Why o why o why?

In Modern Systems

Main themes probably include -

Glamorising violence.
Prostitution.
Guns.
Ho's.

Sorry. I fail to see the need for this game.

Oh man. More ghetto games

Ugh. Thats all I have to say.

I thought the "Games" Section was for NES Games.....

Ah, yes, probably is. Sorry Mods.

"G Unit" ?

I wonder whose idea this one was.

What slightly perturbs me is that they'll probably make a profit off of this crap game.

as soon as i saw

"50 Cent"

I closed it quickly, for fear of regurgitating on my keyboard. Like we need another GTA, and a franchise from

"50 Cent"

Where the hood at.

Everyone I know that likes 50 cent, or rap ingeneral wants this game. I guess people like what them like

Sigh, I smell GTA engine all over again.

Another game mankind doesn't need... That's just my 50cen... 2 cents.

thats funny. I guess rap stars have 100% taken over. first the music charts, then acting, then clothing and cosmeticts. and now... the games. I say we just vote Tony Yayo into the white house and call it quits.

Yeah, that was my bad, sorry.

I am glad to see that i'm not the only person who saw this game as needless. But, no doubt it'll make a lot of money

G-U-NOT

hehe all or everyone at school except like a few people are all like Gangstas , and i make fun of them with GGGG U N IT

What can I say...?
This idea is pure gold! A cash cow in the making. The kids are gonna love it!

Think about it. Vivendi Universal has ties with Def Jam Recordings. It works as cross-marketing. More money for both sides.

You take a trendy game style, rip it off - throw in a hoard of racial gangsta stereotypes (so the kids will know what's cool) - give it an overcommercialized provide the cliched game with an equally cliched soundtrack - then have him perform at next year's Spike TV Video Game Awards show, when the game itself get's nominated for "Video Game of the Year" by Spike TV fans (handly beating out 'Twilight Princess').

It's brilliant! They must of thought about this idea for at least one whole day!
Congrats to the millions they'll milk from this one!

...

By the way, I WON'T be buying/playing.

Same here. This game just seems really pointless. I thought C.J. Johnson (GTA:SA) had the "gangsta" stuff covered? ...I bet they made this game FOR 50 Cent, so he could go play it, kill someone on it, and make ANOTHER song about how "gangsta" he is. lol, he'll make money on the game and the crap song he'll make about it.

No doubt it WILL make a fortune. It will get a lot of s**t from the anti violent video games groups/leagues as well.

LOL. Yup basicly, only now this game targets the demographic of gangstas. And makes them think "whats cool and hip". Im glad alot of us here were playing games BEFORE they got main stream so we know what a good game is and what AWFUL STUPID dumb idea "50 cent bullet proof is" Ugh it just makes me so sick.

holy crap this is like a speech , its so nicely written and its just so awesoime.

Hopefully they'll do the same thing they did to 50 cent, shoot it.

Except this time, with a colt .45 so we don't suffer.

GTA series is great, the clones are not, GTA is fun, where the clones are just stupid... but alot of kids dig the whole "hardcore" crap, until they experience the REAL streets.

Yeah, but middle class white boys will buy it to look "cool"

Some people really do like the music. Some of my friends like 50 cent, but they aren't what you think. I think this game is to appeal to a certain crowd. People who like his music, or Rap/GTA, might pick up this game. I'm not going to judge it until I play it (if I play it).

Some people do genuinely like it, but there are others who pretend to like it to look "cool" like some people I know.
It seems like a needless game but it will appeal to some.

I don't understand how you can "Genuinely"Like 50 Cent. What am i missing here?

Aaaaa...whats that one word.....hmmm.....o yea, its called your own opinion

Anyways, some people just like that kind of style. Maybe people who like 50 cent/rap would say the same thing to you if they heard what music you like. Anyways, thats my 2 cents...I mean my 50 cents .

Still don't get it.... And thats THREE (3) Words by the way

I don't understand why you assume it'll be bad. It's not like making video games is hard, or actually involves work. His agent told him all about how his celebrity buddies are going into video games. Like that Halle Berry chick in that Catwoman game. The kids dug that, right?

The more I think about it, the more I'm piecing this together.

Does anyone here ever listen to the radio? On the way to work, or classes, or anywhere? You know how they always play the same music, and it's pretty much shoved down your throat? That's what I think this is all about. Since gaming has gotten popular with different people, we're starting to see gaming and pop-culture mix. Not only is gaming a part of pop-culture, but now it's taking parts of pop-culture, and intertwining with it. Not to say that pop-culture hasn't always been in video games (i.e. wrestling games), but now there's just a lot more of it.

So pretty much I think it's like hearing crap on the radio. The good part is that we aren't forced to purchase said games

YES the farkin radio station here is horrible. I wish we had a classic rock station. Not a nickelback station.
