Which do you like more?

In Hardware

As already asked in the SNES thread, here again with NES.
Which design do you like more?

The Japanese Famicom design?
Or the Western version?

I've never played a famicom but I have to say that it looks so much cooler. The western NES looks dull in comparison. Good job the games it plays are anything but dull and that's what counts.

I also like the Famicom more. It looks so cute.

Definately the North American/European style. I just can't picture the NES in any other way. I even like the front-loader design better than the top-loader, only because the front-loader was designed with RCA connectors.

The Famicom was released with RCA connectors on a later revision of the console.

OK... but I was just comparing which of the two North American versions I liked the most when I made that statement. I like the North American FRONT-Loader design the best between that and the Famicom, and I like the Front-Loader design better than the top-loader... not to say I don't want a top-loader, however...

I voted for the Front loader as well, it just looks nice and clean when it's all closed up.

Same here, frontloader,i don't a toploader yet but i gets dusty doens't it?

If you take care, it doesn't become too dusty.
The pins are covered by a plastic panel (same as SNES).

front loader!!
