Halp!

In Off-topic

I just had to redo my computer, and I'm trying to install flash now. Unfortunately, Macromedia's auto-install doesn't seem to be working for me. Does anyone have a link to a manual install?

Dammit, I get a "Cannot find server" screen. What the hell is wrong with my computer?!

Thanks, though. I'll see if it works tomorrow.

DNS issue likely, call yo' ISP and tell 'em you need some alternate DNS severs.

Awright, I'll do that.

Yeah, "Halp!" indeed.
If someone could PM me with instructions on how to "redo" my computer (I had a virus eat part of my program and it stole some files for .wav sounds, etc), I'd appreciate it. Or point me to a link that tells me how to do it..the Microsoft website is a hellish labyrinth.
I'm running Windows 98SE. There's nothing wrong with the hard drive, I just need to purge the old program and redo it. I've got the Win98SE disc. Thanks..

Step 1: back-up important files.

Step 2: insert 98SE CD and reboot

Step 3: Follow prompts. (always do a full format and clean install, never install over the old OS)

Step 4: restore backups after installing .

Thanks. I'll get on this right away...it's screwing up my emulator (it worked fine for awhile, but all of a sudden, it started complaining that a sound file was missing).
