The Conquered Games

In Games

Okay, here's how this goes. You beat a game, you post it.

No prior conquerings, just what you've beaten since the beginning of this week.

I'll start with:

Mike Tyson's Punch-Out!!!

EDIT: I FINALLY found the image of when I conquered this... it's actually the first pic I took of a game, so I was relieved to see that I put it in some other folder in my Photobucket account *whew*

Thar it be ^

For whomever may actually see this edit, man, this is an old post I'm editing

Pro-am
Days of Thunder

Castlevania Symphony of the night(again)
Contra Shattered soldier(i cheated)
Devil May cry(again)

Championship bowling, 300 game. You get to drive off into the distance with a female in car.

i actually beat the arcade game "title bout" on one quarter yesterday

Alex Kidd the Lost Stars on Sega Master System.

The pocket game "Sonic Skateboard" that I got with my Happy Set at MacDonald's.

Super mario 64 Ds with all stars and super amrio 64 with 80 stars.

Black Belt - SMS
Phantasy Star -SMS

I'm on a Master System binge right now.

So far this week, Lufia III the legend returns.

Last 2 weeks i beat Ghost Lion and Panic Restaurant (again, man i love this game).
Almost beat Toki, couldn't kill the end boss.

Yoshi's Island
Faxanadu

Beat fable again when i was bored.

I didn't like FABLE but i beat the Ghosts n Ghoblins for Genesis

I beat Megaman 2. (borrowed my friends copy because mine broke) For the...30th time!

You guys should submit this to

And how does that work?
Does anybody check i I really beat the games I tell them?

Oh, and I add Super Mario World to my list.

No one checks but it's the old story about only cheating yourself if you lie. It's not like there are any prizes or anything. Although he may not believe you if you say you completed all 700 odd NES Games.

And I'm currently playing through Super Mario World (yet again) too!

Beat Mario Brothers again. I was playing the old school Mario Brothers on a thing called Mario Deluxe on a GBA cartridge. MY cousin let me borrow it. Trying the hard mode now. Every time you do somthing rare, you get medals and pictures added in this scrap book. You can also do these time trial races against "Boo."

That's the thing about these "achiever" sites. No one can really prove they beat a game unless it's recorded on video or something. Even then it's still not proof enough unless there's actual "third-person" footage of a certain game being played to where you can "see" the actual player actully playing.

Oh well, we will always know in our hearts that we have beated so-and-so game.

Right now I'm very close to making 'Y's: The Vanished Omen' on the SMS my next victim (I'm toggling between that and 'Rayman 2' on the Dreamcast).

Well i just beat True Lies on snes. Actually not a bad game but it gets hard near the end.

Double Dragon (SMS)

Final fight 3 (Again) and mighty morphin POWer rangers the movie on genisis HAH.

I like that game, it has a very low frustration factor

Super Mario World all 96 levels.

I've now moved on to Yoshi's Island which is definitely harder to complete 100%.

Super Street Fighter 2010 II
Close to 1942But it froze on me.

Soul Calibur (Dreamcast). All the stages, all characters, stages, secrets unlocked, 1 DAY.

Long live Maxi.

Dragon Warrior 7( over 135hr of game play

Damn, Star Tropics how much do you play?

I only play on the weekends and it took me approximately 4 months for beating Dragon Warrior 7. I really enjoyed this game, it has tons of skills, spells, monster classes, you can build an immigrant town, a monster park and the story is interesting.

Soul Calibur (Dreamcast). All the stages, all characters, stages, secrets unlocked, 1 DAY.

Long live Maxi.

I was nearly done that in about two days, then I stopped playing for a while and my save got corrupted somehow... so I have to play through the greatness that is Soul Calibur again... life is harsh!

as for "Long live Maxi"... he's my least favorite character in the game

Doom 3 (xbox)

for NES.

Despite all my complaining about the steering, over-the-top momentum, and virtual nonexistence of "traction", I managed to memorize the track layouts enough and master the art of the accelerator button to get through it. The worst parts are those god-forsaken helicoptor races (those things control like bumper cars).

Contra Hard Corps

I just knocked off 'Where's Waldo' games today.

The first is 'Where's Waldo', which has the WORST graphics and resolution for a NES game period (the search screens look like when the NES messes up and displays random sprites). Horrible, wretched, festering manure pile of a game- definitely rates as a an imperfect "1".

And...

'The Great Waldo Search', a slightly better than the first with graphics that are actually decipherable. You also get to control a dog riding on a magic carpet for the bonus levels (that has to have some value to it).

Why did I bother playing these games? Perhaps it's just my insatiable desire to annihilate every game that comes within my grasp.

I've got a copy of Street Fighter 2010 here with your name on it.

I just beat Mario Brothers again. Then I beat Donkey Kong: Jungle Beat for my Cube.

Finally I beat ACE COMBAT 4.

Whoah! Can't believe I didn't post this already!

Beat Resident Evil 4! Amazing game... frustratingly difficult at times, but amazing!

Next on the hitlist.... Metroid Prime!

Well, I beat RE4 for the...5th time. I love that game! Also, I beat RE2 again.

Finished Metroid Prime! Excellent game!

Next target: Still contemplating...

Beat Donkey Konga. Got everything in it.

I took down on NES after many tries.
Murdered on SNES on just my first sitting (it's 100 times easier than the original Final Fight).

...
I'm up to 50% completion on 'Rayman 2: The Great Escape' for DreamCast, and defeated the giant "mole" on 'Earthbound'.

DDR exetreme and DDRmax 2 gots everything in both!

Beat Ninja Gaiden 1 for the first time!

Dr. Chaos(NES)
Asterix & Obelix: Kick Buttix(PS2)

Mario's Picross (GB).

hmm, I haven't posted here before.

recently I've beaten:

Fable (Xbox)

Gunstar Heroes (Genesis/MegaDrive)

Gunstar Heroes (Game Gear)

some Barbie Vacation game (Genesis/MegaDrive)

I know there are a few others in the past few weeks, but I can't think of them.

Star Fox Assault

Super Mario World - SNES
Zelda - The Wind Waker - Gamecube
Since 8th may (sun)

Marel Vs Capcom2 for the millionth time.

Got all hidden people in Mortal Kombat Deception. (cube)

Commander Keen GBC.

Legend Of Dragoon-PSOne (love that game)... finally.

Mercenaries: Playground of Destruction- Xbox

Katamari Damacy - PS2

Timpesplitters 3- PS2

Last night I beat Rayman 2 on the dreamcast, then went straight on to beat Double Dragon II on the NES.

I re-beat Ocarina of Time, so I could get excited for "twilight princess".

Metroid Fusion

Fable - xbox
Mario Sunshine - gamecube
Return to castle wolfenstien - xbox

P.O.W Prisoners of war.

Today i beat Rodland, it's not a mega big game but quite hard, once you give it a little time things get easier. Great little game!

Well, I've been on a shooter kick lately...

FINALLY beat Gunstar Heroes without losing a life (on normal, I'm too scared to even think about hard, or expert )

and Giga Wing 2 on the Dreamcast

but I have a lot more shooters lined up.

Ikaruga, Trizeal, Border Down, Zero Gunner 2, Psyvariar 2.

and Bangai-O! whenever I can find it.

Goldeneye - N64
Star Wars K.O.T.O.R - xbox
Starwing - SNES
Super Star Wars - SNES

Go me!

Star Fox-Super Nintendo

Ikaruga, Trizeal, Border Down, Zero Gunner 2, Psyvariar 2.

Ikaruga is Bliggin Hard and Bangai-O I have been looking for that forever so if you are looking for that you should look for Radiant Silver Gun.
very Rare!

i beat...ren and stimpy Stimpy's invention!

I finished Rodland yesterday, not all to big game but kinda hard to pass the levels sometimes.

Finished Little Samson last night. A good game but seemed a little short.

Unlocked all characters in Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance.

I beat Castlevania Bloodlines. Also, I need like 15 more koffins in Mortal Kombat: Deception.

I just re-installed 'Grand Theft Auto: Vice City' for the PC, and picked up where I left off after I stopped playing it back in November of 2004.
It seems I was closer to the end than I thought, and finished it by accident.
Unfortunately I only got 94% so I'm not quite done with it.
Yeah, you kids HATE "GTA" but the PC version of it kicks all your arses.

The great thing about the PC version is all the cool "modding" I can do. I've added new buildings, islands, and save points that were not part of the original game.
I also have a mod to make the blood and smoke look more realistic, and strippers at the "Pole Position" club actually strip!

There's supposed to be a mod that allows your character to swim, but it doesn't work with a game saved in progress. That would be the best mod for 'Vice City' since it defeats the game's biggest flaw (dying as soon as you touch water).

Next up is 'GTA: Long Night', a complete game mod which has Vice City being overrun with "zombies" and you play as a heavily armed army guy.
(Hopefully I won't get killed by the very first zombie... like last time.)

My brothers friend is modding Vice city to make it Raccoon city from resident Evil.

Base Wars(NES)
Bonk's Adventure(NES)

Super Mario Bros. without using any warps. You're all jealous of my mad skills. Just admit it.

Call Of Honour - XBOX
Oddworld - munch's oddyssey - XBOX

Ninja Gaiden II.

Unlocked ALL "k"offins in MK:D.

just about everything if not all of the stuff you can get on Mario Kart Double Dash.

Just beat Super Mario 64 DS. I didn't have all 150 stars, but I'm going back to get the rest. I have 110 stars.

I have 126 stars and I just beat it about ten minutes ago.

Whoa, thats werid. I did it like 10 mins too. I skipped Wet-Dry World. I hate the board.

WHich is Wet-dry? is it the rise / low water level thingie. with the hidden city thingamabob.

Yea. I can't stand it. Anyways, I just beat Tall Tall Mountain in that game.

I beat Tales of Symphonia for the GameCube. It is an incredible game... probably my favourite game ever.

Ah... Harvest Moon.

...
*cough*
...

Wait! I can explain! My friend's sister got addicted to that Gamecube game, Animal Crossing. I was over at his house one day and saw her playing it. I commented on it, (something around the lines of "And the point of this is... what?"). I told her if she wanted to play something like that, then at least play something with an actual Goal, like Harvest Moon.

Apparently, she took it to heart, as the next time I came over I was blasted to the floor by her complaints, as she got the NES ROM, and kept going broke on the game. I went on the game, at first to show her how to do it (fool that I was), but each time I went over, she grabbed me and made me play it for her. Needless to say, I ended up beating the game for her.

I didnt know you could even beat Harvest Moon games.

It completely caught me by surprise. The girl I married in it was about to have her second kid, then my parents came over, yelled at me, I was attacked by chickens, and it ended.

Just beat A Nightmare on Elm Street for nes. Crappiest ending ever and the end level was friggin hard !

Earlier today I beat Panzer Dragoon II Zwei on the Saturn. Then I decided to fire up an emulator and check out Panzer Dragoon Mini, and I ended up finishing it too.

Panzer Dragoon! YES! I don't have a Saturn, though, so my only experience is with the NES ROM...

I'd like to check out Saga, but it's rare, and expensive...

there is that one for Xbox called Panzer Dragoon Orta.

Well, this isn't really a game that I conquered, but I feel this is worth posting...

My son just beat his first game!!!

Sesame Street Countdown

Cool. That was my first win too, I believe. Does it have a ferris wheel-themed minigame in it?

No, I believe you're thinking of Sesame Street: ABC with Letter-Go-Round on it.

This one is a side-scroller where you play as The Count.

<The Count>One game beat for Jeremiah! ha, ha, ha! < /The Count>

Finished Adventures of Lolo. Nice game. Keeps the old brain cells ticking over. Might have to tackle Adventures of Lolo 2 next.

Check out Kickle Cubicle too, awesome little puzzle game with somewhere around 100 levels.

Cool, I remember playing the first couple of levels of that a while ago and then forgot all about it. Thanks for the reminder!

Oh man, that game really ticked me off, I playe it was I was 10

Mario sunshine, Again

More to come!

Project Gotham 2 - Xbox
All three Mario's on NES
Donkey Kong - NES
All in the space of one day!

Beat NES Contra twice in a row (again). Can't do it on one life, but I don't need the Konami Code.

'Shinobi' for NES. The Master System version blows this one away (as I would expect) seeing as how it is a Sega game.
At least this one has a better ending.

GG Aleste on the Game Gear, I had been struggling with that one for a while, then today I just sat down and blasted right through the whole thing

Well, I recently took interest in NES Achievers. A site that Gyruss spoke about on the second page of this thread. I've been going back and conquering games and taking pics... here's what I've conquered today:

Ninja Gaiden (of course! I did lose a couple of lives this time, though). No continues:

Contra (third time through and on the last boss before I died). Here was my final score:

Dragon Warrior. I was at level 19 when I started jammin' on it today, so I beefed up to level 20 and beat it:

Battletoads vs. Double Dragon (SNES)
Clock Tower (SNES)
Contra III (SNES)
EVO: Search For Eden (SNES)
Eye of the Beholder (SNES)
Secret of Evermore (SNES)

I was bored, okay?

Solstice (NES) Great game.

Ha! That's going to be my next victim... maybe. I threw it in earlier and was amazed by how much I forgot!

Ha! That's going to be my next victim... maybe. I threw it in earlier and was amazed by how much I forgot!

It took me a while to get use to the controlls, but the game turned out great. Couldn't put the controller down. Hope you "conquer" the game soon.

Well, I couldn't sleep last night, so I went ahead and threw down on three more games... man, now I'm getting tired.

Anyway...

Megaman 2

Ninja Gaiden II: The Dark Sword of Chaos

... and lastly, The Adventures of Lolo

Well, I finished two more games last night.

Ninja Gaiden III: The Ancient Ship of Doom

...and I gave Karnov another NES ROMp through. It was glithching out on me, and I even got stuck in the wall on one part and had to let the timer kill me! ha!

I pulled out King Of Fighters Evolution for Dreamcast on monday & beated that; Although I didn't play it in so long(I forgot how much Krizalid cheats).

I beat final fight the arcade game again. And Btw roth that llolo and lala game, they are bosses on Kirbys Dream Land for gameboy.

Went through these yesterday:

Uninvited

Shadowgate

In a point-and-click mood, eh Roth?

Beat Caddilacs and Dinosaurs again.

Yeah, wish I had Deja Vu when I was playing those

Here's some more that I just went through. There's quite a few, so I'll just post links to the pics:

New high score of 3,000,000+

Not sure what games I'm gonna conquer next...

Contra III (again, again)
I keep playing the NES ROM to get screenshots, but I always end up playing it all the way through! Contra's too fun!

Double Dragon -NES
Double Dragon II -NES
Double Dragon V -ROM

Fire and Ice -NES
Bubble Bobble (Co-op)-NES

Not sure what games I'm gonna conquer next...

I always had trouble with Dracula on Castlevania III.
Did you?

Metal Gear I Came soooo close to beating that, then my friend comes
over trips over my controller's cord, the NES falls , Its ok. until he trips over the next controller.

Nah, not too many problems w/ Drac at all. I remember him being far harder than he actually was.

I just finished Flying Warriors last night. Great game. Now i gotta try expert mode.

Finished Castlevania Aria of sorrow just an hour ago. GREAT GAME.

Yeah how'd you like it I just beat it again lastnight I love it.

total recall, with arnold

OFF-TOPIC:

to vincent vega:

The Latin line in your sig is spelled totally wrong.

Who did you tell that?

It's

"in nomine patri et filii et spiritus sancti"... I hope you know at least the meaning?

What does that phrase mean?

Spiritus sancti: Holy Spirit?

Metal Slug 5 played with Kawaks.

Maybe some day I'll beat it using less than 120 lives.

And pink midgets.

