Icons - Sega Dreamcast Episode.

In General Gaming

I just came across an episode of Icons which had the rise and fall of DreamCast. I found the episode on Google Video.

Enjoy!

I saw that a while back on G4TV i can still remember buying The Sega Sports Dreamcast at Target and playing Super Runabout that one was alot of fun.

Awesome video . I really wish the dreamcast could have stood its ground against PS2... Its kind of sad the way it died, however I will always love the dreamcast.

I remember when I bought mine and popped in Soul Caliber for the first time. Me and my buddy were absolutely amazed at the graphics .

Soul Calibr is still comparable graphically to current games. Soul Calibur 2 was less of an upgrade than I expected. In fact, I prefer the DC version.

I didn't mean the as a comparison to how graphics are now. I meant it to show how much of a "Giant leap for gamer kind" they made with that game/system.

I also still prefer the DC version

I love my 2 Dreamcasts, too.
Soul Calibur is great on that. I still know how amazed I was when I saw it in a store display back then.

It's really sad that it died so fast. There could have been a lot more great games on that system until today.
I wonder what type of console Sega would have made hadn't they given up manufacturing consoles.

Chaos Field: Released Winter 2004
Trizeal: Released Spring 2005

There are at least 3 other commerical releases in the works, but I can only think of Radilgy off the top of my head.

The DC is much less "dead" than everyone thinks...

Trizeal Pwns n00bs.

"Icons"

The only good* show left on G4TV.

DreamCast will never be "dead" to me. Why do the words "dead" and "DreamCast" always appear together so often? It's annoying. There are several "dead" systems. Anyway, worth watching if you have the time.
There was an episode dedicated to NES also. I have a recording of it. Might consider uploading it if another one doesn't show up.

That isn't so much my idea of "a lot" of games...
I was hoping for more great RPGs.
