Zelda

In Zelda

I love Zelda. Its one of my all-time favorite game series. My favorites are the ones for the N64 (Ocarina of Time, And Majora's Mask). Close seconds are a link to the past for Snes, and Windwaker for GCN. As much as I like nes, Zelda 1 and 2 are my least favorites. I can;t wait for the new Zelda in 2005!

I go for Zelda 1, then 2 and then Snes version, i don't like 3D games that much and never went further then snes .

I loved the N64 Zelda's and The gamecube Zelda was a lot of fun but for my favorite all time Zelda it would have to be Zelda 1 on NES. I still remember the Christmas I received it as a gift. I don't think I've ever been so addicted to a game as I was to Zelda. And to top it off when I first opened the package and the cart was gold!!! Instant NES Nirvana...lol

Well, waddya know-- a NES site with the NES Zelda at the top of the poll! Personally, I voted for the SNES version-- I enjoyed it most, but I'm sure if I played the original more I'd enjoy that as well.

Snes version rox too, though this is a nes site and it's almost predictable that Zelda 1 would be it.

Ocarina of time is th best I've played, but I played it on my cube, on that Zelda Collector's disc deal, I haven't enjoyed what I've played of Majora's mask... the SNES one was great, I played a good portion of it when it was ported to the GBA. as for 1 and 2, I haven't played them too much, I have 2 sitting in my collection, and 1 should be arriving tonight. I guess I'll have to dedicate some time to checking them out.

Definately Ocarina of Time. Loved the storyline, gameplay, and graphics. Fighting the armored Skelos' in this game rules!

You're going to make me dig the GameCube out from under the Playstation, and DreamCast if you keep talking like that...

Bah!

Where's 'Zelda: The Wand of Gamelon'?

was that one of those lame ones for that other console that nintendo didn't want to produce games for, but had to due to some licensing thing? I think they had real live actors and stuff in them?

I could be entirely confused though.

Actually I have two on the top.
Wind Waker and A Link to the Past.
In the end I voted for Wind Waker, it's really a great game.

Did anyone play the Minish Cap already? How is it?

Very tough choice. I went for Ocarina of Time, but it was very close with Zelda I-IV. Thinking about this has reminded me just how cool the Zelda games are. I was kinda disapointed with Wind Waker. I didn't think it was a bad game, I guess it just had too much to live up to.

At the moment my favourite is OoT for N64

i voted the first Zelda, because it was my favorite game back in the early 90s, but OoT comes close behind it

i've played Minish and beaten it
well, what can i say its Zelda its just i must play
but my fav is Oot also
Then ALttP

I'll get Minish Cap later when it becomes cheaper. Perhaps they bring out a re-edition.

Ocarina of Time, hands down. (IMO) It was the best. The charcters, the music, the level design were all great! Also, at a close second, the first Zelda, MM, and LA.

I'll go with OCarina of time. I just had a lot more fun with it. The 3-D graphics made the game look much better, I especially liked useing the new weapons and armor in this game. The animation was great. Majora's mask was considered a bit short and the story did not really grap me. Windwaker, I was able to put up with the weird graphics in all but the animation to most things just seemed horrible.

A link to the Past is my favorite Zelda.

i may agree with you but its hard to think about that or oot i think they're equal in my likliness of Zelda games

This was my 2nd fav. The game was pretty hard and had a lot of puzzling challenges. I like the range of items in this game. They had a lot of useful and just fun weapons and accesseries like the invisible cape.

I just started to play LTTP again. I love that game. To me though, I like OoT better.

I would have to say a Link to the past. That was the first Zelda game I played. I thought Zelda was just an elf whith a sword and sheild but I ended up playing the game all the time getting through dungeons and beating bosses. I had it for 6 years now and I still havn't beaten it.

I would say LTTP is my all time favorite Zelda. I remember when i first got it about 6 or 7 years ago maybe 8 years ago, it kept me up from 5pm to 6 am and i was at the 5th dark world dungeon!. Such an addicting and fun game.

It's why I love it still.

I don't blame you but I was able to get past most of the puzzles. It was not till Turtle Rock in the Golden Lands that I needed a strategy guide, so close to beating the game without a guide too

I beat it with out the guide (YAY!) i feel special as a little ol'13 year old.

I've gotten to gannon's castle 5 years ago but I just got suck and died everytime. Don't feel bad. IT IS A HARD GAME!

I am just saying, I got pretty far without a guide, then I give up to the 2nd to last dungeon

I never had the guide, I found it funner to just try to solve the puzzles and I just got stuck. Now I would love the guide so I can have the thrill of beating it.

I also didn't have a guide the first time I beat it.

I still don't have a guide... and beat it over 10 times... It's still fun. Zelda 3 is a very very solid game.

It gives me alot of memories.

I haven't beat LTTP yet, but I played it until the dark world, and the nstoped for some reason. I should start playing it again.

The memory of my old game consles lose memory all of the time so I have to start over 24/7.

That happened to my Super Mario All Stars, and Super Mario World. It sucks.

what like battery dies thats inside so it can't save. I know someone who can fix that.

Yep, once I've beaten Super Mario 3 on All stars, it easrased the memory .

Yep, once I've beaten Super Mario 3 on All stars, it easrased the memory .

Ive had that happen ALOT on my sNES Games. I always kept wondering why my data would erase itself

That happend 4 times on my Super Metroid game. The memory card was prett weak, say I were playing SM and then my freind would trip over a wire, the memory would be lost.

My SNES is just getting old.

You just need to replace the battery in the memory cards of game. The Memory cards live for about 10 yrs.

there are no memory cards, game saves are saved on the actual cartridge.

I went to my local Gamestop, and they said that you can't replace memory batteries from NES, and SNES Games, but my friend said you could. I'm confused

Thats what I meant, memory batteris. Also GS lied, call the number on the back of a NES or SNES cartridge, they will replace the battery for you.

Of course you can replace the batteries. If you have the right "screwdriver" you can even do this by yourself.

HAH! i am so anti technician that id probably just end up making the game stop working!.

Really? Cool. I know you have to pay for shipping, but I would like my all star game working. Thanks.

w00t. Ocarina pwnz!!! I loved that one the most because the storyline wasn't annoyingly similar to it's predecessors, as started happening in every one after that. (Three original green, blue, and red things to get, then a slew of elemental things to get, several temples, break seal, kill Ganon...) It was only viewed as a 3D modification of A Link to the Past... at least, that's how I viewed it. So, lacking redundancy and having a never - boring gameplay, It's always been my favorite. Zelda is t3h aw3som3 in general though.
