In Games

i am a beat digger,and i have been hunting down original samples for years,but one which is still a big mystery is from RAEKWON-''GLACIERS OF ICE''. there have been people saying it was sampled from a video game,and it does sound like a video game melody,but nobody knows what game. can anybody here help identify what game it is from? i included the song below ...let know if you have any leads. thanks

Sorry man, I can't make any games out of that. It may be from a more recent game that I haven't played, though. I honestly couldn't tell you.

The closest thing I can come up with is one of the background music tracks from 'World of Illusion' for the Sega Genesis. I don't have a sample from that game, and I'm not sure if a GYM set of it exists. That's all I can tell.
