The Adventures of Bayou Billy NES Review - The Adventures of Bayou Billy

Quite simply, this game was ahead of it's time. This came out at a time when not many games had more than one aspect of playability to them. With this cart you get not one, not two, but three styles of games in one!

The first style of gaming you encounter is the "beat-em up." It's Double Dragon style, and very difficult. There are also stages where you shoot with the light gun. If you don't have a light gun, there is a crosshair alternative that you use with the conrtroller. There are also driving parts. Three-in-One, I love it!

The controls work rather well in this game, although the driving stage controls are a bit clunky and hard to use at times. If you get a chance to play this, do it, don't let the degree of difficulty get you down. The ending music to this is one of the most smooth NES ending music themes I've ever heard!