Now that I've gotten MAME, I've been blitzkrieging arcade games.

Double Dragon -Arcade

The King Of Dragons -Arcade
Dungeons and Dragons: Shadow over Mysteria -Arcade

it means in the name of the father, and of the son and of the holy spirit., thanks for the spelling tip, i never was any good at spelling latin since i dont speak it. i'll change it though.

Does MAME support that? I couldn't find it...

Try this:

Not sure if it's different or not since it has World after it. There are a couple of others above it on the page prior to that... Page 'F' in the Mame section.

Now it's good.

I had Latin for 5 years in school, so I remember the spelling quite well.

Does MAME support that? I couldn't find it...

Yep. MAME does support final fight. try

Any other sweet beat-em-ups that I missed?

If you like the Golden Axe games try Knights of the Round. It's a total Golden Axe rip off but good all the same.

Ikky blabby moo kooku!

There might be light at the end of the tunnel.

But you're not going anywhere Maria until you clean up this kitchen.

Hey, it's Saturday. If you want "cake", you need to earn it.

Dear Lord, Z.E.N's losing it!

Now that I've gotten MAME, I've been blitzkrieging arcade games.

While I had access to my 'Cube again, I finished up Tales of Symphonia, and whipped through Prince of Persia: Sands of Time two and a half times. It would have been the full three times, but I had to leave...

I beat Megaman 2 again. I love that game so much! I'm working on Megaman 6 now (since 2, and 6 are the only ones I own). I beat Flame Man, and Blizzard Man. I'm trying to figure who to beat next. My bro told me to go to Plant Man, so...I will.

Also, I haven't beaten a Gamecube game in so long. I really need a new Gamecube game. I've just been so busy with my NES, I forgot about my cube.

Beat Lufia II again.

Adventures of Lolo 2
Very similar to the first game which is no bad thing as I really like this series.

Mario is Missing
About as good as edutainment is going to get.

NES Open Tournament Golf
Won all 3 tournaments on pro setting so I guess that counts as completing it.

Final Fight, Super Bomberman ,X men arcade, King of dragons, Caddilacs and Dinosaurs,

Just beat Super Mario 64. Wha a sweet ending

Yesterday, I beat Dragon Warrior 1.

chrono trigger(not sure which ending)
Mario 3
Super Metroid (with best ending)

Whipped out the SNES a few days ago...

Legend of Zelda: A Llink to the Past
Super Baseball Simulator 1.000 (expert mode, unl. ultra pts., using custom team)
Simcity (SNES): Megalopolis (ask me how, go ahead, ASK ME!)
Super Metroid (End time: 1 hr 21 min)

haha Okay... I've never played the game, but how Rabidshark?

Um, its not that it's a funny way of doing it, it's just something no one else can seem to do. Anyhow, I guess I'll give my clues and such.

1. Use map 061.
2. CHEAT. $999,999 saves time and eliminates tax issues.
3. Build 9 Nuclear POWer plants on the top left of the map going down. Line the right side of the plants with Industrial, and build industry below them, then an airport in the bottommost corner where it can't get POWer. Build a rail running up and down the leftmost side of the map just below the plants.
4. Get all the gifts, use a FAQ to know how and build them where land values are low, which tend to be closer to the edge of the map. Remember to save some for the rest of the map.
5. Use Rails, one straight line across the bottom with roads going up with enough room in between each to build 2 3x3 buildings.
6. Building pattern should be (excluding leftmost industry), a square ring ( on all sides, built in the outermost)of industry, then 2 rings Commercial, then fill the center with residential. Police protection and gifts distributed as necessary.
7. Fire protection isn't needed, build a bunch only for Fire Dept. HQs., demolish when done.
8."Stack" whenever free land getting unused, or essentially build a residential, shave off a row of houses, and build another residential to maximize space.

Hope I was clear enough, this is all off my head...

Resident Evil 4 - I think this may be the second time.
The wind waker - about the milliononth time.

Whipped out the SNES a few days ago...

Super Metroid (End time: 1 hr 21 min)

Vectorman
and a couple more.

I've been neglecting to post my conquerings (forgetful), so when I saw OneGenerationTooLate's avatar, I remembered.

Recently finished Shatterhand, Megaman 6, and Strider.

Wouldn't this post be more effective if pictures were posted. That way it was almost be like supplying the NES Files website with content. Just a thought, and I know a camera isn't always around.

and it would weed out the liars that post dozens of games within a very short period of time.

If you want to see pictures see the link in Roths sig. I think he finished more NES Games in the month of June than I've finished in my entire life!

Yeah, some photos would definitely be nice.

As NES-a-holic always says on the "game finds" thread where he posts his great hauls.

Haha! Yeah, June was a busy month for me NES-wise. That's when I first started submitting my wins to Achievers, so I wanted to kind of establish myself

Finished The Goonies II, Metroid, and River City Ransom. Per usual, my pics are in my sig.

Wow, I haven't poated here in a while. Anyways, yesterday I went through Bugs Bunny's Birthday Blowout.

hey I got that game , it not too bad and I like the Mallet.

Knocked off two more NES Games. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2: The Arcade Game, and Street Fighter 2010. Pics are in my sig.

Also, about two weeks ago I finished a couple of the modes in Castlevania: Lament of Innocence. I was too lazy to resize and upload the images though

Not sure what NES game(s) I want to conquer next, though I have been working on The Simpsons: Bart vs. The Space Mutants. As far as newer games go, I've been playing through Metroid Prime again so I can take a pic... man, I LOVE 3D Metroid games!

I beat Lifeforce today, great but not all to long game,i like shooters like this one.

Today, I beat Dark Angel(PS2) and Defender(PS2).

Finished Metroid Prime at 93%. Pretty Samus!

lets see i beat Jak3(PS2) twice
Yu-Gi-Oh! Duelist of the Roses I had to use cheats that is the worst game ever the end is so horrilble and stupid
and...uhhh... I think thats it....

After a year of having this game, I finally picked it up, and beat it. I beat Super Money Ball 2. I unlocked all the mini games, and have beat story mode. I'm working on unlocking the movies.

I beated SMB3 (again) and Metal Gear 2 Snakes Revenge!

Snakes Revenge isnt Metal Gear 2, its just Snakes Revenge, Metal Gear2 didn't comeout here, unless you are talking about the Real Metal Gear 2, and put the stupid Snakes revenge in the name.

ok, I have Conquered Doki Doki Panic(mario2),Super Mario.

Snakes Revenge isnt Metal Gear 2, its just Snakes Revenge, Metal Gear2 didn't comeout here, unless you are talking about the Real Metal Gear 2, and put the stupid Snakes revenge in the name.

ok, I have Conquered Doki Doki Panic(mario2),Super Mario.Oh, I did'nt know that, because when I'm about to play the game, it always comes "Metal Gear 2 Snakes Revenge" on the title screen.

Hey NES-Rule!, check this thread out for more info on Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake. It's an AWESOME game! It's the one that all the MGS games are based around.

Cool, I'll check it out!

super Mario World again , except this time it was in the Crazy red world.

beat the (first part) original legend of Zelda , and almost shed a tear because i was 8 and it was so hard finding everything matching puzzles , and ESPECIALLY painfully collecting one rupee at a time by killing octorocks to save up enough to buy a big shield and a blue ring,

almost beat Super Mario Bros. 1 , except cant get past bowser with his stupid axes on world 8-4.

ormanov, did you happen to read the first part of this thread? You are only supposed to post games that you have just beaten. or have beaten the day before. just a tip!

Oh sorry , will start reading the first post form now on.

I finally took on '' and gave it a good whomping.
Actually that game was whomping me for a while until I finally got the hang of the last few levels.

The final bosses are tough (especially that back-to-back battle with the "Lightning Sword Guy" and the "Great Big Dragon Thingy That Kills You With One Successful Hit"). Thank goodness for the "Golem", or would not have survived.

I don't have any pictures. I'll have to play through and beat it again to take some and I really don't feel like playing it anymore.

Well, I went through and conquered my newest find...

Megaman!

Pic in sig.

Well, I went through and conquered my newest find...

Megaman!

Pic in sig.

Those are tough. The only Megaman games I have beaten are number one and number two.

I re-re-re-re-re-re-re (o I give up) beat Megaman 2, and Ninja Gaiden II.

Sonic 2 Genesis style.

Finally conquered Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 3: The Manhattan Project. It's one of those games that I never finished back in the day... 'bout time

Pic in sig.

My wife finished Metroid Fusion in under two hours at 86%...

... got to see Samus in her "skimpier" clothing

I finally beat Megaman 2. I must be pretty terrible at gaming, because it took me a while to finally do it.

I wouldn't say that... I found that game to be quite difficult my first time through. (Especially the last two Wiley fights.)

Roth tell your wife Congrats on her awesome time on Fusion from Dead Eye Joe

I just went back through the game and finished in about 50 minutes with 9 lives and a spare E-Tank. The game gets exponentially easier once you figure everything out.

Still, 50 minutes is far from the 35 on that Speed Gaming Archive. The tool assisted time is about 25 minutes, but that doesn't interest me as much as a standard speed run.

On to Megaman 3...

I finally conquered one of my bitter rivals!

I finally conquered one of my bitter rivals!

TV looks a bit dusty there Roth.

Nice Tv though. Im geting a 57" TV on thrusday. Its a flatscreen. Is yours a flat screen? i really want to Hook up a spare nes to it. If i shouldnt, a N64 with moving backrounds should be alright, i hope?

After a couple of months of playing it on and off I finally finished Crystalis. Without even a peek at an FAQ either. It's a quality game. Definitely one of my NES favourites now.

i finally got to beating Lunar Legend and i beat Ghalleon my first try as a lvl 44. i used 50 healing items but hey i beat 'em.

I also Hookup my DC and Beat Sonic Adventure, Marvel vs. Capcom 2
,Vigilante 8 2nd offense, Soul Calibur, and one more but just canat think of it.

Meh, played through MM3 and SMB1 today.

Resident Evil 4. Magnificent game i must say and Ninja Gaiden shadows on GB. I beat Re 4 on my lovley 19 inch...(hey i use to have a small kitchen tv i played games on so this looks and feels like a 27 inch to me)and i finished it in 18 hours..man im one slow gamer but i like taking my time on games. Roth you still amaze me at beating these games i could never beat such as Double Dragon III wich i will NEVER beat and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 3 wich i came close but never finished...oh well..

Oh yeah Resident Evil 4 is sweet.

Well, I recently posted about beating Megaman 2. About 10 minutes ago I finally beat Megaman 3. Time to move on to Megaman 4. I hope I get MM1 soon though, so I can kinda play them in order.

Wow. I've been forgetting to post in here... anyways, heres some games I've beaten in the past month:

Finished Megaman 4 on the anniversary collection again. Im on an classic gaming kick latley

I put my brother through a beating of Tecmo Bowl for my NES. Does that count as conquering ?

Sounds more like you conquered your brother

I completed the english and spanish league on Pro Evo Soccer 4 on PS2. Not losing any games in the process either, but drawing 4. Oh yeah.

Can you um........... can you count pokemon?.....

I fail to see why not couldn't sleep so I played through super mario world this morning/today.

I fail to see why not couldn't sleep so I played through super mario world this morning/today.

Finally was able to beat Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 3. Feels like a good accomplishment. Great game. My favorite Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles on the nes

ive always liked the manhatten project the most.

but i truly like Turtles in time probably the most.

ive always liked the manhatten project the most.

but i truly like Turtles in time probably the most.

Turtles in Time rocks!! me and my cousin played it 2 players, got to the last level and his dumbass pulled on the controller really hard and froze the SNES

Sunday (i think?) i 'conquered' Monster Party. which is a great game, very weird, but great. the only thing i didn't like was how insanely hard the first miniboss in level 8 is, and how insanely easy the final boss is. other than that, great game!

and about 10 mintes ago i finished Friday the 13th.... using my Game Genie . i know it doesn't count, i just wanted to see what the game was like

Final i beat

for the GameCube

Karnov! i was expecting to see a better ending than

Congratulations

The End

I Wanted to atleast see Karnov prancing around in his bikini

Finished Megaman X4 on the psx with all POWer ups and armors.

Conquered my first DS game today

Resident Evil 2 hard mode with clarie (<-is that spelled right?)

Finally finished Zelda: Minish Cap. I have to say its a reall good game and i was Hooked but man did i ever get mad at the end of that game. It frusterated the heck out of me. But still a good game nontheless.

mario and lugi superstar saga, took me like 3 days, i didn't get things you were supposed to, but it didn't matter. haha.

umm... i am working on mario sunshine a little.

yah good luck getting all the shiney suns

Sat down last night and finally decided to play through Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes. I saved Meryl on this one. I may go through it again and surrender during the torturing to get the stealth suit from Otacon. Here's my pic:

Nice job. What level did you play on? (like: very easy, easy, hard)

The first time I NES ROMp through a game, I always make sure it's set on Normal (if such an option exists). If I like it enough, I'll go through on Hard. I'll be posting more thoughts on this game in the thread that's in the Metal Gear forum.

I played through Jade Empire on the Xbox while I was away from the forums. That's a pretty interesting game for anyone that like RPGs with a little more action than usual.

I finsihed Super Mario Land yesterday morning

Just finished Batman: Return of the Joker for the nes. Awsome game but took me alot of tries to conquer this one.

It's a lot easier than the first Batman game though, partly due to the passwords. The Joker is also quite easy to beat.

I've beaten my first DC game, Blue Stinger. I've also beaten Super Mario Land 2 on my Super Game Boy (very easy game).

resident Evil 4 again

on capcom classic collection

Commando
Bionic Commando
Forgotten Worlds
StreetFighter II Hyper
1943
1943 Kai

i think there was one more.

i love that game!!!

Conquered Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty today

After playing through the first two, I think I'm just gonna have to play through the third one.

i love that game!!!

me too! and ive got like two thirds of all the Bottle caps.PLus theHandcannon

Roth i wish i could give you my file with Stealth Camo, its so Fun!

Busted through Bucky O'Hare and conquered it for my first time ever

I played through Tekken 5.

It doesn't really count in a way, but I haven't conquered any games in a while

As of Wednesday, Rainbow Islands is officially conquered. The last boss was really difficult and it took me about 20 continues to beat him.

I conquered another Gameboy game today.... Tiny Toon Adventures: Babs' Big Break, using my Super Gameboy. the game is pretty fun, and very easy. kinda short, maybe 4 or 5 levels, with only 3 bosses, a couple of mini games, and some other fun stuff.... i say try it out for a quick game

Hey, Commander Campkill...

I also conquered Rockin' Kats! I forgot how fun this game was. It's like a Bionic Commando game with cats that fight dogs... with a cool Stray Cats-type background music style. Check this one out if you haven't, it's awesoime!

I finished the first Batman game on nes. Man was it difficult! Joker took me at least 15 tries before i beat him. Great game nontheless.

Hey, Commander Campkill...

! you'll have to tell me how, maybe i can beat it tomorrow....

EDIT: sorry about that guys

Finished Bugs Bunny's Crazy Castle. It's got one of those classic NES endings, whereby it's just a screen saying "The End" then you get transported back to the first level. Good closure.

Finished Prince of Persia sands of time. Great game now i have to go out and try the second one.

i just conquered Ghoul School. it's pretty good game if you give it a chance.

MTV Remote Control.... i guess it's ok if you like gameshow games

My wife conquered Barbie

Yesterday, my friend, his brother, and I went on a NES spree, and beat:

Ninja Gaiden
Ninja Gaiden II
Megaman 2
Bubble Bobble
Castlevania III (we had already beat about 3/4s of the game when we started)

My wife conquered Barbie

i bet it was really you and you're trying to sound like a tough guy by saying it was your wife

Man your wife (if it really was your wife

Uh what I meant to say is my girlfriend has been playing it...

