The magazine ads for this game did not lie, Battletoads was awesome in my book. The control and gameplay are spot-on when many NES games of this type don't do too well. Nice, colourful graphics, and lots of innovation. The first boss is fun, since you actually see from the enemy's point of view. Every level offers something a little different - very much like Earthworm Jim meets Ninja Turtles. Cool.
