Yoshis Debut

In Games

Anyone remember his very very very first appernce before he got popular. I sure do it was Super mario world , level 2 in that ? box. . Ahh the memoires

Yeah, Yoshi was so cute. It was love on the first sight.
Yoshi's voice actor is great I think.

I hate Yoshi . I spent like $40.00 on the dumbest game I've ever played, in others words: Yoshi's Cookie.

I think Yoshi's Cookie was the game Yoshi debuted in.

heh. Yoshi's cookie was the coolest.. And Ninjagaiden 4005 i love your avatar.

That's not Yoshi's fault.

I didn't find that game so bad. It's not my alltime favourite, but it's a nice game.

Thanks man. I take it also your a lufia fan? Its one of my fav RPG series , currently im enjoying the GBC lufia called lufia the legend returns or something

icky....

I can't stand Yoshi's Cookie. My wife used to bounce back-and-forth playing that and Wario's Woods for NesterDC. I kind of like Wario's Woods, but the other game is just excrutiatingly boring to me. It's a bit too simple to be any fun as a puzzle game.

No, Yoshi made its debut in Super Mario World.

No, Yoshi made its debut in Super Mario World.

I thought the same as _NRG_, then I did some research, and Yoshi's Cookie, and even Yoshi came out after SMW.

Well it was a NES game so I assumed it came out before SMW aswell, hehe. Yea, I seriously did not like Yoshi's cookie, the concept was to simple minded, I think they preyed on the fact that it was a game staring Yoshi to make it popular.

Replace Yoshi with any nintendo character, thats essentially their angle nowadays. Not to say the games don't suck, but they aren't half as adventurous as far as games go anymore. That and I have yet to see another Punchout.

I named my pet Siamese fighting betta "Yoshi". It's short for "Yoshimitsu", so it's actually named after the Soul Calibur/Tekken character due to his "fighting" tendencies.
It's crazy! When I approach the bowl, Yoshi's gills will flare up and it'll look like he wants to kill me. But how? Betta's have no teeth. How do they fight and KILL?
I wonder.

Of course, this really has nothing to do with the rest of the topic.

I think that Yoshi made his NES debute on "Yoshi" or for Europe, "Mario & Yoshi".