Ha! I know what part you're talking about! Yeah, at first she wanted me to get her by it, and I tried... not very well though I may go through this game sometime, but not now... that was annoying!

You might laugh at me but I got 100% on all the belts in "WWF: No Mercy" for Nintendo 64. I feel like such a redneck. I just liked beating the crap outta ppl.

Well after posting on here last night I went and finished off Barbie. I breezed through that section I was struggling on before and it turned out to be the last level of the game. Guess now I've entered the macho man club.

to be really, truely macho, you gotta make it sound like your girlfriend/fiance/wife beat it

Alright, that's it... tonight I'm conquering Barbie!

PS2
POP: Sands of Time
Viewtiful Joe

NES
Heavy Barrel
Salamander

Well, I didn't conquer Barbie... that games pretty tough I got to the second level that has fish jumping out of it and got fed up, so I turned it off. I did go through MGS3, however:

I forgot to post a game that my wife went through the other day... Yoshi's Cookie. How anyone can play these Tetris style puzzle games is beyond me. It's amazing to watch her play those kind of games

i beat Hapland in school yesterday yeah, i'm good

SMB3 no warp whistles with 55 lives at the end in about 3 and a half hours. What really ticks me off is that after you have 3 or 4 pages of items it starts overwriting them. By the way does anyone know of a no warp speed run of that?

i am going to do that sometime soon, i am aiming for under an hour and a half. im not sure, but i think might have it.

Edit i guess not.... but it might have one soon if i can get a video of it made. i could probably get under 2 hours without a problem.

i think i beat it with 99 lives at the end, mainly because in the second level i got my lives up to 99 and got a few lives in world 8.

conquered games....
Super Mario Bros. 1- 5 minutes and 9 seconds!
the whole thing in 21 minutes and 19 seconds.

Super Mario Bros. 2 in 10 minutes and 34 seconds i think.

Super Mario Bros. 3 in 11 minutes and 54 seconds or so.

Donkey Kong64, longest game i have taken to beat... took 60 hours i think, with all the time added up. 201 bananas

Finally finished tales of symphonia and what a long and great game it was to play through.

Just finished Megaman X4 again , only this time with X's ultimate black armor and it took me about 50 minutes straight through.

I've recently polished off Symphony of the Night playing as Alucard. I conquered it with 200.6%

I finished up the story missions in GTA: Vice City yesterday, Now I'm starting over on Morrowind.

I've recently polished off Symphony of the Night playing as Alucard. I conquered it with 200.6%

It's so Crazy. i popped this in like the day after i beat Doawn of Sorrow. (like a week and a half ago) i did the same.

I've recently polished off Symphony of the Night playing as Alucard. I conquered it with 200.6%

Heh you just made me want to pop in SOTN and give it another go!

I finished a couple of GameBoy titles recently (and thanks to my new sophisticated equipment and technology, I can now post uber-cool screen shots).

First is .

This is just the plain old 'Batman' game (I think it was the first one for GB). Generic side-scrolling action at it's most generic. The graphics will make you laugh (Batman looks like a little kid dressed in a Batman costume), and your main weapon is a "gun" that shoots a bullet the size of Batman's body.
Didn't have much trouble with this one, but I replayed Stage 4-2 almost as much as the entire rest of the game (the only really difficult level).

Second is

This game is different from its NES counterpart. It plays almost like (dare I say) "Zelda". You control Roger as goes to/from locations picking up items and beating up "weasels". Very easy game and very short, however I did enjoy it (although nowhere near as much as the NES version).

This now makes "10" GameBoy conquerings in my entire life time!

Was that Batman, anything liek the one for NES.

So are you gonna tell us how this sophisticated equipment functions.

(Super Nintendo)

The hardest 'Castlevania' game I've ever played that was still somewhat "playable". This game is cheap, cheap, CHEAP when it comes to difficulty.
I just went through the dungeon levels (after falling on Stage 3, of course) and beat it. No use even trying to rescue Maria and Annette (it requires too much perfection to accomplish and isn't worth my time and effort).
Dracula was tough to beat also. Trying to fight him on those dinky little columns over the pit was not very much fun.
I lay this game to rest now. Curse it... forever.

No. It is not even in the same with NES 'Batman'. It shares ties with the original movie. That's all.

"Classified Information"

(But it may or may not involve the use of a "firewire cable".)

Conquered Gunstar Heroes on the Genesis again. still working on hard and expert modes...

itching for Thursday though, when EB gets my copy of Gunstar Super Heroes.

I beat smb the other day, using my middle finger and index fingers on each hand

Super Mario Brother 1 in 8 minutes. I'm proud of myself. Maybe soon I can even beat the speed run of it

Gremlins 2

That game was immensly enjoyable. It gets quite tricky toward the end. I liked it alot more than I thought I would.

Gremlins 2 is an AWESOME game! Good job man, I really do like that game alot. I need to find that cart sometime. I like the music in that game most of all... it really is suiting to the game.

As for me, I'm on an SMS kick lately. I ran through a couple of games today. Rastan and Altered Beast.

Glad others around here dig Gremlins 2. Great music, graphics and gameplay.

As for SMS! I always find myself on SMS kicks. Haven't played Rastan ot Altered Beast before.

Didnt even know altered beast was on the SMS. But anyway I finished The Legend of Dragoon. Final boss gave me such a tough time, I had to retry at least 8 times and go back and level some more additions before I finally whipped him.

I did the 50cc and 100cc Mushroom, Flower, Star & Special Cups on Mario Kart DD. Gaining perfect points as DK and Red Koopa in Wario's pimp mobile.

i always used the red and green koopas together. there's nothing better than 3 red shells and 3 green shells at the sametime

That's a good combo.
I like using DK as he gets the HUGE banana peels and you can use the pimp mobile due to his weight.

i guess i just beat City Connection. it looped back to level 1. no ending screen or nothing

I almost forgot to post that I conquered Castle of Illusion: Starring Mickey Mouse.

Fun game... and the last boss is a fun, yet somewhat frustrating fight.

I beat Kirby Canvas Curse for the second time today!

i just beat Killer Instinct for GameBoy with the character Glacious, using my Super GameBoy.... the final guy was way too easy! you can stand there and land so many hits on him, but once he gets ahold of you he tears you up. still extremely easy though. i beat him my first try

T.H.U.G 2

Just beat Batman on the Genesis again. Great game by Sunsoft.

Went through Castlevania: Bloodlines on the Genesis with John Morris. I plan on going through with Lecarde later:

EDIT: Here's the pic of going through it with Lecarde...

Well, in the past couple of days I've ran through some games. The game of the week (actually, fortnight ) over at sega8bit is Gain Ground. I ran through that on one of my emulators:

I've also wanted to take some pics of me going through Golden Axe for the Genesis:

I also recently got my hands on Taito Legends for the PS2. It's a collection of arcade games that they put out over the years. The main reason I bought it was because they had Rastan the arcade game on there! I've managed to squeek my way through that on the Easy difficulty setting, which only gives you more lives per continue. The main flaw with this game is that once you reach the final level, you can't continue anymore. I couldn't imagine putting tons of quarters in that game and NOT be able to play that level again after losing all the rest of my remaining lives. It's a challenging game, but I think it's doable on Normal. I plan on trying to get through it at that setting sometime this month:

SMB 3 with the advantage, Super mario world on GBA, and SMB with the advantage.
Mario, what would i do without you.

I forget to post...

During Halloween break I beat 'Sweet Home', the horror/RPG from Capcom.

Decent game but the constant rearranging my party and "item management" was a real pain.

Also got through the Atari 2600 game 'Haunted House'. Quite possibly the first horror-themed console game ever released (and one of the few 2600 games that is actually "conquerable").

I played through Super Street Fighter 2010 II for the Genesis using Ken on an Emulator. I need to find that actual cart.

i just conquered Super Castlevania IV!!!! this game is so good! if you don't have it, go get it (this applies to you roth

Castlevania, IV, the third best SNES game.

today in Networking class i conquered Kill the PacMan

So today I went into Futureshop, and they FINALLY had the Xbox 360 demo units!!!

I was about to grab the one Hooked up the standard display, but then the guy pointed me to the big demo TV with a couch and stuff.

I parked my ass for... must have been around two hours, it was dark when I left.

I conqered all of the demos, and all of the levels within each demo

I must say, I want one of these!

Which demo games did they have?
I played through Super Punchout on emulator.

It was the same demo console/disc as everywhere else. They had Kameo, Call of Duty 2, and King Kong.

I must say, the ground in the beginning of the "Chased" level of King Kong is just amazing.

Should've guessed really. I only got to play "Call Of Duty 2" but I want to see how the new "Dead Or Alive" looks, as the ones on xbox look pretty damn good.

I wasn't really all that impressed by the trailers I've seen of that one. Though trailers didn't do justice for any of the playable games they had.

Just finished good ol Starfox 64. Finished it with the best ending and didnt die once.

Beat Final Fight again. Didn't go for any big Goals, just did it for fun.

i know none, of you are gonna believe me , but i finally, Finally, after, months, of practice, i Beat , the ol' Mighty Bionic Commando(i saw hitlers head explode), don't worry, when i can get the Pics online ill show the proof.

i know, but my Bro took the Cam, it'll be back tomorrrow, i promise!

Max Payne 2 on the Xbox.

Man I love those games.

I got the Pics, and if u don't believe me still(like as if u think its another Game.) I'm pretty sure Roth knows the ending.

Note my Boxed Zelda II: The Adventure of Link, on top of the TV, along with my other NES Games with boxes below the TV..

if the links don't work somehow, here is one of the 3 pics,

THey're big pics.

I hate my small TV.

Ha! Yeah, the explosion that doesn't move on-screen That always cracked me up.

you know i didn't even think about that, and after i do, i gottta laugh.

Just NES ROMped through golden axe 2 on the kega fusion emulator. Here is a pic of it.

Simpsons Hit & Run for Gamecube. Now i have another challenge, to get 100%. Good game.

Max Payne 2 on the Xbox.

Man I love those games.Same here.

Just finished the original Legend of Zelda for the very first time on my buddies gamecube. He has the game with Zelda 1 , Zelda II: The Adventure of Link , ocarina and majora on it. Man it was a great feeling FINALLY finishing the original Zelda after actually sitting and trying.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Hyperstone Heist on the Genesis last night, and Fable: The Lost Chapters on the Xbox today.

Well, it's 4:00 AM, so I guess I finished Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles two days ago

Hyperstone Heist is AWESOME , i reccomend it to anyone who liked IV or the NES ones.

since i havent been on in awhile... i manage to beat (yah i spelled that wrong) the games card system battle is only fun because theres a 1000 differnt cards and you can customize your deck

Yea i really liked the Hyperstone Heist i used to play it all the time on my Sega Nomad.

i just got done playing through Resident Evil 4 again. such a great game. this time i beat it in 16 hours, 9 minutes and 10 seconds, rather than the 19 hours and some odd minutes last time. hit ratio: 70%, eenmies killed: 946, number of times killed: 23 () for anyone that hasn't played it. GO PLAY IT NOW!!

Beat Kirby's Adventure today in about 2 hours. I unlocked all the secrets and everything. I love that game.

That reminds me, I finished all 3 files 100%. Yeah I love this game too!

Defeated 3 MSX games last week.

Superior to the NES version. Much more difficult. Dying results in a brutal punishment, resulting in the loss of all items and weapons previously gathered before passing some sort of checkpoint. Has much better bosses and even (get this) "Metal Gear" is actually on the game! Instead of the stupid computer.

The masterpiece that North America didn't get. The true sequel to the first 'Metal Gear' (and not 'Snake's Revenge'). Great game with a great surprise twist ending.

This is a side-scrolling adventure/puzzle game. The graphics look like 'Donkey Kong' (it's MSX1). The puzzles are extremely difficult to figure out and even harder to execute. 'The Castle' is the prequel to 'Castle Excellent' which was remade as the horribly inferior 'Castlequest' for NES. Avoid that game, play this one.

Next up is 'Super Mario World'!
(It's been 14 years... might as well try to finish it.)

Beat Startropics 2 in the past 2 days. Another classic game on NES!! Here are some pics:

Yes I have 9 medicines there because Im awesome.

I want to try and go beat StarTropics next. I think that one is harder\longer.

nothin to be ashamed of i got killed on pro mode before i beat it .................crap

i was doing pretty good until i got to the krauser knife fight. seems like everytime before he'd attack me i'd have an itch on my leg or something!

Decided to whip out some MAME today.

Metal Slug 4 (48 Credits :S)

Progear (crazy nutso shooter by Capcom, way too short)

Finally finished the story missions on GTA: San Andreas on the Xbox.

Now the game gets fun.

Well, I ended up conquering Normal mode on Rastan the arcade version... the ending was the same as the one I posted of the easy mode a couple of pages back. Some adVice: Make sure you have the axe when you get to the final boss!

I NES ROMped through Castlevania: Curse of Darkness with Hector. I unlocked the ability to play Crazy Mode and also to play as Trevor Belmont.

Also, a game that I thought would be a lot harder that I made it through was Zen: Intergalactic Ninja. It just took a little patience, and ended up being a tad easier than I was making it.

Beat Chip n' Dale Rescue Rangers today. Does anyone know if you get a different ending or anything if you finish all the levels? There are a few that seem pointless as you don't need to go to them.

Beat Karnov last night. I had a friend over and we ripped through it.

I conquered Cyborg Hunter for the SMS. Very fun game. The last couple of levels (Areas F and G) are so easy it's pathetic... other than that, it did present some challenge. You only get three continues, one life per continue. I was actually on my last life, and one hit left against the final boss... I got sorta lucky

I beat Super Mario 64, with 85 stars. Now I need to get 120 I love that game.
I also went through the "easy" mode on Wave Race 64.
Now to do work.

I also went through the "easy" mode on Wave Race 64.
Now to do work.

that's a game i need to get! i used to go to one of my friends house and play it all the time. pretty nifty game

and screw work, games are more fun

back in the day, i could beat anyone at waverace64 i had beaten everything in it, same goes for super mario 64 except that i am not competing against people in that game. i did get 120 stars when i was like 9 though.

Daynum wrote:

i did that with super mario world, it said 96 with a star next to it on each one, i think that meant i beat every level...the crazy thing about that was that i had done in 3 days beating each file a day. i am pretty sure the first time i beat it, i beat it in about 1 hour and 30 minutes.

I've also maxed out all 3 files on Super Mario World. Then on occasion I'll delete one and do it again! That's my favourite 2D mario game.

I played through Goldeneye on "agent" mode. It took me about 2 hours.

Polished off another SMS game: Kenseiden!

This game was pretty fun! It starts off with just your basic jump and your basic attack, but then you get POWered-up as you complete certain levels. I really liked this game. If anyone is into good platformers, I recommend it!

I finally finished off '' for the first time, but I only have a "93" for the completed worlds. I don't know how I am missing 3 of them. I backtracked and checked ALL of the "red dot" locations and 99.776% sure I completed all the alternate exits.

I might try for a "96" some other time.

Hey ZEN, try beating all the star worlds without a key, that always helps. If that doesn't work, double check your haunted houses to make sure you didnt miss anything.

I think that might be it. Most of the Star Worlds I played only to unlock the next path.

It would've been nice too, if the "ghost houses" would have some kind of indication that there are more than one exit. Oh well, still a good game (probably my favorite Mario side-scroller also).

Just polished off Casltevania Legends on the old gameboy, but on a emulator. Heres the screen shot

I conquered Déja Vù again today! That is one of my favorite games.

Same here i love that game.

