Welcome to the new forums. phpbb3. The conversion to YAF-- yet another forums-- was a bad decision. Many people didn't like it. When I went to move it to another server, I had issues and ended up losing the database(a bug in YAF itself destroyed it, actually). So... I found the last version of the forums on phpbb, and inserted that here-- better than having no data... The messages since the last conversion and now were lost(along with new users, etc.)... But, I'll be sticking with phpbb3 for now. Enjoy-- I'll see about modifying the skins or whatever when I get the time, but it should all be functional now. Thanks.

From my experience, phpBB3 looks great and has a lot of nice features. There are some excellent mods out there for it too (such as "signature display once per page" and the chatroom and arcade mods).

The downside is that it is very time-consuming and confusing trying to edit the foum themes and templates.

This is definitely an improvement. I would like to see this forum return to the traditional green/grey look though. It's the classic NES Files style.

EDIT: There's also a way to get profile panel and avatars to show up on the traditional LEFT side instead of right. It seems most people don't like it on the right.

Yeah. And the avatars on the right is bull shit.

I would be willing to design a new phpBB theme if Derek would accept it.

Fixing the avatars are just a simple template edit, changing the alignment.
