Do you know how a cartridge works?

In Games

I shur don't. I just wonder if you do.

the pins on the connector edge of the cart connect to various components and NES ROM chips inside the cart, which are read when the cart is connected to the console. the program code is passed from the NES ROM chips to the CPU, and there it is executed. the CPU then passes display information to the PPU/VDP/GPU, and audio information to the sound hardware, where it is displayed for you to enjoy.