Recently went through Castlevania II Belmonts Revenge on the old Gameboy. Heres a screen shot

Yesterday evening and today, I played through Windwaker for my friend, as she wanted to explore the islands and stuff. I saved just before the final battle and then did it, turned it off during the end sequence.

Jungle book for genesis. It was boring this time.

And then...? Then what??? my god! What will happen next?!?!?

And then...? Then what??? my god! What will happen next?!?!?

Jeez... You didn't know?!!!

That is most definetely awesoime.

Best ending

Indeed.

Sticking with the 'Castlevania' theme...

Finished 'Rondo of Blood' for the TurboGrafX-16/PC Engine CD-ROM several times.
Found all multiple routes and hidden paths, rescued all four maidens (including Maria as second playable character), unlocked all stages for select, and aquired all "technics".

Appreciate the "100%" pictured above.

A damn fine job, if I may say so.

Conquered "Malice" on the XBox. What a boring game... there is no sense of urgency, it was WAY too easy. Even the final boss is boring.

the upside to the game though, is that graphically it's great, it has the kinda "wet" look of a lot of the 360 games. Also, you can probably pick it up for about $5, and it did kill a few hours. So it's not all bad.

Recently finished StarFox Adventures on the GC. Its an alright adventure game I suppose, nothing really revolutinary about it. But I liked it nontheless. It satisfied me for a bit untill LOZ TP comes out.

i finished the flash game cowmaze (at ) today in Networking. that game is pretty sweet. a lot of crazy mazes and puzzles. i think there's 41 levels? maybe it's 42.... it's a good class time killer

Awhile back ago I conquered Streets of Rage on the SMS and forgot to post about it... awesome game that never made it to North America on that system.

Tonight I conquered Ninja Gaiden, also a Master System game that never made it on this side of the lake.

I passed $1,000,000 worth of prize money on NES Open Tournament Golf and got a few nice end of game screens. I didn't know it was possible to finish the game, I thought you just played on and on so it was a bit of a surprise.

Mario: What do you mean you've "seen" many Golfers? You hussy!

Console: Sega Master System
Game defeated: ''
Difficulty: Medium (but the optional "training levels" are very hard)

This is one of the decent, above-average (i.e. "non-sucky") side-scrolling action games for the SMS. It starts off generic/crappy then gets much better as you progress.
Recommended for Master System owners/players.

Luke's got me in a Ninja Gaiden mood, so I bashed through the Game Gear version. It's an okay game, but not great. Your weapon looks more like Strider's cipher, and the story is pretty funky, but it's a decent game overall. It's VERY easy... I think I NES ROMped through it in about 20 minutes, then did the final boss a couple of times. It's worth it for a quick play. The fourth level is set-up pretty cool, by the way.

Kirby 64 the Crystal Shards. Heh... where did I ever find that thing...
Don't be dissin' Kirby!

How many Game Gear games do you have? A few months back i had a Game Gear and about 30 or 40 games for it then i sold it on eBay.

That picture is from a emulator, Bad Dog.

Oops Sorry

Finished Suikoden 1 again, only this time I got all 108 stars. Great game I could play it forever.

Finally got all 150 Stars In SM64 DS

Finished Ninja Gaiden on the Gamegear. And man was it short and EASY. Took about 20 minutes just like, Roth, to finish, maybe even less. This is undoubtly the EASIEST Ninja Gaiden game ive ever played. Its a good game though. Short and sweet.

Also, I couldnt sleep tonight so for no reason I thought id pick up the Bobbys World NES ROM on SNES and finish it to kill some time. Its an alright platform game I guess. You go through bobbys imagination and near the end of each level is a horizontal like shooting part to it. The game is INCREDIBLY easy and one of those one time only type games. Heres a pic of one of the crappiest endings.

I finished Golden Sun 2 today. It took me almost 48 hours. It is an awesome game.

Beat Super Mario Sunshine again. 0 to 84 shines in the last 3 days.
Fun game, but it can't beat Super Mario 64.

Defeated '' for the Sega Master System.

This mostly overhead adventure is commonly referred to as the 'Legend of Zelda' of the SMS, and it's easy to see why. It does have a similiar layout and game play of the original 'Zelda'. This of course, makes it a good game. Probably the third best I've played on the system.

It's not quite as "deep" as 'Zelda' but extremely playable. The locations of secret areas and items are all logically hidden and there's not many "chores" to face throughout the quest.
If you are the kind of player who likes the 8-bit style adventure where most of the focus is on the travelling, "searching" and discovering hidden things (rather than leveling up and fighting endless enemies for gold), then this game is for you.

Now I am one game away from hitting "30" on the SMS conquered list. (Will I do it before the New Year?)

???

Sensible Soccer

21 wins, 3 draws, 6 losses.

I used to rule at this game, beating every side 10-0. But i guess those 6 losses show I've lost my touch.

Finished Castlevania Lament of Innocence on the ps2. Not the best Castlevania but fun nontheless.

Megaman 4 a few days ago and Megaman 5 today.

Jurassic Park for the Genesis For abouu the millionth time.

I always liked that game it was pretty fun playing on my nomad have you played Jurassic Park Rampage Edition?

Yes i have Rampage as well i still like the first more though.

Tetris, but not really. i got 180 lines though.

I finished ').
I liked it.

Now I am one game away from hitting "30" on the SMS conquered list. (Will I do it before the New Year?)

???
Well I beat '' for the Sega Master System on December 31st, giving me a grand total of "30" finished games for that console before 2006. However, I kind of cheated a bit though... 'Secret Commando' is actually the European version of 'Rambo: First Blood Part II' (which I've beaten before). The cut-scenes and title screen music is different though, so as far as I'm concerned it's a different game.
Uh-huh. Word.

Well... I'm not sure how to tell everyone this, but...

I beat M.U.S.H.A!

I'm not sure how I did it. I just started playing, and I did well. I got farther than I had ever gotten before, and I just kept going... I took beautiful screenshots, but they're about 2.25 MB each. Needless to say, I'm going to have to make them a wee bit smaller, at the expense of quality, before I can post them. Damn, I'm never good at , but I suddenly trounced this game (well, not exactly trounced. I got my ass kicked towards the end). I'm feeling pretty good right now.

That being said, holy @#$%ing hell, the game . The last level has five bosses. Along with the billions of enemies. It doesn't sound like much, but it seems like an eternity when you play it. Fortunately, though, the only boss that I really had a difficult time with was the "final" boss, until I figured him out.

i reccomend IrfanView to shrink the images

Thanks, campkill. Well, here's a montage of my work. And it was work, believe me. The game's fun, but it's hard.

My Nemesis

This guy always killed me. My principal strategy involves using the water MUSHA for the shield and keeping my wingmates safe, and once I lose it I usually get trounced eventually. So, as usual, he destroyed the shield, and naturally, I thought I was screwed, as usual...

HA-ha!

... But it turns out that I wasn't. By the time he took out my shield, he would have been wittled down to the point where he fires barrages of ball-things at you. This time, I managed to weave between them successfully.

To The Last Level

I had to include this, mainly because it was such a spectacular shot. I don't know if you can tell or not, but I'm at the bottom, and I'm avoiding a missile by about four or five pixels.

Useless Boss

Jeez, this guy is dumb. Pretty much, what I did was call my wingmates into position above and below my robot. When they're in this position, they shoot in the opposite direction that you're moving. So all you have to do is get along side him, point away, and keep firing. Your wingmates will shoot him, and you can dodge him when he gets too close. It's not the quickest way, but you can get through it relatively unscathed.

C.O.R.E.

Yeah, this guy looks formidable, but CORE's a pushover. The boss that posed a problem for me was the one between this guy and that stupid robot. I didn't get a shot of it, but he pretty much shoots a never-ending barrage at missles at you. The thing about CORE is that he shoots out these things that crawl on the walls and shoot at you. Of course, if you still have your wingmen, you really don't have to worry about them too much.

Monster Boss

This guy is kind of a problem, until you figure out how his balls move.
...What?

Attack of the Alien Baby

This guy's the "final" boss. This guy is . See that green sphere that he's shooting at the wall? Those things make fleshy fists shoot out of the wall. He kicked my ass until I learned how to avoid them.

!!SPOILER ALERT!!

So, you blow up the base, woo hoo, fly back to the mother ship. What's this? boss? Apparently, some temp grabbed a mech before the whole base got blown up, and he shoots some crap at you. The mech's pretty torn up, though, and he's a pushover. Now he's dead, you win. Interesting Note: If you looked closely at the last picture, and then looked at this picture, you'll notice that I went from NO lives to FOURTEEN lives. Well, I also turned into the Lightning MUSHA, and I'm not really sure what the hell happened. I don't have any cheats, so it isn't that. If someone else could beat this and see what the hell happened, I'd be obliged.

I'll Show YOU "Minor Wounds"...

The epilogue appears onscreen for all of 0.023 seconds. Enjoy it.

Fin

Another option for the screenshot problem is to use a good emulator like and use the screenshot key-combo (shift-F12)

Castle of Illusion

You have to beat it on "hard mode" to get the anime ending.
You did try playing on "hard mode" right?

???

As for your "nemesis" boss...
What I usually did was set my to "free"- They will stay in front of its mouth and help destroy the orbs it shoots at you while taking damage constantly.

anime ending.
You did try playing on "hard mode" right?

???

If the game has a 'normal' level, rather than just 'easy' and 'hard', I always try and beat the game subsequently, from normal up. The only reason I posted anything other than "hard" first was the fact that I was impressed to actually be good at anything. Expect the hard epilogue sometime this week.

As for your "nemesis" boss...
What I usually did was set my

I use the "free" flight pattern(?) sparingly, and only when I feel the wingmen won't be damaged. I actually made it Priority 2 to keep the little guys safe, especially during my "nemesis", which probably accounts for why I have a problem with him.. Of course, if you looked at my later screenshots, you'll noticed that I completely abandoned Priority 2 towards the end.

I've got some pics of these games on my camera, but I haven't dumped them off of it yet. I'll post the pics later. Conquered:

Rygar (PS2)
Spyro: Enter the Dragonfly (GameCube)
Gun (GameCube)

Rygar isn't a bad game... it's not a great game, but it does have platforming in it. That really helped it out. My main beef with it is that you CANNOT control the camera. It's fixed in one position, and you have to deal with the fact that sometimes you can't see the enemies (RE anyone?). In spite of that it's a decent game.

That Spyro game has got to be the most bug-ridden, glitchy piece of filth of all the newer gen systems. I can't even count how many times the game froze up, OR the entire background disappeared for over a minute and I was walking on black nothingness, OR Spyro would just float off into the air for no reason (not as in flying either), OR Spyro would get stuck and I'd have to leave the level... that is, if I had the ability to pause the game... otherwise I'd have to reset, OR while trying to talk to someone Spyro keeps trying to run to a position that the programmers wanted him at but there's a wall that keeps him from getting there.... AWFUL game. I would've liked it much more if the programmers would've been thinking ahead or something. It's ENTIRELY too buggy.

Gun... what can I say? Read ZEN's review for an opinion that matches my own

Conquered the "Adventure" mode of Nanostray on the DS:

Poor photo...

anyone that likes space shooters should grab this one for sure. I got it for $25 CDN, you should be able to find it for under $20 USD.

Those guys at Shin'en know how to make a good shooter. Look at Iridion II on the GBA. Nanostray is what that tried to be.

i really want NanoStray, but its usually like 30-35 around here.

Finished Suikoden 4 on the PS2 yesterday. Alot of people seemed to dislike the game but I found it better than the 3rd game.

The world map is a big ocean you sail on and its kind of tiedous since it takes a while to get places even while holding the speed up button. And the encounter rate is pretty high.

But overall Id say a fun game to play. But still not as a good as the first two Suikodens IMO. I suggest trying this if your into RPGS.

i got all golds in Mario Kart Super Circuit for 50cc . i know, i know, i still have to beat 100cc, and 150cc

just conquered Tony Hawk's Underground

How long did that take? and hour? hour and a half? I bought that game when it came out, the first time through it was awesome, after that... WAY too easy.

Golden Axe, Toe Jam & Earl. Easy games but fun.

How long did that take? and hour? hour and a half? I bought that game when it came out, the first time through it was awesome, after that... WAY too easy.

took me about 3 days a couple hours each. half the time i was just messing around in the levels, finding gaps and such.

Megaman X

I beat Megaman 6 the other day. Most people say that Megaman 2 is the easiest one, but I think it's 6. I only ended up using two boss weapons throughout the game.

My copy of Megaman 1 came in Friday, but the post office desk was closed when I got there. I'll nab it tomorrow and finish off the last NES Megaman game I have to beat.

After that I don't know what I'll move on to. Maybe Metroid or Ninja Gaiden.

Well, I just beat Shadow of the Colossus. The ending is awesome, even if I really didn't care about the main character (this time). The ending's interesting because it has interactive bits, even though said bits are unwinnable and kind of pointless. No alternate endings here!

So, that unlocks hard mode and time attack, which offers nice replayability (of course, it's awesomeness alone warrants that).

... Also, I can now officially say that it is definitely ... Ya got that?

Finished Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty yesterday. I actually sort of enjoyed the game. Had a great story and plot to it, but I still prefer the first game as it felt like you were really a one man army and what not. But still good nontheless.

Harmony of Dissonance, Med ending, ill just have to get pieces of vlad Later.

I found that game too easy. But, it was still fun.

Anyway, recently I have finished Sonic 1, 2 and 3 and Sonic Adventure as the robot. Next up is gun.

Harmomny of Dissonance good ending
while wathcing my bro play resident evil 4 again, making me wanna play it again.he beat it again.ill beat it again.

I beat '' for NES.

This is a generic action/fighting side-scroller. It kind of plays like 'Double Dragon' with guns. Very loosely based on the movie. The Mel Gibson character looks more like he belongs in an 80's glam rock band (and he fights like it too).
Not recommended, unless you just want to add another easy game to your conquered list.

And I finished my first ever Sega CD game ''.

This is a good example of how CD-ROM technology can produce interactive animation. Unfortunately it is terrible in terms of game play. You mostly just press up,down, left, right, button at the correct time to advance to the next scene. The game doesn't make it obvious which buttons you're supposed to press either. It's just a matter of "play it until you have memorized it" in order to get through it.
Fun to watch but hardly playable.

Sadly that's a very common genre on the SegaCD. if you want to see some almost good use of FMV in games, check out Sewer Shark, or Silpheed on the SegaCD. Sewer Shark is tolerable, Silpheed is most excellent.

Haha sweet, I've got a Space Ace poster!

Conquered Half-Life 2 on the Xbox today, I was amazed at the length of it for a FPS.

I think it took me a good 13 hours to get through it.

Excellent game by the way, if you don't have a PC capable of playing it, the Xbox version is very playable. And the physics are pretty much fully intact in this port. it does lag a little at times, but that's to be expected.

Conquered Half-Life 2 on the Xbox today, I was amazed at the length of it for a FPS.

I think it took me a good 13 hours to get through it.
The original 'Half-Life' is long too. It took me a week to get through that one. I highly recommend finding the DreamCast version of it (although you're not going to find it on an actual retail disc).

I like it simply because I prefer the dual-thumbsticks controls over the mouse/keyboard. The frame-rate is poor (only 30fps), though it still looks better than 'Halo 2' could ever hope to be.

last night i conquered MKDS. golds in all cups, i unlocked ROB. i still have to play the missions and do the time trials, but fot the most, it's finished

Keep in mind that it wasn't released due to the fact that it causes the Dreamcast to overheat. I can confirm this because I played it, and then I reset the console only to be greeted with a scrambled mess of a "dashboard"

30fps usually, though just after a load screen, it can drop to about 4fps for a few seconds. and there were a few instances where I felt it was a bit too slow for optimal gameplay.

