Blaster Master NES Review - One of the Reasons the NES was so popular

by Ironman on Wednesday, October 9, 2002
The NES had many classics. This was one of them. The basic idea was that a boy was chasing his pet frog when he fell into a tunnell that lead to an alien invasion deep underground. He finds a high teck tank (sweet) and uses it to combat the evil forces.

What made this game so outstanding was that the challenge was intense. There were times that you could be so overwhelmed in the difficulty that you may cry. IF you do you are weak and need to be beaten.

However for anyone who looked at an early Nintendo Power advertisment that came with literally every single NES game there was a trick to win. On even leveled bosses (2,4,6,8) uses the bomb weapon (B) and when it hits pause. Then leave the room for like 5-10 minutes and then unpause and the boss is beat.
