ok to get that key you need to drop the spehere into the water and make it turn into ice and then you can grab the key. after that don't forget to grab the sphere again. oh yeah to get the sphere if you don't have it already place one of the stones (i believe its the red one) into the little hole on the wall in the room that leads to the fire breathing thing. contact me if you need further help. this is the nes game i have the best memories of. i remember playing this game and being so intrigued by it. i can honestly say that this game along with it's 2 brother games (uninvited and deja vu) were the best times for me back in the day when i was around 9 or 10. i still love them, and i recently bought most of my favorite nes and snes games complete with all original packaging. i can beat this game in about 27 minutes flat.
this is an amazing game and it will always hold a special place in my heart and when my son gets old enough he will feel the magic like i did.
