Games with Label Damage

In Games

Do you guys buy games that have label damage or do you pass on them?

Label damage or anything like that just doesn't bother me at all. A lot of people want to make sure their games look perfect, but I'm more of a gamer than a collector. I just make sure the games work. If they do, I'm all about getting them if I don't have them already. Here's an example:

That label damage does nothing to how the game plays, so I don't mind a bit

Any other stuff doesn't bother me either. Markers, stickers... I can get rid of that stuff if I feel like it.

Label or no label. no matter to me.

I'll take label damage, if I see another with a better label I'll just "upgrade" and sell or trade the old one.

As long as it works it's fine by me. I'm more of a gamer than a collector. Obviously, if it's in good condition then that's a bonus.

I if its REALLY bad, like marks everywhere, corn surop on the connectors, and a horrible label, ill mainlyt pass, because thats about 70 q-tips.
(PS. i didnt turn down that Bomberman because of the nlabel damage. The shipping would cost too much)

if it looks anything like Roth's Megaman, then hell no unless its really rare or valuable, or i really want it. Mint games please
the idea behind this is, if its rare or i want it, there may be a copy down the road in which i can upgrade to. if it's common why not wait for a mint one

Only if its a NES game, or N64. Don't care about any other type of cart.

majority of my games come from thrifts, garage sales, and goodwills. A lesser amount come from gamestores, and i've only bought about 15 games on ebay (that i wanted)

same goes for me.

These are the worst 2 I've got. If you can see enough of the label to tell what the game is I'm happy. The only NES game I ever bought that I couldn't get to work looked pristine so looks can be deceiving.

If possible I try to find games in good condition with box.

Games I really want are ok without box.

A game with damaged label I'd buy would have to be very cheap and I'd have to want it very much.

Daynum, I applaud you.

By the way, I'm not searching for one, but if you happen to run across a copy of Probotector (since you're in that neck of the woods), let me know. I'd like to have a copy of that and make it my first NES PAL game

If I really want the game label damage is fine . What gets me is rental store sticker residue especially the nones that say void.

By the way, I'm not

I'll keep an eye open for one but to be honest none of the places I used to get NES Games sell them anymore. I have to travel quite a distance to get to markets that have them so don't see them in the wild very often.

That annoys me too. I used to get a lot of games at Cash Converters and they have these crappy stickers that are a nightmare to get off. It was impossible to get them off boxes without damaging the cover.

if annyone ever finds Genesis Probotector u gotta tell me.