I also prefer the dual thumbsticks to a keyboard and mouse, I find that I can't play PC games for any length of time.

i dont prefer, either thumbstickes or mouse and Keyboard.

I beat Battle Squadron for the Genesis. It seems to be easy but by the time your on the third level it is super hard. It took me this whole weekend to beat it. Sadly after defeating the boss who seems to never die this is all you get:

The game then continues to loop back over to the beginning.

The entire empire is on one ship? Who planned one?

Today I beat Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow with 100% map.

I kinda cheated though and looked online to find some of the secret rooms because I didn't want to spend 10 hours hitting all the walls in the several hundred rooms to find the rest.

Finished Megaman X8 on Normal setting. Pretty difficult and fun game but after 11 tries I managed to beat the final boss. Gonna replay it some other time and get all the endings and all the POWer ups. I recommened you pick this one up.

Finished "Another Code" (for DS, "Trace Memory" in the US). Took only 6 hours, so I'll walk through it a second time.

Conquered Still Life, point n click adventure game by Microids, developer of Syberia. God, they know how to make GOOD FMV's. Another masterpiece by Microids. Took 5 hours. There must be sequel, considering how game ended.

I have conquered Call of Duty 2 on my freeloaded 360.

Well, my newest conquering is actually an old conquering of mine done in a new way....

Castlevania got conquered with the .

I also conquered CVII with it, but that's not near as impressive because it's a slower moving game. ZEN and I are going to try and figure out a good way to tape me doing that with the for all to see

I just beat Max Payne 1 for the PS2. God, this game was hard. It's one of the best 1st person shooters I have ever played.

Now, I am starting to play Castle Shikigami 2. It's a nice shooter, but hard as hell so far. I haven't even gotten to the 3rd stage yet without wasting all my continues.

Max Payne is third person... and really not that hard, due to the automagically adjusting difficulty. The only part that should have given you any real problem was hitting the damned bolts/clamps/whatever the hell they are at the end.

Max Payne is third person... and really not that hard, due to the automagically adjusting difficulty. The only part that should have given you any real problem was hitting the damned bolts/clamps/whatever the hell they are at the end.

Those were a pain.

I also think the 1st time you enter the Acer Corp building, the 3 men you have to snipe are ridiculously to get to. They keep throwing grenades at you and you have to keep going back and forth behind the pole. Sometimes it still damages you. I threw my controller down a couple of times because of that hard mission. After that, everything was just really sneaky.

Edit: I'm still getting used to using the analog stick for FPS games. I'm used to a keyboard and mouse.

I beat Yoshis Story last night in about 40 minutes. That game is really fun but so short .

Finished Megaman Extreme on the Gameboy Color. Pretty good game, it mixes some levels and bosses from MM X1 and MMX2.

I blasted my way through Gun on the PS2 again. It took me about 9-10 hours to get 100%. Time flys when you're having Gun

I also got the "In water" ending of Silent Hill 2. I'm planning on getting the other endings before moving on to part 3. I'm really Hooked on the horror genre again right now.

EDIT: err... make that Gun on the GameCube.... I don't have the PS2 version (and I haven't even been drinking!)

Just completed Onimusha 2 Samurais Destiny on PS2 and I must say I really enjoyed this game alot. I was looking for a ps2 game and they didnt have the first game so I got this. Glad I did, now its time to get the first and third game.

Dragon Quest VIII.
The Lord of the Rings: The Third Age.

Beat Story Mode on Tony Hawk's American Wasteland for the Xbox. took about... 5 hours of play. nothing even moderately challenging.

NOW I'm playing "Classic Mode" and enjoying such classic stages as The Mall, Chicago, and Minneapolis.

that makes me want that!

Bugs Bunny's Birthday Blowout

Helped Bugs make his 50th birthday party. Unfortunately he was a little late, seeming as he must be about 65 now.

well, last night i got the shitty ending for Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow. or atleast i HOPE that was the shitty ending....

i got around 75% map completion, so i've still got plenty of play value left of it. hopefully i'll get the good ending this time around

I beat Sonic Adventure DX as Sonic and the robot. A fun game but helluvah glitches and stuff.

Treasure Island Dizzy

I've beaten all the NES Dizzys now and although this isn't the longest it's probably the hardest. You die straight away if you touch anything you're not supposed to and only have one life. That makes the game a little bit too frustrating which is a shame because I like Dizzy games. Also you have to collect 30 coins and some of them are hidden in the stupidest places.

Don't worry, you won't be disappointed.

oops. i was 81.5% done, not 75%

Beat Megaman 2 & 3 again last night. I love that series, I just wish I had Megaman 1,4,5, and 6 .

Beat Princess Toamato in the Salad Kingdom. I started it a few months ago, then got stuck and lost interest, but finally picked it up again a week or so ago. One of the stranger games on the NES. I recommend it.

Beat Project Rub (Feel the Magic XY/XX).

Nice game, but a bit short.

That's just too funny.
"Project Rub"
What a horrible name to go along with that cover.

Finished Shenmue. Kicked some major ass at the end.

you mean that game has an end.

Well you know what I mean. I arrived at the start of Shenmue 2. I hope Sega do make a Shenmue 3 at some point otherwise Ryo will never get his revenge. Which will be a shame because he seems to have a lot of pent-up aggression.

if I remember right, they planned on 9 games to tell the whole story.

I think the current project in the Shenmue series is Shenmue Online though.

I hope so. I'm sure it would sell well. I hope it's also not exclusively online game, as that would put some people off who don't play online.

Mario Lostlevels(2 in Japan as you all know)
i have a pic ill get it up soon
i only used one WArp Zone it was from world 5-7.

Got the bad ending on Duck Tales 2. Need to find all those treasure maps now. I only got 3.

Finished Megaman 7 on the anniversary collection again. Wily is sort of hard at the end.

Finally got around to beating "I'm OK: A Murder Simulator".

Wily Kicked my ass Way to many times

i stopped using the spring and started using the Buster gun. and i finally beat him.

What pissed me off is thats the Same Wily boss thats in Megaman 8.

FInished Megaman X1 at a buds house yesterday. I mastered that game, I know where EVERYTHING is. And spencer I have yet to beat Wily in Megaman8, im too lazy to go through the castle again.

yes thats how i felt but one day i popped it in and kicked wily's Ass

and X1 is like the easiest to know everything. i knew everything in that like 8 years ago when i didnt have an SNES. anyways yeah congrats.

Beat Little Samson the other day, pretty fun game

I beat Dead Or Alive 4 as Tina and Ninja Hayabusha.

I beat SMB3 at 4 in the morning with no warps! It took me about 3 hours.

bust-a-move-99 wasnt too hard but i liked it.

Got through Super Metroid. My first time through it took a little over six hours with 74% item completion. I'll run through it again sometime, as I find this to be a really fun game. Prime is still my favorite though... SM is pretty high up in the Metroid series however.

Conquered Resident Evil 4 yesterday, today I unlocked the Chicago typewriter, so the second conquering should be happening in a few hours.

so how'd you like it? do you think it lives up to the hype?

so how'd you like it? do you think it lives up to the hype?

it's surely the best RE game ever. one of the best Cube games ever. and should be in evereyone's collection.

i'm glad you liked it

You know luke ive beaten it twice and never did get the Chicago Typewriter. Wonder what happens if you beat it a third..

you do have to buy it you know.

Didnt even know that. Thanks for the tip.

You have to beat Assignment Ada, then it becomes available from the merchant for $1000000 (worth every penny) I saved up money for half of the game, then sold everything I had (after some careful math to be sure I would have enough) because you don't need any other guns. 10 firePOWer + infinite ammo = win.

Vampire Chronice for DC .

but its always fun to use other stuff like Magnums and Rifles and Shotguns
not to mention the Handgun.

OHHH, Im no good at Assignment Ada. No wonder I couldnt buy it. Well, I finished Megaman X4 with Zero and X5 with Zero a couple of days ago. X5 was way more easier with Zero IMO.

Conquered "Black" today. awesome FPS, but way too short. the "cutscenes" are also moronic, and un-skippable the first time through. but the graphics, gameplay, and sound are all top notch. Black 2 on the 360 should be one godly beast, if there's more length to it.

I was thinking of buying Black but if it's really as short as you say i think i will rent it first.

I was thinking of buying Black but if it's really as short as you say i think i will rent it first.

Yeah, you can buzz through it in a rental period for sure. I think my play time on Normal difficulty was 6:00, maybe 5:30, and I died a bunch of times too.

I'm keeping it, because it'll be a great game to test out a new TV, and Home Theater System with.

I've beaten Super Mario 64 for the first time (yes), now to beat the last 4 levels and get the last stars.

Finally complete Megaman 8 on the annivesary collection. Wily wasnt nearly as hard as I made him out to be. Since theres no E-tanks all I had for healing was Rush Aid.

Metroid II the return of Samus, its not as good as any of the others, and i had the file to where i needed 5 Metroids left before i started this morning.

Sonic Adventure 2 Battle. Beaten it like 10 times.

I just beat Streets of Rage 3

i didnt like sonic adventure 2, because i actualy wanted to play as Sonic.

Conquered Metroid: Zero Mission. I don't want to give away too much information for those that have played it, but that was a nice twist towards the end of the game. I really liked playing through this game alot... awesome remake.

i didnt like sonic adventure 2, because i actualy wanted to play as Sonic.

You can play as him. Just not as much. I kind of liked playing as Eggman but that gets old. And the final battle at the end with Super Sonic and Super Shadow where you have to fight FinalHazerd the battle was really easy and very quick to beat.

Yeah, I think he knew that.. I liked SA2 a little more, because of the way the game was laid out. I didn't really like the 6 hour scenes you HAD to watch.

Some of the cutscenes were really nice. Like the final one where Shadow "Dies". Play Sonic Heroes and finds out he is a clone. But I think most of you knew that. So really where is the "Real" Shadow?

I've never really been able to get into Shadow as a character. He's always seemed pretty contrived to me. Now, ... there's a good antihero (at least on the Gameboy games).

i hate how like anyone at my school who even likes sonic a tiny bit likes shadow more than everyone in all sonic games that makes me mad, he just too overrated.

When it comes to Sonic, I was always a Knuckles man, meself.

Maybe in character stance, but his levels on Sonic 2 are really anoyying in my opinion, I wish he would get some good stages instead of scavenger hunts.

So far this week:

Bump 'n Jump (This is a hard game...and repetitious)
Super Mario Bros. (In a personal best: 16mins!)

This afternoon I polished off "project gotham 3" for xbox 360.
Perfect Dark Zero is up next.

Conquered Black on hard mode... such a great game. it would have been so much more if it had multiplayer or something...

I will be buying this game soon! I loved it when I rented it........ Great game!

An interesting anecdote related to my conquering of Shadow of the Colossus:

While I was playing Hard mode on Shadow of the Colossus, I got a little diverted and amused myself by shooting lizards... when I discovered that by eating them, you can increase your strength!

I mentioned this to my friend, who replied, "Duh. Wait, you didn't know that? So you beat without ever leveling up?"

I felt somewhat hardcore at that moment... so I've restarted my Hard game, and am now setting out to beat it without ever increasing my strength, as well.

Finished Megaman x8 on Easy just to see what the crappy ending was like...and trust me its crappy.

I just beat The Mask on the SNES

Metroid Zero mission, for GBA 100% 5 and i half hours, with three things i needed to look up to get/find,.

I came across my old b/w Game Boy I haven't used for about 10 years and thought I'd see if it was still working. I slotted in Super Mario Land just for a test but then got into it and played to the end. Shame there's only 12 levels. Apart from that it's a neat little game.

I finished off Shattered Union for the X-Box last night, workin' my way through Leisure Suit Larry: Magna Cum Laude currently.

Super Metroid, 49 % and 2 hours and 1 minute.

I just beat Super Princess Peach for DS

I conquered a couple of games today. After purchasing all those games in Kentucky (a few of which I've REALLY been wanting), I decided to play some today.

Bionic Commando

Super C

... also, about a month ago I plowed through Monster Party. I don't think I posted about it though:

And here's something even more cool. My wife has been getting gradually better at Metroid Fusion... like, REALLY good. Since we got the GBA Player for the Cube, I've been able to watch her play. Check out this ending:

100% in 2 hours and 17 minutes. That's pretty damn good too. She said that her Goal right now is under 2 hours.

so how'd you like Monster Party?

how is that anyways?

EDIT by NES-Luke: fixed the quote so Andy boy doesn't look like he's talking to himself like a nutbar.

Well, my wife just did what she set out to do. Metroid Fusion in under 2 hours. 1 hour and 57 minutes to be exact.

Congratulations, Mrs. Roth!!

Well, my wife just did what she set out to do. Metroid Fusion in under 2 hours. 1 hour and 57 minutes to be exact.

I have to admit I know nothing about this game... Are all the chicks in the game as attractive/hot as that one?

BTW, tell her congrats!

Last time i tried to play that, it was soooooooo boring, so i played snake eater....online.

Not to mention, i will get my pic up, mybrother and i beat Metal Gear(MSX)
and already have many hours on Metal Gear online.

I think she is the ONLY chick in the game, and you only get to see her when you win.

Thanks, I'll let her know you guys gave her congradurations

Actually finished Megaman zero 1 and 2 on the GBA couple days ago..Now im working on zero 3.

how is that anyways?

EDIT by NES-Luke: fixed the quote so Andy boy doesn't look like he's talking to himself like a nutbar.

I think its a really good game. It may be "another platformer" from the Mario franchise, but its got a lot of stuff to unlock and is a really good addition to anyone's DS collection.

By the way...am I the only one to play Super Princess Peach on these forums?

I want to play the peach game but I'm broke for another 2 1/2 weeks. Plus I might have a hard time rationalizing why I'm spending $35 on a game (regardless it's my hard earned money).

I beated '' for the first time ever.

Solid side-scrolling 'Contra/Metal Slug' style action game. The boss fights are definitely the high-lights of the entire experience (although the multiple "guild quests" are nowhere near as good as in 'Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind').
It's not too difficult, but manages to be hard enough to be challenging without much frustration.

That's Sega Genesis conquered game .

although the multiple "guild quests" are nowhere near as good as in 'Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind').

I beat Wario Land. Didn't get enough loot to get the best ending so may have to work on that.

I just beat The Death and Return of Superman on SNES

Finished Metroid Fusion a little bit ago.

Not conquered to the same extent as Mrs. Roth though...

5:22 and 42% item completion

I beat Wario Land. Didn't get enough loot to get the best ending so may have to work on that.

Jeez, I just realized that I never finished Wario Land... I had gotten to the final boss, but I had never got around to beating him... crap, I hope the cartridge still has my save intact.

Just finished aladdin on the Gamegear. Its an alright platformer and its way too short..but its good to play through at least once.

Shadowgate (because a user's avatar reminded me of the game; sorry I don't know everyone's names yet), and Deja Vu to see if I remembered where everything was. I did. These games don't even really the batteries after you've conquered them, I think.

That would probably be LordJair.

Oh, and I forgot to post this earlier, but I beat the new Gauntlet game, Seven Sorrows a while back. Good game, but it's only worth a rental.

Rather than going for replayability and quick arade-y action, they made it into a Gauntlet/Lord of the Rings/King of Dragons hybrid. It's very fun, but only four characters available, there are no secret characters that I could find, and the only real diversity that I could find between characters was that the wizard owns.

Bosses are cheap, but not very hard. Very little replayability, unless you want to continue playing with your character, or see how the other three characters look with better armor/weapons.

DDR max 2 got all songs and beat the ones that're fun, inlcuding maxx unlimited.
DDR Exetreme same as up there but i didn't clear the Max song,
DDR konamix all but Max 300.

