Friendship Question.......

In Off-topic

That's a trust issue between him and her, something they need to discuss. But I can say right now that it's not going to go well, there will be much fighting.

I'm sort of the same way with my girlfriend (Roll on the forums) as she is with your friend. Although I know it's unfair to her, and I don't prevent her from having friends, I do ask that she introduce them to me and that sort of thing. You know, don't exclude me from get-togethers.

I agree, there most be some kind of trust issue between them.
However, it is unreasonable for her to expect him to cease his friendship with you. She must be insecure or jelous. Friendships between members of the two opposite sexes are very common and just because a man and woman are friends doesn't mean there are underlying sexual desires or what not. She just needs to realise this. Maybe if she were to meet/talk to you it would put her mind at ease. And, correct me if i'm wrong here, but you are married, and i doubt you would really have an affair as you married your husband for a reason (i.e you love him) AND he must love her as he married her! she is beiing totally unreasonable.

Just go and meet the girl one time. Visit the pair together with your husband and go out to dinner on a double date or so. It's fun and the jealous woman will probably realise that there is nothing to be jealous about.

I talked to my friend today and he said that part of the reason (at least what he could get out of her) was that it was because he has know me for so long (she's only known him I guess for about 4 years). She refuses to meet me! This furthers my concept that she is a complete lunatic. I guess another reason is that a couple years ago I went to visit him at work (I used to go to the Dr.'s office right next door) and she was annoyed that all his coworkers were badgering him for my phone number (she worked with him and was only dating him at the time). And just to prove my theory she is a lunatic, he told me while they were dating he dumped her, and she refused to be dumped. They were watching LOTR and he just blurted out he didn't want to go out with her and she said, "No, you don't know what your talking about. Your not dumping me". and continued to watch the movie (and wouldn't leav mind you)!!! WTF?! Poor guy probably ended up marrying her because she wouldn't leave! (lol).

It sounds like that episode of seinfeld all over again. I'd say she's possesive. Is she that much of a lunatic?

At least it was funny in Seinfeld
