| This game kept me busy for about 2 months off and on. No doubt I would play it today if I still had it. |

| STILL one of the greatest Baseball sims ever made... |

Those people whom are badmouthing this game, just don't know it's true potential. They probably have been pampered by all the newest 3d garbage that flutters around this saturated market. BUT here's a game that was made more than a decade before all that 3d crap, which is so fun to play because you actually win money for winning games.
As you win more money, you can buy stat points to build up your players. Increase their running stat, and they'll run faster around the bases and in the field as well. Increase their defense stat, and they'll be more likely to catch the ball after a spectacular dive. Increase hitting and batting and you'll start to hit consistent home runs!
Such a fun game to try and build your team up... So much better than all the worthless crap that's made today... OOO so you have "real" MLB sponsor on your game and you can swing Barry Bonds bat, WELL I CAN MAKE BARRY BONDS A FEMALE RIGHT HANDED SIDE-ARM PITCHER THAT CAN RUN, HIT, PITCH, AND BRINGS HOME THE CASH!!
I wish they'd remake this for GBA or the DS... |

I bought this game for 3 bucks at a thrift store. However, some fool before my ownership of it, took the label completely off. What motivates someone to do this? It's like idiots who write their name on them, or stores who cause cosmetic damage to the stickers with their store logo or something.
I like it. SNK AKA,... NEOGEO always put time into their games considering they were arcade manufactures.
I want to find the previous owner of this and flick their nose, cause they ruined the label. I had to download the one off this site of the top and front view, and print them off so my copy would have a label. It's kinda crappy, as it doesn't beat the real thing, but at least I can see it's name now in my pile of carts. |

| The Best Baseball video game ever!!! |

| I've spent many many nights playing this game against my friends and relatives. My team was named The 2-Hype HomeBoys, and they had the duck mascot. Me and my pals used to alter baseball cards to make them look like our team's players. I love this game. And still play it today. And still use the cheat codes to get powered up players. |

| Not a good game. It's very confusing, the name is disturbing, and it takes forever just to play a game. On a scale of 1 to 10, I give it a 0. |

I love Baseball Stars for the NES! I remember that our fave part of the game was firing our players! The list of options is quite extensive for a game from that era. I consider Baseball Stars as the true ancestor of today's baseball games (compare the list of options in Baseball Stars with, say, All-Star Baseball for the GameCube, and you'll see what I mean).
It is too bad that SNK is gone. Hopefully, someone will get the rights for this game and do something great with it!
By the way, Baseball Stars Pro for the Neo-Geo was pretty good too, although some elements were not as good as in the NES version. |

| Baseball Stars was the best sports game made for NES. It combined simple, yet fun gameplay with the the ability to manage and improve your team. Few baseball games even today compare with the overall gameplay seen in Baseball Stars. It is without a doubt one of my favorite NES games. |