Super MArio world

Bust-a-move '99

Beat "Magic Of Scheherazade" a couple of days ago. That one was certainly worth the $1 yard sale price. Now, I've got to get busy on, believe it or not, FF1. I've owned that game for over 2 years and haven't played it yet...I was inspired to by OSG's "Solo White Mage" thread.

I just finished Vectorman

Finished both Oracle of Ages and Oracle of Seasons in a linked game.

Completed Megaman X Command Mission on the cube. Its a good game and pretty linear for an RPG and not that deep, Its good for a 1 play through though at least. The game was made mostly to hold people over for Megaman X8 before it came out. I recommend at least a rent on this

Conquered Bram Stoker's Dracula for the NES today. This game is pretty much sub-par, but if you want a decent challenge give it a try. Word of adVice, if you want to actually get through this game, start off on Hard mode. Medium only allows you to play the first four days of the game, and after that tells you to try a harder mode.

That's actually pretty damn funny... Have you get far into it, then suddenly:
"Nice try. Do it again, and be a man this time, sucker."

Megaman 2 NES
Megaman 2 GameBoy
almost Kingdom Hearts, at end of Hollow Bastion

I have completed Megaman Maverick Hunter X a couple days ago on the psp.
Very nice remake to Megaman X, I suggest anyone that likes Megaman should play it, very fun game.

Just beat Robot Alchemic Drive... Made sure that everything went well for all of the irritating sub characters.

However, I just found out that you can drive one of them to suicide, so my second time around, I'll make all of the irritating sub characters absolutely miserable.

Yoshi's Island

That's cool, my wife just conquered the GBA port of that game. She was in the process of getting all of the items in all of the levels, but then she got side-tracked by Brain Age

Anyway, I just conquered Frankenstein for the NES. It's a... decent game. You pretty much have to get to the final boss with almost every extra life you can get. I had fun going through it though

A similar thing happened to me. On something like three separate occasions I tried to beat Yoshi's Island 100% but always got sidetracked. Some of the secret levels are really hard especially when trying to collect everything.

I couldn't even figure out how to get near that Grim Reaper guy, I shudder to think how cheap old Frankie was.

The Grim Reaper is pretty easy As long as you don't get hit by the time you get to him, you can just shoot him with your magic (or whatever the hell it is). If you don't have that, just get close enough that his scythe won't hit you when he swings it, then go in with a hit.

Yeah, Franky is pretty cheap... and just when you think you beat him, you don't... and just when you think you beat him finally, you don't! Ha! Classic.

I've beaten a lot since I've posted one here....so I'll just name my most recent one.

Chrono Cross

Wait... you can shoot?!

Yes you can. After beating some of the enemies on the first screen (two-legged, not the blue guys), they will drop an orb looking deal. Duck on top of that. Voila... you can shoot. That is, until you take damage.

Just got done conquering A Nightmare on Elm Street. Very solid game, but it does take some practice on the controls. The attack feels sluggish somewhat. Good fun though.

Note: After I took the pic, the words "... or has it?" appeared at the bottom. Unfortunately, I had already shut off my camera at this point, and by the time the damn thing turned back on, the title screen popped up

For the past few months, I've been playing Son Son for the Famicom and yesterday, I finally beat it. I think I would have done so alot sooner had I been playing with another player. But I've been going solo.

It had a pretty cool ending, but it came and went so quickly that I didn't get to capture it with my camera. After you beat the game, you start over and you play through the game again, but you maintain your score and it's alot harder.

Anyways, I think getting through it once was a pretty good accomplishment.

Here's some pictures of the score I beat the game with, and another with my score after I died in the second run through.

Good scoreage. I've got that one on Capcom Arcade Classics, for some reason it's one of the more addictive ones on there. Maybe that Bubble Bobble attraction of food greediness?

Ok, I didn't conquer per se, but I do have the best score one can get...

oh man, don't tell me you're Hooked on those damned sudokus too?

Yesterday I completed all the cups in Mario Kart DS, in the 50cc class, using Wario. Today or tommorow i'll try the 100cc class.
It's a pretty fun game, although I couldn't really "get" into it a first. As soon as I progressed more, it definatley become more enjoyable. There's some cool courses, and the "retro" cup is a welcome bonus, although I wish there were some more courses from the original Mario Kart in it. I reccommend this game highly, so if you've got a DS you should really consider it, although I assume (maybe wrongly) most people on here who own one have it.
Next up is Project Gotham Racing 3 (on "hard" difficulty) and Sonic Rush.

Damn straight. It's the POWer of the beergut.

I just beat Ecco The Tides of Time on Genesis

Zelda II: The Adventure of Link

i had been working on it for a long time now, i just kinda went right through the GREAT PALACE at the end like as if i knew what i was doing, but i didn't.

Just Conquered Pariah for the Xbox.

What a bore-fest. It tries to be Halo 2 and Half-Life 2, and comes close to neither. Thankfully it was only $10 CDN brand new.

Aw, damn... how was the map editor?

Ive conquered The Punisher on the arcade last night. Very fun beat em up to play, I enjoyed it alot. Capcom probably made the best beat em ups.

Shoot, I forgot to keep up with my conquered games, I'm still pissed over the FF1 cartridge battery dying. I read in another post that someone beat FF1 in a marathon 24-hour session (was it Roth)?
Anyway, so far this week:
Super Mario Bros. (not as good as I used to be, I tend to mash the run button a bit too much, anyway),
Mike Tyson's Punch-Out
Wizards & Warriors 1
**EDIT**: Holy leaping winged turtles, Batman! I'm a Koopa Paratroopa now! Just noticed.

It was a nice touch to a console game, but it was ultimately pretty plain too.

Yes sir, sure was... that was when I had more patience though.

I conquered Gremlins 2 finally. What an awesome game. I love all the challenge of the conveyors over pits, and the enemies taking more than one shot (if you don't have the POWer-up). Very fun game indeed.

I beat "Children of Mana" today.

FIN... you can see my camera in the photo.

I just finished up "Black" on Black Ops mode, it's now 100% complete.

Total play time is 29:43.

For a game that's so short, I've got substantially more time into it than I do into Half-Life 2. That must show just how good it is while it lasts.

Just conquered Kid Klown in between painful sessions of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. This game is pretty awesome actually. It has an average storyline, but it's still pretty entertaining. You can do lots of cool stuff with your balloons (which is your weapon) like jump off of them, throw them in many directions, and float with them.

By the way, after conquering the game, they give you a button sequence to enter at the title screen to activate hard mode. This game was made by Kemco, yet check out the sequence:

U,U,D,D,L,R,L,R,B,A

Just a tad familiar, no? Anyway, here's my pic:

Just finished up Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy.

That game is excellent.

It's an extremely well made action platformer, lots of puzzles, lots of awesome platforming... it's just incredible.

Anyone who doesn't rush out and grab it immediately is insane.

Finished Suikoden V , Chip 'n Dales rescue rangers on NES and Kid Klown.

If your into RPGS you need to get Suikoden V. Very long and fun game to play with an excellent story. It has very much improved over the 3 and 4 games GREATLY by going back to the old school style gameplay. I highly suggest it.

Since last night I've conquered Street Fighter 2010 II: Hyper Fighting and Final Fight on the Capcom Classics Collection for the XBox, and I finished up Grand Prix mode on Mario Kart DS. Finally have all the karts and characters unlocked.

EDIT: Just finished Street Fighter 2010 II on the Capcom Collection. (yes, Hyper Fighting and SFII are different)

Is the capcom collection worth 12$?
That's the price I saw it for in a toy store (XBox).

I Hooked up my Japanese N64 I bought in Japan last year and played a bit Yoshi's Story. And after fooling around a bit it was over already. Very easy game, now I might try to access all the other levels I left out.

I just beat Destroy all Humans on Xbox a most excellent game.

Is the capcom collection worth 12$?
That's the price I saw it for in a toy store (XBox).

Definitely. it's an awesome collection of awesome games. There's also art, remixed music (that, in some cases can be substituted for the normal game music while playing), and tips that can be unlocked.

Yeah, it's worth that price and more. It always surprises me how inexpensive the collections of old arcade games are. Lucky for us retro game lovers.
I finally finished Final Fantasy 1 tonight. Level 41, maxed out gold, cabins, houses, tents, etc. Very fun game.
I guess I'll try for the maximum level next.

Just finished New Super Mario Bros. on the DS. Now I can play as Luigi.

Just need to go back and finish the rest of the levels I missed.

Hey Luke how do you like the game?

Splatterhouse 2 -final boss is a real pain- currently working on Rolo to the rescue.

It's great, a real SMB game. My biggest problems with it are the "vocals" in the music, and the fact that it's on the DS. I don't really like handhelds all that much.

Just completed Darkman.

Worst ending ever.

Yup thats it.

Just finished story mode on Tony Hawk's American Sk8land for the DS. It seemed even easier than the console version... Fortunately the WiFi is a redeeming factor on this version, and it was a good $20 cheaper than the console version.

Just went through and conquered today: Super Mario Bros. 1 (not the arcade Vs. version discussed earlier, but the original NES console cart).
Super Mario Bros. 2, and my wife's patience actually lasted clear through to world 6 of SMB 3.
Odd question, however: is it a conquerage if you use the warp zones in Super Mario games (especially 2)? I just wanted to make a quick run through them. I don't usually use the warp zones.

Finished Little Samson on easy mode...looks like I need to go through on normal now to get the REAL ending.

I think I finished . I say "I think" because I played through all the stages, and it looped back to stage 1. by that point I was tired of playing to see if it was on hard mode or not, so I just stopped.

EDIT: Just watched the credits roll on Halo 2. I won't say I finished it, because that ending was so terribly disappointing, it doesn't even qualify as an end.

HALO 2 ENDING:

Master Cheif: What do you mean there are 7 more halos?

Bill gates: C'mon I need a gold cover house and yard.

Played through Street Fighter 2010 2 Turbo as Guile. Great game.

A friend and I finished Rampage: World Tour last night, and there could have been a warning that the game was ending--after over two hours of play and scores of over three million points each, our fingers, on autopilot, punched in our initials as "AAA."
All that work down the crapper.

I finished Ocarina Of Time today. Ganandorf and Ganon were easier than expected.

My hard drive decided to self destruct a couple of weeks ago and in my time offline I managed to beat (all NES):

Castlevania II - About time really, I've only had the game for about 15 years.

Monster in my Pocket - An average game. Not bad but then not particularly good either.

Mario's Time Machine - I was drunk when I did this one. I don't think I'd want to do it sober.

Well, I just beat Asterix. For some reason, I was completely nonstalgic while playing through it, though I'm positive I've never played it before... maybe because it is standard for good platorm games.

Great personality, unfairly catchy and pleasant music, (if a bit cutesy. Gauls aren't cutesy! They're manlymen!), nigh perfect presentation of the cartoons/comics, and thoroughly solid gameplay.

Staying true to my 'ol moniker, I went and beat this here game, about 20 minutes ago, for the bajillionth time:
Heh. I never get tired of it.

I beat Kong on the Xbox. Now I need to go back and earn enough points to see the other ending.

Also tore through Gunstar Heroes again recently, but that happens every few weeks/months anyway.

Beat: Renegade
Iromsword
Ninja Gaiden II
Blazing Lazers (TurboGrafx 16..)

Recently I've conquered:

I noticed I had a crap load of games not updated on my conquered page, but it's being fixed right now.

By the way, Silver Surfer isn't as hard as everyone makes it out to be. I sat down with it for a solid day and ended up conquering it. I think I had more problems with POWer Blade 2.

^^I had a great laugh over that Donkey Kong conquerage...isn't it not really conquerage until you get to the cement factory level? Or were you playing the NES version?
...I conquered Megaman 1 last night. I've got to get off m' butt and conquer 3-6 one of these days. 3 is just...difficult.

Megaman 3 can't be that difficult. I mean, >><< beat it.

I can get through all the robot masters fine on 3, but when it comes to the part where they repeat themselves and morph into the bosses from #2 that I usually get stuck. I'll get it one of these days.

Just beated NSMB. Now going back and finding new area's and such.

Conquered .

That ^^ is some cool conquering, I've never seen anyone beat that one, everyone I know loses patience with it. I just keep forgetting what the different jellybeans do, and I'm too lazy to write it down .

I finally picked up my game to finish it.

Ha!

I beat Mario and Luigi Partners in Time!

Yay! I finally won a game! (It's been a while)

I had thought you'd disappeared in another thread, Jenni ^^, my bad.
I'm not sure if it's conquering, but I got through a lot of screens of Miss World '96 Nude on MAME. It's Qix with a twist...the picture is actually worth revealing !
Also, one of the weirdest games I've ever seen, and I've seen some odd 'uns!

on my trip i finally finished Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow. i just had to beat the final boss, and for some reason i was being a n00b about it. i finished it at 98% i have no clue what to do to get the full 100%

I played through the story mode on Tony Hawks American Wasteland for Xbox 360. There's now the classic mode to complete and a few minor missions in the story mode (minor in the sense as not doing doesn't stop you finishing story mode, but need to be beaten for 100% completion)

Finally finished the flash game . I originally played this when it was first released, but could never finish it. I'm quite proud of myself

Next comes the

oh god Hapland! we used to play that all the time in networking. took me awhile to beat it

Ran through last night. I ran through it two times in a row as a matter of fact, just to make sure there wasn't a hidden ending. If you have/do finish it, you'll see what I mean.

I'm currently working on Lolo 2 right now, and I'm up to world 8.

I also started making movie recordings as well. I've only done so far. There will be more to come as well. I'll be putting them on my conquered page as well. The movies will stay in .vmv format, but if you want to turn them into avi's, it's an easy process using VirtuaNES (which is what I'm using to record).

EDIT: I just did , since it's GotW on NES Forums.

Just finished Far Cry Instincts on the Xbox. Great game, I'll be buying Predator for sure when I finally get my 360.

Finished Metroid after a lot of frustration trying to beat that Mother Brain bitch.

That's my 50th NES game beaten.

Today I beated Sonic 2 on the Sonic&Knuckles Lock on cart.

I just beat Time Crisis 2 in 14:09 with a score of 995,860. I need a Twin Galaxy referee...that's 8th place!

Ran through The Bugs Bunny Birthday Blowout. Kind of fun, but the screen scrolls weirdly... almost skipping it seems.

Overall a decent game though.

Just beat Psychonauts again... the circus level is a pain in the aaaaasssss...

On tuesday and today I beated:
Sonic&Knuckles- Knuckles story.
Sonic 1
Sonic 2.

Casino Kid 2. Not as good as Casino Kid. The only new thing they added was Roulette, which sucks. Also they took out all the humour from the first game.

Finally beat Hulk: Ultimate Distruction (been on the back burner for a while). Not too bad a game but the gameplay kinda gets old, and the last boss is hell .

I conquered Space Shuttle Project. Pretty cool game overall. The movie and pic are . I've also got an SMB3 movie up if you want to see that as well.

Beat Krusty's Fun House. Best Simpsons game on the NES I reckon. Shame the password system is a bit crappy.

glad you got around to conquering Space Shuttle Project, Roth.

Thanks man, I'm glad you mentioned the game in the first place since I had never even heard of it! Turned out cool.

If anyone's interested, I have movies of SMB, SMB2, Double Dragon, and Monster In My Pocket up now. Don't expect too much out of SMB

Well, I conquered that Black Mage Mario Hack last night. It's the first conquerage in awhile; I've got so many games I'm working on, I can't decide which one to stick with!

Metroid prime
Metal Gear solid
Metal Gear solid 3
Megaman 2 6 times
Megaman 3
Megaman 4
Megaman 5
Megaman
Megaman X
Megaman X4
Zelda - 0ot
a whole shitload of others...

by the way guys .....im back.

Oi, good to see ya. Made nice with Luke?

