Castlevania III NES Review - Vampire Killing! Oh Happy day!!

by MI64 on Thursday, July 19, 2001
This is the prequel to the first Castlevania released on the NES. You play as Trevor Belmont, an ancestor of the famous Simon Belmont. The destiny of the Belmont clan is to stop evil whenever it arises. You must infiltrate Dracula's castle and destroy him.

This game is just incredible for the NES. You can choose multiple routes through the game to get to Drac, you can choose from three different allies to help you (Sypha the wizard, Grant the Thief, Alucard Drac's son.) You have all the cool special weapons from the first Castlevania too. The graphics are some of the best you'll find on the NES and the music is great and seems to fit every level perfectly. Definitely a classic and worth the download! 5/5
