very helpful. There are places in the oceans where very strong enemies live. It's quite dangerous to sail through those. But Tingle can drop bombs on those enemies from the GBA and it only costs 10 rupees per bomb or so (don't remember the exact price). It really helps and is much fun.
You should definitely get Wind Waker and the connection cable.

I remember my freind showing me this feature. He helped me a lil and decided to be an a-hole and keep trying to bomb me in the forest dungeon

Well, for those who played OoT, if you buy the new Zelda, then you might be happy. In the new game, you can fish! For some reason, I loved to go fishing in OoT.

I also loved the fishing part. It's somehow so relaxing yet exciting...

I still wonder what's with the cats you can see in the trailer.

I liked the fishing too. I'm a sucker for minigames.

The new Zelda looks very impressive. If it's as good as it looks, it will be the second game to make me consider getting a Cube.

Much to my shame, however, I must admit that my favorite Zelda was not OoT. Or MM. You're not going to believe this, but my favorite Zelda was Link's Awakening for the Game Boy. Ocarina was definitely a better game, and on a far superior system, but there was just something about Link's Awakening...

I could not really get into Zelda L.A, I liked the fact that the jumping was better and that you could steal but the rest seemed weird. I liked Oracle of Ages, that was one frustrating game

I liked LA, but my heart is still by OoT. The story, the music, and the charcteres were the main things I loved. (also duengens, etc)

Links Awakening is one of my favourites too (but I say that about all the Zeldas ). It seemed to have more humor than the other games. I especially liked the item swap side quest that ran through the whole game, there was some funny story lines in that.

Looks like it's called "Twilight Princess" now. IGN has a new trailer up as well

L.A's enviroment seemed a bit dull to me, thats all.

Ah, the Twilight Princess. Shame it was postponed, though. I can't wait to chop of some skeleton's head on horseback. The first time I saw a picture from the game, it was Link lifting a huge rock, I said "Man who's the retard dressed up like Link? Lmao!" Then I realized there was a caption that said it was a game, so I nearly snapped my spine in the unscuccesfull backflip that followed.
