The Turtles are da bomb!!!! But on to the review. For those who have played TMNT3 and TMNT2, you should know that TMNT3 is much better than TMNT2. One of the newest (and probably the best) things on the 3rd game of the TMNT NES series(besides the improved graphics, variety in the turtles, more versions of the foot ninjas, and tougher levels) is the fact that you can kill a foot ninja with regular attacks without all the worry of having to dodge their counterattack. Plus, now the turtles each have their own desperation move (I said desperation because they drain your life). The gameplay is like that of TMNT2, but better, and the controls are simple and easy to learn. You can also switch turtles during the game, so you'll have the right turtle in every situation, but with one downside: you have to die to do so!!! Now, to the bad things. Although the music is great, it sounds as though this game was supposed to be TMNT2's original soundtrack! Also...wait, that's the only bad thing, the music?...Ok, got it Leo! Sorry 'bout that. Anyway, very addicting game!
Oh, and for those who don't know this, press this quickly at the main menu: Up x2, Down x2, Left-then-right x2, A, B, Start. You'll get a good surprise. "What is it?" Mad Dog from Contra asks. "I'm not telling you!" Tiz says. You'll have to find out yourself...hehe...
