Who remembers "Zombies Ate my Neighbors"?

In SNES

I loved that game when I was little. Hours of fun. Did anyone else ever play this game?

Yes, i played it everyday, i always died on that level with giant worms or whatever they are.

I remember completing it, and I played it again just a few weeks ago. it's a pretty good game.

Yea, I use to have it, but...don't know where it went. The name makes you think..."this game sucks", but the game is really fun.

I have heard of it but never played it

I also played it sometimes and it's really quite good.

I've honestly never played it. Always heard of it, though. What kind of game is it? I've always been curious, but never Googled or anything.

You run around with your freaky looking character and shoot yombies with your gun. Nothing special. Playability is good.

I beg to differ. While the gameplay wasn't that original, the personality of the game was what set it apart. The whole game was very tongue-in-cheek. (giant baby, anyone?) The development team obviously had a lot of fun making it, and that's something I prize in a game. Furthermore, the credits level was brilliant.

Oh heck yes!
Many a day of my early(ish) years was spent playing this.
And with a name like that, how could it be bad?

Just went to my friends house to play 2 player with him. Brought back memories... Also, Roth, you are just a person with a water gun, and going shooting zombies. You can get other wepons, and upgrades. Also, some of the boards have great design. Also, you have to save your neighbors in each level.

Who can forget this come on just think about it. I just bought it for a dollar with box , no instructions but inserts.

The two player was phenomenal. How did anybody EVER beat it, though? I was always ready to kill something by the time I finally beat a boss. That "Invasion of the Snakoids" level was hellish. I finally got to the final boss, I almost broke a controller. I remember I ALMOST beat him, couldn't, and decided to wait until the next day.

The next day, however, my idiot brother lost my paper with the passwords on it. %$*@!

I only could beat it on the emulator.

I can beat it easily with two players. The game rocks.

I always lost patience getting lost fighting giant ants !

Yea, I also hate the gaint baby.

This game is on the genesis also!

My brother has it on both .

Would you rather play on Gen or SNES?

Haven't played the SNES version, but with a lot of the multiplatform games I preferred the genesis version, especially with Battletoads vs. Double Dragon.

That was a pretty sweet brawler. The first one I played, at a friends house. We wasted a couple hours playing it. Then we played ZAMN. Man, I miss co-op games. Why are there so little nowadays?

Speaking of co-op, is a new Gauntlet coming out or what? I've just heard brief blurbs about it.

I grew up with it on Genisis, so I would say that, but if I bought it again, I would buy it for my SNES. I need to build up my colletion.

yeah that game was great took me like seven hours to beat it (save up all my pandora boxes for Dr.Tounge heh hhe )

Hmm...

Have you guys ever try the sequel ?

yeah man the genesis was good but having the information on the side was annoying with less space on the screen. Snes has info on top and ya press L and R to bring out the radar.

Sequal? What sequal? A sequal to Zombies?! Gimme, gimme, gimme!

well its not call Zombie ate my neighbors 2 its called "ghoul patrol"
you still have Zeke and Julie (Except Zeke now wheres the red cap and
Julie wears a black leather outfit) and now insted of starting with water guns
Zeke has a water lauching canon and Julie has a crossbow. IT only came out for the Super nes. Sprites are bigger and a couple of changes to the system
You can jump now. there is no more radar youll see crys for help coming your way so you know where to go. I think victims do not die anymore then what's even more harder now you have to find the exit your self after you save everybody. I only made it to stage 3 where no they added traffic to the streets. Try it out its pretty cool.
