Working out

In Off-topic

Do any of you guys work out? Just curious. If so, what do you do, and do you have a routine? Here is my current routine that I just started yesterday. Granted, I have been jogging a mile every day and doing sit ups and push ups, I just got my weight bench recently.

Crunches- 25reps/3sets
Calf raises- 25 reps/3 sets
Bench press- 8 reps/3 sets/35 lbs
Squat- 8 reps/3 sets/35 lbs
Dumbbell bench press- 10 reps/3 sets/15 lbs
Bent over rowing- 8 reps/3 sets/15 lbs
Barbel curl- 10 reps/3 sets/20 lbs
Close-grip bench press- 12sets/3 sets/35 lbs

Meh, not really a routine, but I do walk everywhere and eat healthily.

150 push ups daily.

Yes i do!! I have a Weider 400 weight bench ( it comes with changable dumbell weights a bench press station and a leg curler. Havent been using it because of my broken wrist but when i did use it i would do:

Bench press- 15 reps/2 sets/35 lbs
Dumbbell bench press- 15 reps/2 sets/20 lbs
Barbel curl- 15 reps/2 sets/20 lbs
2 Leg curl- 15 reps/2 sets/40 lbs
Left Leg curl- 15 reps/2 sets/30 lbs
Right Leg curl- 15 reps/2 sets/15 lbs (because of my bad knee)
Laying down leg curl- 15 reps/2 sets/30 lbs

i go up and down the stairs 3 or 4 times a day

How long have you been doing this and do you have good results?

Well since last Christmas... so for like 6 months and yes i have been getting good results. Not only do i have more visible muscles (which is good for the ladies) i have overall more strength. I forget to say that i also do 12-14 pullups a day, they are very challenging... Do you have a way to get pics of your set posted? Ill post mine then.

Heh, mine isn't much man, it's just a simple weight bench with weights, the bar, and dumb bells. I'm just starting. My 1st day was yesterday, and my legs are sore. I think I may have did too much on my legs. Those squats made me sore. My upper body is fine, but my thighs are sore. I could barely jog the mile this morning.

Well, I got my own routine, I do 70 push-ups two times daily, so that'll be 140 push-ups daily, pluss I do a lot of "working out" in the karate training. Like sit ups, push-ups, training with sticks or "bos", kicks, punches and fighting.

You guys are all so sporty... are you really gamers? You don't fit into the cliches!

I don't have a daily routine. I do some push-ups or sit-ups when I feel so. (And I don't often feel so...)

Well, I think I overdid it on squats. I should have started with 15 lbs instead of thirty. My legs are fucking killing me. I havent even been able to jog. Ive soaked myself in hot baths and stretch here and there to relax my inner thigh muscles. I have my routine today, but I think I will skip the squats till I heal up completely.

Man, I used to work out when I was in the Marine Corps, but I kind of slacked off from that when I hurt my wrist wrestling. I just never got back into it yet. My father gave me all his weights when he moved to Idaho (along with those records), so I have ALL these steel weights, regular/curl/tricep bars, weight bench, and squat racks.

I'm hoping to get the urge to get back into it soon, but right now it all takes up space in our bedroom

I am glad I got into working out. It makes me feel SO good. Not to mention it impresses the ladies I'm not a fat guy, but I am a stick. That means it will be easier for me to tone up being that my body fat isn't so much.

You've been doing it for one day, and that's impressing ladies?

I can bet that "SO good" really means "SO sore" too...

Well, I have been jogging, doing push ups, crunches, and leg lifts for 3 months now. I have nice results with doing that. Not to mention playing drums helps me out alot as well.

If you call workout, "eating a healthy dinner at a chinese restraunt, and playing 5 games of DDR on Heavy mode to work it all off."

I actually saw someone on the news a while ago that lost tons of weight by playing that game non stop at home. I figure it would give you seizures after long-term play with all those flashing lights.

I do many many more 5 Full games of 5 Heavy songs a day.

Not many have that much free time.
