Mike Tyson's Punchout NES Review - The legend among boxing games!

I loved this game when I was little. This game, I believe, started the fame of boxing video games. Very nice graphics, variations with the opponents, and great way of making Mike Tyson so difficult (he actually can KO an opponent within the first half of the first round. I know! I've seen him box before and MTPO shows you just how hard he punches!!! I've also seen him before in real life when I was 5, met him, shook his hand, had him sign my copy of MTPO, it was the best! He also lived in my hometown, Cleveland, Ohio! Oops, sorry, got carried away...hehe...but this all is true by the way. Seriously!!! I don't lie about meeting celebrities). The replay value on this game is off the charts, plus it provides some humor to it (watching Glass Joe get knocked down still cracks me up to this day). Luckily, there's a password system because the game is that difficult. Unfortunately, the strategy to winning gets somewhat repetitive: dodge and punch, and an occasional block when necessary, and you'll win hands down. But the variety in opponent's boxing style makes that strategy tough to pull off. This game is great and covers up a lot of downsides with spectacular upsides. Very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very fun game!
