Remember when Nintendo was everywhere?

I remember eating SMB cereal.
Watching SMB TV.
SMB lunchboxes

EVERYTHING!

I guess Halo themed cereal wouldn't be a good idea.

Ah, yes, the good old days....
I believe Nintendo merchandising is still big in Japan, but in the west it is practically none exsistent (especially here in the U.K)
I am guessing maybe Nintendo isn't a big a force in the west as it was back then.

I live in the united states, and I have like 6 Nintendo T-Shirts.

There's still plenty of video-game-related "non-game merchandise" out there.
I saw Mario underwear in the children's section at some mall chain store recently.
(I wasn't buying of course.)

I went to a couple of those Hot Topic places when I was in LA and they have a ton of Nintendo merchandise. A cool shop I thought, but I know a lot of Americans hate it. I guess it's the sort of chain that sells the same stuff all over the country so there's loads of people walking around wearing the same stuff. As David said Nintendo merchandise isn't found in the UK anymore so my "Hammer Time" t-shirt (with mario holding a hammer) is completely unique here. The only shirt I've seen on sale here is the "know your roots" one.

Man i completely miss those days. I guess new gen gamers are all about the playstations and the x boxes and blah blah its sad. Not that there bad. Just wish NINTEDO was on top again like it use to be.

...and I have to live in the mid-west. I'd love to visit a solely Nintendo store. My wife is always dragging me into the Disney Store in Champaigne. That'd be awesome to have a place like that! Maybe one of these days I'll get to visit the place.

There was never much Nintendo merchandise here in Germany. I remember some alarm clocks and keychains, but definitely no cereal.

I did see a t shirt today that said "Let's play doctor" and then underneath in small letters "mario" pure hilarity!
