Another Konami shooter masterpiece, Gradius is fun for fans of the genre. It may even make a fan of the genre (it did me). NES limits considered, it's a pretty good port of the arcade game Nemesis (as it was called in the US), and it's fun as hell to blast up the Bacterions. Take hold of your Vic Viper (or Warp Rattler) and blast-off! An all-time classic.
PS Fun Fact: The NES version of Gradius was re-released in arcades alongside other NES hits as "Vs. Gradius".