Great Waldo Search. There are a total of 5 levels which take about a minute each to complete. Yes that's a whole 5 minutes in all. Even the books take longer to go through than that.

one day i saw him on MSN and i talked to him....

SuperMarioBros.
Super Mario 3
Zelda II: The Adventure of Link

Mario sunshine..
Resident Evil 4..again.

Fire 'n Ice. Nice puzzle game that gives the brain a proper workout.

Just finished Golden Axe (arcade version), I'd forgotten how short that game actually is. That one brought back a lot of memories!

On wedsday I played Streets of Rage 2 and got to the end where the final boss with a gun killed me and I got a GAME OVER.

well....

Today I beat Streets of Rage 2 with Skates he is the coolest in that game. Also the game was on normal mode I may add.

Blasted through NARC and Total Carnage on Midway Classics II last night; it got to 104 degrees and I guess that just put me in a dangerous mood game-wise!

Today I beated:
Rocket Knight Adventures.

We are just making baby milk!

During my off time I conquered quite a few titles.
Aside from (which was much harder than I thought it would be).

Others were for Super Nintendo.
on the Genesis.
for XBOX.

Finally, complete and total rear-end crushing of the TurboGrafx-16:

And although it's not technically finishing the game, I did beat Stage 3 of for Atari 2600. Afterwards, it just keeps repeating Stage 3 over and over endlessly.

That's about it.

I may be slow on this info but is that you Z.E.N?

Today I beated:

Sonic 2 lock on with Knuckles.

will accept no substitutes!
But thanks for asking (whoever you are).

On a side note... I really miss airfiggy.

And major congrats to daynum for knocking off 'Fire 'n Ice'. That's one of the most "puzzling" games ever created.

EDIT: I quoted my last post so that my huge accomplishments will be at the top of this page.

And it's easier to read and looks "cooler" aginst the black background.

Shadow of the Colossus was conquered this morning. Absolutely fantastic game, crippled by the junky hardware of the PS2.

I had some trouble with that last boss... I was VERY annoyed...

I had some trouble with that last boss... I was VERY annoyed...

That guy was quite the bastard, wasn't he?

The final boss battle, the pond/frog battle, and colliseum battle were my least favorite fights. Every other battle felt , like serious Jack the Giant Killer stuff, whereas those three just felt like repetitive boss battles (though still pretty cool, I'll give 'em that).

Since you've beaten it now, have you figured out how the hell to get to the Time Attack mode? I still can't figure it out.

Load your completed save, and press circle at the idols in the shrine, pretty simple...

OMFG DUBBLE POST!

After all the Neo Geo love .

I decided to see how some non-mame emulators would perform on my machine. Kawaks ran very well. I ended up going through Metal Slug, and Mars Matrix. I used far more continues than should be considered healthy...

Today I beat Call Of Duty 2 on the Xbox 360. Next up is Tomb Raider Legends, then an N64 game.

Me and a friend last night beat Rollergames and Little Samson. I don't get why so many people slam Rollergames, the game isn't too difficult and the controls are completely responsive. One of the few games thats way better than reviews give it credit for.

Geez...another changed avatar! That one-armed staff wielder was cool!
Anyway, I conquered Kid Icarus last night. Well, in my opinion, half-conquered, because I didn't get the ultimate ending.
This is another game I think I'll be playing until I die...I never get sick of it.

Yeah... Armless Staff Man was my hero.

Crap, did that come out wrong?

I like Rollergames. The skating sets it apart from other beat 'em ups and adds pace to the game. Little Samson is also a good game.

I agree 100%. I loved Rollergames.

I wish I could get a copy of Little Samson though... It goes for like $40 on ebay . I played the Emulated game for a few minutees, it seemed very addictive. Played much like Megaman.

Beat another game between me and a friend tonight. Abadox. I'd like to meet masoumi and tell him what a crappy player he is. This game is supposedly notorious for its difficulty, but to be completely honest, the Gradius series far surpasses this game in difficulty. If you have patience and don't mind keeping with the game (its got infinite continues for a reason) its worth at least a play-thru.

This morning, I beat Splatterhouse: Wanpaku Graffiti for Famicom. This game is short, easy, and fun. It's definitely worth at least a play through. Me and a friend also got to level 4 on Holy Diver, but that stage was difficult to the point of being not worth it. Its so sweet, its sort of like a Castlevania game, only much MUCH harder.

Today I beat-
Mario 64, getting 80 stars, new file started this morning.
Goldeneye, on all difficulties
Wave Race 64, championship mode on all difficulties.

Up next - Pilotwings, on the SNES.

Good luck with PilotWings, it's a pain in the ass (well, at least for me it was).
I wasted Knights Of The Round and Darkstalkers 3 (with Anakaris; that was quite a struggle), yesterday.

DDR extreme II i beat Dance Master mode al the way through.

Just smoked Super Ghouls n Ghosts for SNES, didn't go through it a second time though..

Once more the Grand Sonic master of these boards, Beat Sonic 2 once more with the good ending.

Today I completed the New Super Mario Bros. for Nintendo DS. Not only that, I have acsess to worlds 4 & 7 thanks to Luke. I haven't unlocked all the levels yet though. That's my next Goal.

Great game but so short, Kind of kills it sadly.

Super Metroid for the first time in like 10 years. I appreciate it much more now having recently played through Metroid. I like how some of the map is the same including Mother Brain's base. And thank god you no longer have to run around for ages collecting energy everytime you die/save.

Congrats man...Super Metroid is the best game ever(and obviously this is My opinion...otherwise i wouldnt say it)

ChronoTrigger best ending. and then i continued so i could get another ending considering the best one you lose some story of it.

I did all sidequests...even though i only beat the black omen once it was in year 1000 so i could still go back in time and do it again.

Today I beat Sonic 3 with all Chaos Emeralds now I can turn into Super Sonic. Now I have to best Sonic 3 & Knuckles and get all the Super Chaos Emeralds and become Hyper Sonic!

Just beat Sonic3 & Knuckles with the Good ending, Doomsday zone was sweet!

dead Rising....
i did about half of the missions...so im going back to do the rest.

Between me and a friend, last night we beat Street Fighter 2010. It's one of our favorite games, and we finally had the patience to sit down and play through it. It's not as tough as you might expect, albeit its still no small feat. Anyone who has this game I suggest picking it up and playing through at least the first planet, and give the game a genuine chance.

I also enjoyed Street Fighter 2010 one of the first NES Games I had when I started collecting.

Today:

I beated, Sonic 2 with Knuckles and I had Super Knuckles unlocked!

Last night, beat with a friend:
Ninja Gaiden
Kick Master
Mike Tyson's Punchout
Almost beat Super Turrican, got stuck on the final level. This game is an awesome PAL only, like a blend of Metroid and Contra.

Beat Strider (NES) and GunSmoke (NES) last night. Strider was too easy.

Night Warrios Darkstalkers Revenge

Street Fighter 2010 Alpha 2

I beat Megaman 6 yesterday on the NES but wasn't fast enough to get a picture.

Just finished making a movie of Ninja Gaiden II: The Dark Sword of Chaos.

Fun ;)

I beat GUN last night. The last boss is a bitch, but it's good when you finally pwn him. Pretty crappy ending, i was hoping for like 80 minutes of cutscenes. Short, but great game with a few shortcomings.

Beat the first 3 mario's for NES in order and then beat Simon's Quest this weekend. I was a big lazy ass.

Over the week I have been playing alot of Super Monkey ball for N-Gage and today I unlocked all the Mini-Games.

i conquered NEW Super Mario Bros. yesterday. right now i'm working on getting all the coins, and am trying to figure out to to get to worlds 4 and 7

I explained this.

Beat the world 2 and 5 bosses as mini mario.

Is it not totally obvious when you watch the little animation and see a tiny tunnel below the normal pathway?

EDIT: I beat Far Cry Instincts on the Xbox for the second time a few days ago. Awesome, eh?

yeah i noticed that. i thought the little tunnel thing was because the path to it wasn't there. so no, no it's not totally obvious.

I beat Megaman 3 last night. Not as good as number 2 in my opinion.

Today I beat:

Megaman X, I collected all the Heart's and all the Sub-Tanks, And I tried the Ryu fire ball trick too. Very good game.

I'd appreciate a review/summary of that game. It's developed by a team that made one of my all-time favorite games, and I'm pretty interested based on the trailers I've seen. It'd be awesome if you could post that up in Modern Systems.

Today I beat:

Megaman 8. (PS1 VERSION), MM8 is a very good game with some Flaws. Such as:

Bad Voice overs in FMV and some Robot Masters sound kind of lame there voices I mean.
And Bass was far to easy, IMO. But overall MM8 is a very good game. I want to try the Saturn Version to fight the two extra Robot Masters that are hid in two Stages.

Pleeeeeeeease? I'd like to see that too.

:D

Beat Sword of Berserk: Gut's Rage for DC on Normal mode. Going back and beating it on Hard (almost done) to unlock more things. Pretty good game.

1942 (NES) - Long and repetitive but made easy by infinite continues (I think infinite. I used quite a few). Also the soundtrack is maybe the worst in video game history. 1943 is the better game.

Banjo Kazooie (N64) - I beat it a few years ago when I borrowed it off a mate but finally got my own copy recently and got addicted to it again. Great game. Now I need Banjo Tooie.

Very good game.

Over the last few days I completed:

Megaman POWer Battles and Megaman POWer Fighters. Has anyone tried the PC Megaman games? Are they good?

Today I beat:

GUN. Very good game. Lots to Explore and do! If only the Game was longer. But the whole game was fun! I beat it on Easy so far. Has anyone beat it on Insane level yet?

Conquered Just Cause on the 360.

Conquered Just Cause on the 360.

Did you like it? I saw a preview about it, and looked interesting. Was it fun.

Just finished Zelda II: The Adventure of Link. I forgot what a complete pain that last palace is; I haven't finished that game since I was like, 19 . The reflexes have gone down the toilet.
Hopefully I can finish Maniac Mansion now before midnight and "The Game Of The Week" changes. It's one hell of a more relaxing game.

Conquered Just Cause on the 360.

Did you like it? I saw a preview about it, and looked interesting. Was it fun.

I love it, which is an opinion it seems not a lot of others share.

People whine about the graphics, and that it's repetitive, I've even seen a few people that claim to have been "bored after 10 minutes". They must not have been able to get the wrapping open, and got bored with the struggle, because I have 34 hours of play into it in the last 3-4 days, all of it was enjoyable.

just conquered Contra for probably the 15th time

i haven't played it in awhile and that last run through showed, i put in 'the code' got a game over in level 5

i used to be able to beat it on one continue without the code

Dont know if you can say i've 'conquered' NFL Blitz 2k but I havnt lost in like 30 straight games

Finished Quake II on the 360, now to start into Quake 4...

Embarassingly, I have a tendancy to bash games, then feel sorry for them and go play the. Quite often, this leads to me becoming good at them and then liking them. You are probably all familiar with my rant about SMB2 on either a Mario poll or the game's own thread. One month after writing that, I played it. Two months after it, I played to I beat it, thus making it another one of my slaves. So, to recap...

Finished Quake 4 on the 360. it's a horrible port that suffers from inexcusable framerate issues, and the last boss is disappointingly easy.

Beat Zelda II: The Adventure of Link again (for some reason I've become addicted to that one all over again), and thanks to Roth's video hints, I beat NES Double Dragon, it's the only time I've been able to beat that one since it was new!

ha! Awesome... Glad it helped somebody :)

Finished the story missions on Saints Row on the 360.

Also finished Prey on the 360. What an incredibly weird game...

Over the past few days I beated:

Kirby's Adventure
Little Samson

Both very amazing games.

Call of Duty 2 on the 360 on "Hardened" difficulty. Now I need to do "Veteran" for the achievements.

Anyone concerned with my lack of NES gaming as of late need only play the 360 to understand.

How well do you do on Online with CoD 2, Luke?

On Tuesday I finished:

Akumajō Special: Boku Dracula-kun

Well, I've been kinda busy on conquering. First off:

I just beat X-Men. I haven't gotten around to recording a movie of it yet, as I just got done finishing it:

I've gone through Jaws and Golgo-13: Top Secret Episode, both with pics and movies:

... and FINALLY I've gotten through Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde! One problem though. I was recording it on VirtuaNES and beat it. I wasn't sure if I was actually going to, but I was recording for a coming up NES Tips ;) Anyway, I'm having trouble conquering it a second time so I can take a pic on the NES :/ So for now, there is just the movie:

i gotta see that Dr. J and Mr. H vid so i can beat that pile of....

and congrats on that one Roth

My wife conquered Bonk's Adventure today:

She generally goes through that game at least once every six months :P Yesterday I also conquered Cabal finally:

Thanks a ton dude... but wait until you see this:

Tomb Raider: Legend on the 360. Finally the series is worth playing. no more irritating movement controls, this game is just very playable.

Damn it, I've got to get out of this retro game kick I'm on and start this one before the next installment comes out!
Don't know if it counts, but I got through several of the Chinese Year symbols (stages) on Shanghai III (MAME Tai-Pei type game).

Just beat Knights of the Round on normal. Damn, what a fun game. Personally, I prefer it to the Golden Axe games.

It also reminded me of how much I want a Super Nintendo. Unfortunately, saving cash isn't an option now that I have to pay bus fare.

Finished Perfect Dark Zero on Secret Agent. Now I just need Logan to be less lame, and we can give it a rip through on co-op...

I will have about a week strait to play games during Thanksgiving

I recently went through Castlevania again

Haha! I'm lovin' the custom smiley man.

Back on topic: I played through Kirby's Adventure today starting on World 3.

Ha-ha! One of the best smileys ever!
Game Of The Week fever again. I finished Probotector, then took a nap.

Played though SMB in my short free time.
Then played through Tetris on B mode, i.e. beat it on lv 9 height 5. I love that "ending" screen.

Gears of War has been conquered on Hardcore difficulty. Time to attempt some co-op.

DUBBLE POST!11!!

Gears of War conquered on Insane Co-Op with Nesmaster. This game is just amazing.

EDIT: Just remembered that I ripped through Capcom Vs. SNK at the movies today. I don't know what difficulty they had the machine set on, but it only took one credit, and I only lost one round.

...In the past few days:
Pretty Soldier Sailor Moon (MAME)
Deadly Towers and Megaman 2
...And I've 'bought' Storm, Chun-Li, and Sabretooth on MVSC 2, haven't been able to topple Abyss yet...that guy's a royal pain.
~EDIT/UPDATE~ Conquered MvC2 last night with the team of Jill Valentine, Cable, and Iceman, and I didn't even expect to finish it

Beat GUN on Hard mode just now.. Big accomplishment for me since I had alot of trouble with Magruder's mine in normal mode.. but I found some strategies for the magruder pwnage battle that made it easier. Waiting for a damn sequel..

Megaman 5. Apparently I never actually finished it before so I had to go back to complete my MM NES saga.

Note: Beat my personal high score for Balloon Fight. I don't know if that game has an ending, but I would think it doesn't.

Heh. Finally beat the main quest in Dragon Warrior Monster, now I'm doing the bonus gates and such. Working on beating S.C.A.T. and Trojan, managed to finish Crystalis. Surprising what you can do when you're recuperating from a surgery.

Conquered Rainbow Six: Vegas on normal difficulty. Trying to progress online now. then perhaps later I'll attempt "Realistic" difficulty

My wife and I unlocked all characters in "Bleach GC Tasogare ni mamieru shinigami". It's quite a fund game. Not as deep as Soul Calibur 2, but still a very good fighter.

I beat GUN, the full story mode without buying any upgrades or increasing my stats with side missions yesterday.

I forgot to add, during the week I beat:
RE 4, Took me long enough....

