Excitebike was one of the first releases on the NES and when I compare it to the other games released at the time it is the best. The track editer was amazing. One of the top 20 NES games ever.

Excitebike rocks.. Sure the game is real old but it still rekindles those early days of Motorbike mayhem. You can also make your own tracks and if your clever enough, some become quite addictive. Hit the strips and pick up speed, do a pullback on the bike, make someone fall over and winning sure does make Excitebike exciting stuff. I give this game 10/10. Reviewed by Saq

No, no ,no, it ain't bad. For Christmas in 2004 (this year, just 5 days away,) I'm getting an NES with Super Mario Bros., Donkey Kong, Xevious, Dr. Mario, Mario Bros., Pac-Man, Ms. Pac-Man, Castlevania, The Legend of Zelda, Zelda II, and this game! I have it on a joystick with 12,000 games. I like playing it. The guy below me and I are getting an NES. Guy below me, if you like Late Night with Conan O' Brien, type a review saying how cool this game is. They now have your classic NES FAVOIRITES for Game Boy Advance and You get to play them on a Game Boy Advance SP. I am getting a Game Boy Advance SP and Classic NES for Game Boy Advance games for it. I love ExciteBike!

Exitebike is one of my all time favorites to play on the NES. This game kicks ass. I love it. In December this year, I'm going to get an NES system with Super Mario Bros., Duck Hunt, World Class Track Meet, Exitebike, and Castlevania. I can't wait to get Exitebike. Incase no one knows, they made Exitebike on the Gameboy Advance NES classic.

I'm surprised that no one mentioned the best part of all...taking out dumb@ss AI racers by cliping their front wheel with your rear wheel. I haven't played this game in years, but I can still see those guys cartwheeling in midair in a flaming spiral of death after I clip them at the top of a steep ramp.

ok i think some ppl r not all here bec this game is not worth 10 out 10 or 5 out of 5 bec for one thing the game never had a end and i can prove that bec i played it for hours and arnother note it got boring bec u do the same tracks over and over again the only good thing about this game is u can make ur own tracks and that got boring after a week or so i give this game a 6 out of 10 it was decent.

Yet Another Great NES Classic!
By ChemicalTrain on 6/18/2003 11:46:40 PM
This game is loads of fun. You speed down the dirt track with your bike rumbling and your hair blowing in the wind. Well okay...the 8-bit format doesn't exactly allow that much detail, but you get the point. Buy this addictive game, and you won't regret it. You'll spend hours trying to top your best times for each track. Let's not forget the track editor. Sure, it's primitive, but isn't that awesome! And you thought the park editors for these "New" games were innovative. Ha! Excitebike is synonomous with groundbreaking!

i never played the nes version o this one, but i had it for the e reader. it is easily the best game out for the reader. buuut i dunno if they fixed it up a lil bit for this generation...could be.
regardless, i would still buy it for the nes, just on the basis that i liked the reader's version. word. |

World's Best Dog Toy

Wow! It has a track editor! What can you do on it? You can make a few jumps and hear the same damn NEEE NEEE sound over and over again. Wow! Six levels!
This one's blue and has a big angled jump in it! That must make it a classic.
Horrible sounds, horrible gameplay, and a replay value worse than Rocketman for SNES.
I would invite everyone who owns this game to lubricate it, and insert it into their anal cavity, where it belongs. |

Everyone coveted this game as a kid... it was fun, challenging, and best of all, it had a track editor. A g0dd@mned track editor. How much cooler can you get. It was years ahead of its time with that simple option, and man was it ever a fun game. The best part, of course, was being in first and be passing people eight seconds into the race. 5/5
