Castlevania question. (about the old games for the NES)

In Castlevania

I have Castlevania II:Simon`s Quest, and love it, and have beaten it many times. Are any other CV's for the NES worth picking up? Thanks.

Get the original 'Castlevania' and 'Castlevania III: Dracula's Curse' for NES.
They're both great side-scrolling action games, but are a lot more linear than 'Castlevania II: Simon's Quest'.

'Castlevania II' is the only "adventure" game in the series on the NES. The other other two titles still have primarily the same game play elements (although much better "boss fights" than CV2).

yeah i thought so too and i never had the patience to play thru Simons Quest

Yeah, in my opinion their all awesome. Try to up each one, but their kind of rare...

kinda how i am right now. But I'm going to find a way to want to.

Yup get all of the nes ones. Castlevania 1 is my favorite of them all though.

I liked Simins Quest. It was nice going around a small town, and then fighting.

That and ing parts of Dracula's body.

Castlevania I and III are very cheap as far as good games go, even on eBay, so I strongly suggest picking them up. Castlevania I is extremely difficult, and Castlevania III, although not as hard, still isn't a cakewalk.

Castlevania III, although not as hard, still isn't a cakewalk.

This isn't the first time I've heard this. My skill just must suck at III because for me, it's harder than 1.

I have beaten the 1st one but i got to Dracula on the 3rd, and he kicked my ass.

I can't remember if I've beaten any old school Castlevanias. I can never get the hang of it, like I can with Ninja Gaiden.

I'm the same way bro.

Sorry, maybe this is a stupid question, but everytime I see a post from "an administrator" it's always edited into that: "...".

Strange...

That was dwellerofrhymes/Paco Belmondo. For some reason, he thought it'd be a good idea to go back and edit out all of his posts. No reason for it either... it makes the conversations look ridiculous sometimes.

He must have been really bored the day he decided to edit 350 of his posts. Must have taken time.

Yeah... Shame, that. I sometimes like going over abandoned threads, and that can make it hard to read. Besides, I like Paco, and I liked his posts.

That's kinda stupid if you ask me...

Let me guess, he got angry at the people here because he was banned and then decided to edit all his posts? I really didn't catch what happened to him...

I don't think he was banned, I think he was just bored.