And today I beat:

DragonBall Z Sagas on Hard Mode.

DragonBall Z Sagas on Hard Mode.

I bought that for $30 a while back, played it an hour then put it on the shelf to collect dust...

I finally got the last three coins I needed in New Super Mario Brother . I beat it all a month or two ago and just now got around to getting those last three coins 100% yay

DragonBall Z Sagas on Hard Mode.

I bought that for $30 a while back, played it an hour then put it on the shelf to collect dust...

It's a good game. But I wish it was a bit longer. And playing as Brolly is pretty neat also.

Today I unlocked everything in Mario Kart Double Dash so that means 100% done. Yay.

I finished Gun on insane difficulty recently. I'll just say that the name of the mode is pretty fitting.

Recently, i've finished-

Tony Hawks Underground, it's sequel and Tony Hawk's pro skater 4. All on xbox.
Legend of Zelda - The windwaker - Gamecube.
Tony Hawk's 3 - Gamecube.

EDIT- I forget to say I completed the "classic" mode on THUG 2 also.

Last night I finally finished Castlevania: Harmony of Dissonance on the GBA. Now I have to start into Aria of Sorrow.

I just beat Tiny Toon Adventures 2: Trouble in Wackyland for the NES. pretty good game, I ended up dying like 1,0000 times in the last level.

Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter on the 360. Awesome game, I love Ubisoft more and more with each game I play.

Don't play Red Steel then.

On sunday I unlocked everything and got 100% on DBZ: BT 2. I wish the Story mode was a bit longer but it was fun game overall.

Don't play Red Steel then.

Oh, I know they're responsible for some pretty horrible games, but most that come from Montreal are really exceptional. Unfortunately Shanghai seems to be the opposite.

Today I Conquered Zelda: TP on the Wii. Very Amazing game. The final boss fights with Ganondolf was fricken sick. One of my Fav Zelda games.(OoT is my fav Zelda game) The last few duagons in TP felt like a chore but the whole game was very fun.

Finished Super Star Wars for the SNES on Jedi level. Starting Super Star Wars: Empire Strikes Back now.

Well, just finished Super Star Wars Empire Strikes Back. Now onto Return of the Jedi. These games are getting progressively harder as the trilogy goes on (no matter what difficulty level).

Great games though.

I can never beat those damned SNES Star Wars games.

As for me, I beat Little Samson on hard mode over break, as well as finally fixing (and beating) Mr. Mosquito, which was easy.

In the last little while I beat:

Dragon Warrior (NES): I never liked this game, annoys the hell out of me. I'm glad I finally beat it though.

Jaws (NES): I also don't get the semi-popularity of this game. It frustrates me and it's increidbly friggin BORING.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Tournament Fighters (NES): I don't know if the ending is any different on Normal or Hard mode, but I beat it on Easy mode and it wasn't very hard. I might try Normal or Hard mode later but for now I'm gonna chuck it on my beaten games list.

EDIT: I just beat Normal mode, and theres a bit extra added on at the ending. I might try hard mode, but probably not as the game isn't that good.

Today I Conquered:

Super Mario 64 (With all 120 stars).

Today I conquered Elite Beat Agents in Sweatin' and I'm almost halfway in HARD ROCK! The funny thing is, that I can't pass Breezin' or Cruisin' levels because I got used to the hit markers going fast.

I wanna get Ouendan

Today I conquered Elite Beat Agents in Sweatin' and I'm almost halfway in HARD ROCK! The funny thing is, that I can't pass Breezin' or Cruisin' levels because I got used to the hit markers going fast.

I wanna get Ouendan

Too bad you can't play Sweatin' or HARD ROCK! without passing Cruisin'.

Wow, it's been a long time since I posted here...
Today I finished Wario Ware: Smooth Moves.
It wasn't too tough. Now we can enjoy multiplayer games. Those are even more fun than the single player part.

Well, beat Super Star Wars: Return of the Jedi. The trilogy is complete. Now time to go and beat Final Fantasy (NES). I have a hard time playing it, because of the slow battle system.

Last Night I conquered Super Castlevania IV on VC.

I beat

Dragon Warrior II: Eh. Better then the first one but still not that great. I guess I'm not that big a fan of RPGs.

Robocop 2: ARGH. I want to kill the person who developed this game.

Totally Rad: Finally something I enjoyed! this game was sorta easy, and sorta hard. the mini bosses are harder then the actual bosses. Crazyness.

my friend and i finally beat tiny toon adventures. It took us an embarassingly long time. There is a level where guys throw stuff out the windows and then the following level is a junkyard or something. THose back to back set us back at least an hour....seriously. It's still a decently fun game although we couldn't find hampton after world 3.

Defeated Super Bomberman 1 for SNES. Now onto Super Bomberman 2!

This morning I Defeated Bomberman'93. 5-Player=Win.

Deafted Super Bomberman 2. Now on to 3!

Terminator 2: This NES game is horrible. It has nice music but the rest of it is no good.

Shadow of the Ninja: decent game, nothing spectacular, but fun enough to play through.

I'm now at 129 beaten NES Games. WOO.

Defeated Megaman 2.

My fav Megaman game.

This Weekend I finally Conquered:

Jet Grind Radio(Jet set radio)
Megaman Battle Network 6 Cybeast Gregar.

Defeated Megaman. I think I've beat it before, but I couldn't remember. Good game. A couple of Wily's bosses where tough.

So that's Megaman 1 & 2 defeated. Onto 3. Maybe I'll continue my Super Bomerman run after.

This Week I Conquered:

Super Princess Peach, Cooking Mama.

First "conquer" in a while

Beat Family Guy for PS2. Pretty decent game, almost like 3 simultaneous extended mini-games wrapped in one game (with a few Family guy type quarks thrown in). Never seemed choppy or cheaply done, solid gameplay, and fairly easy. I think it took about 6 hours, could've been less (or more ).

I recommend renting this for a couple bucks and beating it, especially if you like the show, not worth buying however.

Beat Megaman 3. I think I'll stop there for awhile. I'm kinda Megamaned out.

Haha, I bought Elite Beat Agents this morning at 10am. Started playing it around 12:30pm and beat it at 3pm Thats 2.5 hours (watching about half of the cut-scenes). That was on "Cruisin'" still got "Sweatin'" to go.

Guess I just have a nack for those rhythm based games

There's another after Sweatin', don't get too confident.

Wow... I tried some of the Sweatin', and I don't think I'll be able to beat alot of those on 1st or second try like Cruisin'. Guess I'll have to actually put some time into to it to beat both of the later difficulties.

After many years, and many accidentally erased memory cards, I finally realized my dream and reached the end of year three in Harvest Moon: Back to Nature. Now I am shooting for the Goal of 999 of every crop shipped.

Man, the only harvest moon(friends of mineral town-GBA) which I have seiously tried to play- I barely made it through the first season..I just wanted to get to the lottery next month, and then it was the lottery day and I think I didn't even do it. I'm probably one of the few people who has a more successful garden in real life than whne they play harvest moon games.

This week my friend and I finally beat the original Ninja Gaiden, we started at 7pm and played until 2:30am. Level 6 is a piece of cake..after the first 2 hours.
And last night we beat Little Nemo Dream Master, which I considered to be more difficult than the games title and premise always lead me to believe. Seriously, a nightmare land? Who does that? I thought we beat the game at that point.

Beat Elite Beat Agents on Sweatin' (damn flight cancellation). This one took me about 6 hours. A couple songs gave me some trouble but about 50% of them were beat 1st or 2nd try. O ya, I got an "A" on the last song on sweatin'.... Tuff game.

Nice!
On the trip I finished Alien Hominid for GBA.

Beat Megaman 2 for the first time a few days ago. One of the games I never had in my childhood

Pretty cool game. I thought I was one of the last ones to defeat/play Megaman 2.

Just finsihed Metal Slug X on Co-Op on Normal. I think I will try hard mode later.

Today I finished Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Moive Game DS and Raymen Raving Rabbits DS.

Good lord. I've been gone for all this time, and the only game I've managed to finish in that time is Tomb Raider Legend (100%), of course, I've been busy, with busted computers & work.

Hey, today I managed to beat New Super Mario Bros.
I didn't even intend to. I only played in my "study breaks", i.e. along the lines of before lunch and wehn my wife wanted ti use the PC.
I beat the last stage with Bowser while on the potty.

On Saturday I conquered Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles in Time. Fighting Shredder at the end is weird. I mean it looks like he has a Light Saber and knows force POWers..Very fun Arcade game.

Earlier in the week I conquered Street Fighter 2010 2 on the VC. I was Ryu of course!

Last night I finally beat the original Megaman on my NES. I had to use the select trick on Yellow Devil & Wily, however.

Anyway, that means I've beaten Megaman 1, 2, and 5. I own 3 and 6, and need to track down 4...I'd like to find 5 just to have, even though I've already conquered it. 5 was great, underrated.

My roommate and I finally beat Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles3: The Manhattan Project, after all these years. We've played it sporadically, about 4 or 5 times over the last year or so, and we finally put this baby to rest the other night.

Finally got around to beating Marble Blast Ultra on Advanced, all under par. Been working on getting achievements lately.

Update: Got all achievements for MBU now... Next, is Lost Planet.

I recently beat Shadowgate and Chip 'n Dale: Rescue Rangers 2

A few days ago I beat Project Gotham 3 on "hard"
Now my exams are over, I can probably finish Call of Duty 2 (I have about 3 stages left to do) and get rank no.1 on Virtua Tennis 3.

Today I finished Call of Duty 2.

Yesterday I beat Vs. Super Mario Bros. in the arcade. I think that may have been one of the toughest mario games I've ever played, even harder than the lost levels - smb2j I think.

I think that is the only arcade game I have really ever beaten too.

i beat super Metroid again, during finals i beat it 4 and 3/4ths times. yes, i have it on my ds.

Just today alone, I finished Castlevania, Deadly Towers, and IronSword: Wizards & Warriors II from beginning to end.
I've been in a huge NES mood lately...

_I_ logandbz, GUITAR GOD, have just beaten JORDAN ON EXPERT Finally.. this has been my all time Goal for some time now.

I also only have 5 songs left to 5 star on EXPERT. These are all currently at 4*'s: Jordan, Rock this Town, The Trooper (really close to 5*ing), and Psychobilly freakout. And the only song I have at 3*'s is "SIX".

So there you go.

Beat Actraiser......again.

beat super Metroid......again ...again.

Just now I reached rank #1 on Virtua Tennis 3, attaining my uber status. I have also unlocked all but one of the offline achievements. I still have to beat Duke and King, but they're tough bastards.
I've now completed all but one of my four 360 games.

i got "pro" rank on all of the Wii Sports ....sports.

I beat Lost Planet on EXTREME the other day... Now just the Target marks for 100% completion

i beat Mario and Luigi super star saga for the 2nd time...

Went through another game of Super Mario 64.. beat the last bowser within 10 seconds, it took me like 10 tries last time.. 111 stars.

Metal Gear solid
MGS-Vr missions
Metal Gear solid 2(it was substance)
MGS2 - substance--Vr missions.

Finally FINALLY beat GHII on EXPERT with all 5 stars on career songs... YAY

Now I just have to get 5 stars on Jordan(at 4) and 5 stars on SIX(at 3)

Two or three days ago I played through Lego Star Wars 2. I'm not 100% completed, i'm about 64%.
At the moment i'm attempting to get "true jedi" on each level and so far have done as such on the "a new hope" levels.

beat Snake eater again....but this time on normal with only the knife....except for bosses...plus i killed everyone i had seen. that was 255 people.

though i did kill the final boss with a knife...because its possible.

beat Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles last night, not really a big accomplishment... Fun game, definatly a good rental.

Tomb Raider Anniversary for the 2nd time (though not 100% yet; the time trials are really strict in this one), and Ultima: Exodus for the good ol' NES.

my friend hadnt played through snake eater yet...so him and i did...

i also beat a DS game...i cant remember which one though.

Maybe you should see a doctor?

Can't remember which DS game you beat? How many do you have?

well i have like 30-ish(including brothers)....and i have an M3 simply.

I finally beat Elite Beats Agents on "Hard Rockin". That was a very fun/challenging game.

Thats what it was!!!!
EBA....

3rd difficulty i beat.

Thats what it was!!!!
EBA....

3rd difficulty i beat.

Sweatin?

i dunno....it was chieftain i know that.

Beat God of War II on normal mode, pretty curious about the other "treasures" I might have to go through it again on a harder setting.

I just completed the godfather. I probably wouldn't recommend this game as it's extremely tedious/repetitive and takes too many liberties with the plot line. This is a shame, really as there are a few nice touches in it.

All Golds, all tapes, all characters in THPS for N64.

I finished the story portion of The Godfather on the 360 a while back, I didn't think it was too bad, but I haven't seen the movies.

I finished the story portion of The Godfather on the 360 a while back, I didn't think it was too bad, but I haven't seen the movies.

I finished everything in The Godfather and enjoyed it all the way through. The only thing I did not do was find all 100 film reels, and crack all the safes. Cause that is teh ghey.

Killzone on the PS2 has been conquered.

I think it was tracking the time inaccurately though, it seems to think it took me 34 hours to finish it. and playing for an hour this morning resulted in a 3 hour boost to the "played time" statistic.

Overall though, pretty decent game, if you can get past the numerous technical flaws. Has me pretty excited about Killzone 2.

The other day I finished Colin McRae Dirt, both the career and championship modes. So far i've also unlocked all but 5 of the achievements.

I do quite like the game, but it is pretty easy, the achievements provide no extra challenges as it's stuff you have to do to complete the career mode mostly. My biggest gripe is how out of the six different countries there's hardly any differing conditions.

All the leagues and cups (bar the master league, I can't be bothered with that) in Pro Evo Soccer 6.
I've now finished all my 360 but Oblivion. (That's not saying much though, I only have 7 games)

Halo 3 is done, now I need to get the skulls, and get some people together to play on Legendary...

i would enjoy playing halo 3 online with someone i kinda know.

Tron Red Guy
is my tag. well actually my friends tag, but his 360 got red ring, so he gave me his harddrive with live until he gets another one.

Zelda - Phantom Hourglass (jp)

It was a bit short, but surely worth its money.

Last night I finished Oblivion, i've done all the quests, bar one daedric shrine quest which crashes when you finish it. I've also unlocked all the achievements. It took me about 160 hours to finish it. Great game overall, can't wait to get the add on packs.

You might be better off trading in your current copy toward the Game of the Year edition.

I finished Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction last night, and I'm currently about to face the final boss on my second play-through (after a little more collecting). This is one awesome game. Probably the best I've played in a long while. If you own a PS3, you need to get Ratchet.

I beat the hardest team on Mutant League football.

A few weeks ago, I beat Call of Duty 4 on the PS3 on normal mode. Haven't attempted Veteran yet, been having too much fun with the multiplayer.

Today I beat Uncharted for the PS3 on normal, going to have to go through on harder settings to get more points and unlock more cool things. I really can't recommend this game enough for PS3 owners.

Also finished up Manhunt 2, interesting story, little hard to play, but overall, not a bad game.

On (what I think is) the final fight on Super Mario Galaxy, I'll update when I finish it (if I can figure out how to hurt him...)

Update: Done, that's three games down since I woke up this morning.

Okay, so Wind Waker again, after a year, but more importantly:

Super Mario RPG, Seven Stars. I had that game when it first game out. I was young and stupid and couldn't play it, so I sold it off. It returned to me in the form of my friend's copy, and I borrowed it. In one week, I had bettered his file on the game and defeated everything except Culex. I am happy.

RE4 Wii Edition, I might actually be able to get the hand cannon with the Wii controls.

you couldnt get the hand cannon before the wii controls?
