Hey, if you have an IRC client, go ahead and join #nes_files on Efnet. This was just started, so it should be fun. If you're clueless to what I'm talking about, post here.

sweet! i'll check it out

Wasn't this done before (or am I thinking about something else)?

Either way that's cool.

You must be thinking of something else Jenni. This is the first time we've started a room in IRC for NES Files. Anyway, like I said... when you guys get a chance pop on in

hmmm im new to this whole IRC thing. I see alot of efnet servers with different states and what not, witch one is it specifically?

EDIT:Oh wait. I found it now, heh.

I also never tried irc yet.
Maybe I'll install it next week when I'm home again.

Low flying airplane. I have no idea what an Irk or an Effnet is.

I think the plane has crashed. Second on the clueless list.

does that help?

That helps nicely.

Yes, indeedy. Helps a lot. I may run it for the trial period.

Alright, everyone who's using mIRC... make sure when you boot it up, you click on the area to the left that says "Servers." Select an EFNET server near you (ie US, IL would be my case). Then join #nes_files. If you go to another server besides Efnet, you're in the wrong room.

Or you can use a free client.

Or you can use a free client.

the trial doesn't work. after 30 days you have to wait about 5 seconds before you can click continue . and the only thing registering does is password the screen name you use so noone else can use it. i think the 30 day trial is just there to scare you into paying for it

Registering a nick isn't a feature of the IRC client. that's part of the network.

i didn't know that . but either way, the "free trial" never stops

Hey cool, does anyone use this? I logged on for a while and noone was on.
